Can we just take a moment and appreciate the fact, that even tho she have her own makeup brand with bakingpowder, she still lists other brands powder as options! btw, i have both the huda and rcma powder and i love them both
True! ✨😃👍🏼
yah! she does such a great job at appreciating brands, that she just steals ideas, ad campaigns, and themes from black owned company’s! And if you didn’t know, the owner started a company from the ground up after her medical battle with cancer. she REALLY takes appreciating other brands to another level! right?!?

Every video on her IG is always using her products, this is one of the rare videos where she isn't!
YourGirl Anna If you look at her other videos on UA-cam, you will see she uses other products a lot.. 🤷🏻♀️
You’re a REAL influencer/UA-camr. No drama, no personal life involved, bomb ass products, an EMPIRE still have the time to educate your fans! Amazing
I feel like people with naturally dry skin don't need to bake this much.
No, I don't bake at all because I have dry under eyes, so it ages me like 30 years. Baking on dry skin is a definite no.
@@jess-tu6jcYes I have dry skin with skin patches around my eyes if I bake I turn from 29 to 39 in a quick moment!!!
Baking is really about increasing foundation longevity, keeping it from moving, and disguising pores. If one doesn’t have an issue with any of those then baking is pointless. But if make up ‘melts’ off off certain areas easily and pores are a ‘problem’ then it’s worth it to bake those areas. I only do it for special occasions. I use the kat von d loose powder
goodlife459 that’s true, I just like it because it gives off an hd finish as if you have a blurring effect on the skin if that makes sense. As you mentioned it’s good for problematic skin, with skin like butter this really would be pointless lol
Sabrina عبدي totally agree with you staying power and using moisturizer. Which moisturizer, powder and foundation combo do you use for HD effect? My combo is MUFE HD foundation and Kat Von D powder (but when I run out of MUFE HD I’m going to go with LA Girl pro coverage HD long wear Illuminating foundation..it’s a good very inexpensive dupe for MUFE HD original formula & along with Kat von D LA girl is vegan cruelty-free, which is a great bonus)
I searched easy things to bake and this is what I got lol
I am screaming😂😂
Bahahahahahahahahahahahahha I’m laughing my ass off

Honestly I feel like the dry matte instagram look is so 2017. The healthy Korean dewy glass skin look is more fashionable now. It’s more youthful, fresh and pretty.
i know right???
Personally, i love both of them. Some days i do the dewy look and other days i do the matte look. I just don’t like the idea of doing my makeup according to whats trendy anymore, even in fashion; if i like something then i like something...
Ally Magic totally agree! I feel like, follow some “trendy “ to do my own makeup, is so 2017😂
well it’s good but dewy in the right places not dewy near your nose and awkward places
Its not even about a trend... some people are just very oily and they need it!
I prefer the greasiness tho, it looks glowy and highlights some features.
I dont like a look thats too mat from the baking. But thats me though
You have to setting your concelear , imo. Not a huge fan of baking too., only if i want matt make-up.
Omg I was like no don’t put more! She looked way better before she caked!
No I don’t have to bake my face because my skin is too dry for that crap.
Exactly 🙄
Same
Thank you. So tired of these trends
SAMEEE
Hennaly Patel exactly.. especially when you wear concealer and bake it it messes up your under eyws
I have SUPER oily skin so I bake my entire face when I wear a base. I usually do my eye makeup and leave it there the entire time. It helps a lot!! Another trick I learned to really help your makeup stay is to set your primer with powder before applying your foundation. Best thing ever!
Baking’s overrated makes you look so cakey and dry in person but really good on camera and photos
Makes your undereyes have creases too. It's excessive and unnecessary for most people
Yes! I personally think no one needs to bake for real life occasions, but if you're going on camera and taking photos, then it can look amazing. However, I prefer the dewy look because I just like my skin to look fresh and youthful, even if I'm doing a glam makeup look.
I bake on my face everyday! Maybe y’all doing it wrong looooool
@@ambiskye I know you are a blonde but try to use common sense. First ingredient in baking powder is what??? Talc! Talc is the same powder my parents used to keep my behind dry as a baby. (Johnson and Johnson baby powder) So guess what??? Its dries you out!!! Every professional mua knows this. But Huda here is just trying to sell us a product. You want to look old? Than u bake, do you! But dont condescend us and say we aren't doing it right. Baking is not rocket science girl. Maybe you need to wear a mask of makeup on your face but not everyone does. 🤡🤡
@@dreac6241 what does my hair colour have to do with this comment? Loooooooooll
I have Oily skin and baking works great for me,
Always has always will!
Baking isn’t for everyone.
Try educating yourself before you open your mouth.
Wtf her face has changed drastically I ain’t seen her in years
Yeah actually , she have been doing botox , filters and other things over the couple of years
shamailah1 she is like millions time more pretty. I’m shooketh
shamailah1 botched
shamailah1 i dont see any difference 🤔
Yeah there's a big difference . All the fillers and such and when she talks her face is like frozen..(Yeah it moves but not normal the way it would without fillers) And her foundation in the beginning is too dark for her complexion, like she tried to make it look bad on purpose but it still looked good anyway.
I’ve been baking for years now, right about when it became ”trendy”, and honestly I can’t imagine stop doing that. I feel like it’s necessary to avoid cakeness and your makeup getting all over your face and end up in the wrong places. I always get excited when you do a video where you bring up things I’ve been doing for years because that makes me feel proffesional loool
I’m so terrible when it comes to makeup. I’m very basic and rarely accentuate my lips because I’m super self conscious about the attention they get. I love watching your videos and practicing my look. I tend to get greasy so this is definitely very helpful. Thank you.
I like the fact that she promotes her own brand but at the same time she takes into consideration other drug store brands and recommends them💕💕💕
Your pre baked face is the best you've looked in a loooooooonnnnngggg time..
For 20 min...
Studio lights makes everything seems better
Honestly her style of baking is better than a lot of other people I've seen.
Am I the only one who likes the “greasy” look? Lol it’s really glowy and dewy just the way I like!! What I would do different is only put powder on the fourhead other than that it looks absolutely beautiful and healthy looking.I don’t like baking a lot
Me too
I don’t mind the oil honestly!! Maybe I’ll touch up with a tiny amount of powder like so tiny on the nose .. actually no I wouldn’t 😂😂😂 I love the dewy oily look
I have extremely oily skin, I do not like the glowy skin. I stay away from anything with shimmer.
i also like it. I am 30. The last 4-5 years i do only dewy make up. No powder... Looks fresh and young. Powders look only on tv and lights good. If you go closer it will only be cakey and nasty. So glow again and again. I already regret having bought the easy bake.

Baking isn’t in anymore. Here in the US women are going for a more natural look. Plus, not everyone gets fillers under their eyes and by nasal folds so baking enhances lines and wrinkles if you’re over 25.

Haha ✨👍🏼
Me too dear me too lol. I'm the color of paper already, so this makes me look like a white walker!
It’s funny that’s you had this up today. I am 58 years old and for the first time - my makeup game is on point!!!!! I am now using your products (I’m Hispanic and nothing seemed to work for me color wise), and it makes so much of a difference. I love your videos and have just tried baking. Thank you. Also - your black liner is amazing. Thanks Huda. You have been an inspiration for me
OMG I really admire the fact that you also listed below some affordable options besides your own powders! You are so humble and I still remember when you were "just" a youtuber. Now you are this huge and inspiring entepreneur ❤️🥰
Baking is terrible (for me). As someone with really dark circles, hyperpigmentation, south Asian skin and wrinkles, baking makes my wrinkles look worse but it also slightly highlights my dark circles and makes the area grey.
I feel like baking is more suited for those with lighter skin tones who hardly have major hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tones.
Maya L not true.. I’m dark skin and I bake and my skin looks great afterwards with my dark circle and hyperpigmentation. You probably aren’t using the best products or aren’t doing the routine correct.
HUIS VAN SURI doesn’t mean something has to be untrue simply because of my experience and I did specify that it was terrible for me personally. I was making a generalised statement. Also, it’s unfair for you to assume I’m not doing it correctly. I’ve followed several different baking methods and I have used all the top-named brands for baking I.e. Laura mercier, Huda beauty, RCMA.
100%, The premise of this video is just completely ignorant lol. I have dry skin and there's no way in HECK i'd EVER bake. Unless i want to look like a literal pie crust.
I m from India n I can relate with you
Then you need to colour correct your undereye

Loved these little tips, I always look hella greasy throughout the day, I just recently got your baking powder in banana bread and you weren’t joking when you said it will change your makeup game! Girl I’m obsessed it’s made a major difference and I LOVEEEE it! THANK YOU!
I'm sorry but baking is not necessary....
It’s only necessary because she sells a baking powder.
It's important for oily skin. But i remember back when she didn't have a baking powder she said in a Video that she wouldn't bake everyday and only for special occasions
@Sunny Love I have combination skin.. just blot with blotting paper and touch up if you need to.. I remember when she said she wouldn't bake too the way she's doing now that she has her own baking powder... It's just for money. More power to her for making that money 😏
@@ElifNurMuhammad You can, but us with super oily skin, its not enough with blotting paper and ''touchups''. Baking is a savior.
@@ijustwannabehappier-v4973 I personally like the dewy look. Too much powder and baking looks too dry. I'm not knocking the makeup. Huda has some good makeup skills ... But sometimes it's just too much and covers her natural beauty up too. Ehhh.. anyway we all have our personal likes and dislikes about makeup styles and that's okay.
as an oily-skinned girl I bake every time I put makeup on. I will even bake when I'm using a bb cream and concealer , makes all the difference in terms of controlling oils
Whenever I tried baking my undereye area after applying some concealer it looked dry as a desert and it looked like I had FAR more wrinkles than I actually have. I don't know what I did wrong, I tried different baking powders but I always got the same result.
Sarina El try moisturizing a LOT before ! With highly moisturizing products before and use products for dry skin.
Use the YSL pen concealer. You don't have to use powder after it .it will do the both & will mosstiorias the under eye skin area
It's bot your fault. It always happens. Just stop setting it or if your need to just tap some powder with a brush
It really depends on your concealer! Like the tarte concealer is much more moist than the nars one (that makes me look old whenever i bake)
And I also put baking powder with a brush under my eye and brush it off immediatly after it. Makes it less “dry-ish” .. i know exactly what u mean!
Same with me! That’s why I don’t bake. I set it with a little power and dust the rest off. It seems to work best that way
I tried this yesterday and I got so many compliments at work saying I look fresh!! Love this tip!!
we need a tutorial on this look.. love this soft glam!
The QUEEN of putting us on game! From nutmeg masks (that did my skin wonders) to good cheap products. I LOVE YOU HABIBTI ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hate having combination skin. I’m either too greasy or dry or both
Don’t you just love how she listed other loose powders that she loves too? I love u huda and proud of you and the success you achieved 🇸🇦🇮🇶
I remember when I met you with coincidence I freaked out😂😂😂😂😂😂I almost cried because I would always hope to meet you and I believed in it and alhamdullah I did❤️❤️❤️you were the sweetest ever actually🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much baby!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have dry skin and don't need to bake my face, but this technique has been a game changer for setting my cream concealer under my eyes. Just pressing a generous amount of powder into the skin with a sponge, makes it mesh with the concealer and sets it into place preventing it from creasing. Brushing on powder lightly with a brush does nothing for setting my concealer
I always bake with a sponge, buff it out with a brush and buff my face with the leftovers🥰
She is so sweet and approachable. I'd like to have such friend! Also this powder IS the best for baking, it really elevated my makeup look.
I've been conflicted about baking because apparently if you have lines under your eyes naturally (I'm 24) it accentuates those!
Myra - yes
Same. I'm 25 and baking makes me look 45.
Same. I’m 23 and it makes me look 53 when I tried it 😭😭 I much prefer a dewey and glowy base, it looks more natural and smooth.
I have lines under my eyes too. Try applying it lightly then brush it off.
Bunny Makeup Thats what I do instead of baking. Thanks :)
Sooo cute as always hbebty كلش فخورين بيج على فكرة وجهج هواية متغير واحلى واحلى😍🥰كلامج افهمه لكن سرررريع 😃كلش

does baking with a wet sponge differ from baking using a brush?
@@user-ty3yh8sb5y By using a wet sponge, you can pick up more loose powder and it gives you an airbrushed finish (if used properly), whereas using a dry brush can sometimes cause the loose powder to look blotchy.
This is just my opinion.
I am 45, and are in a constant "hot flash". I always look dewy, no matter how much powder I use. I cannot use too much, because then it dries me out, more than my mature skin already is. I use a brush to lightly bake and brighten (I use the Patrick Starr × Mac setting powder). Its hard to find the right balance of what looks good, its all in the beholder.

She ruined her face
I have the most oily brows ever! Always have! I didnt even know it was a thing just thought I was weird or it was something I was using (pencil, pomade) so I'd always use a brow powder over what ever I used. My oils would still come through. I've never thought or even heard to bake them! Thank you SO MUCH FOR THAT!!! I use a blotting sheet and/or blotting powder, oil control powder on my brows throughout the day, that helps. But I'm definitely gonna try baking!! Thank you! First time in a long time I learned something new!!
this woman she's a real queen
Since when does baking make it less cakey, that’s actually the total opposite. Baking ain’t cute
منو مافتهم شيي اني شغلت الفيديو وكعدت اقره التعليقات🌚💔
It depends on what tupe of skin u have if you have oily skin foundation make itvlook more shiney and its deffinetly notbcute so baking takes the extreme shine on my face. So diffrent skin diffrent techniques love you huda 💗💗
Wellllllll Rihanna’s makeup artist said not to bake sssoooooooo idk girl 💁🏽♀️
Yeah that's why she use blot powders and blotting paper thru the day... It's a prefer thing.. Plus she is a more editorial makeup kinda artist..
Most makeup artists won’t recommend it tbh, especially not under the eyes. It creates a TON of texture due to excessive product and dries the hell out of your under eyes. It’s personal preference, sure, but baking is honestly extremely unnecessary at best.
I had to say I looove your baking powder! It’s so thin but pigmented enough, I live in Spain and I have combination skin so I can get really oily especially with the heat and your powder has got my back every day! My makeup doesn’t budge, I’m mat where I want all day (no need to buy a mattifying powder anymore!) and last but not least the price is really worth it, I still have some product left in my banana bread a year after purchasing it! You nailed it Huda 👏🏻👏🏻💕
Everyone who said her look ‘pre-baking’ was better most definitely do not have oily skin
This video was right on time! My eyebrows are so greasy and I just started using setting powder in them too! But I don’t think I was baking them long enough but I will start now. Thank you so much for the tips, I’m definitely gonna implement more of them and I’m passing this video on to some of my friends too! 🙏🏾🙌🏾😊
P. S. Huda you look so pretty as always! 😍😍 I love your videos, you have such positive energy and a great personality!
I’d like to see her “””Cakey””””” before baking look in REAL life and not under huge bright lights on an HD camera that captures every pore
I always bake with damp sponge, it’s a game changer. You’re super gorgeous 😍😍 Thank you for this.
make videos with the mini nude palettes🙏🏼🙏🏼 they look amazing✨✨✨
Love it. I always bake my face it helps a lot with greasy skin. Thanks huda
Note I still hydrate my skin before applying anything
But ur “greasy” looks dewy and healthy to me lol
Leora Cho no it does not
My dry skin is wanting to look that “greasy” 😂
Ju Near ugh I WISH I had dry skin
İyi Kız haha I think everyone wants what they don’t have, because sometimes I’d rather have oily skin 😂
İ have dry skin and wanting that look
I don't know about all the comments about greasy and dewy... My opinion is that the matte look when applied properly on the right skin type looks beautiful and classic. I bake regularly and it works for me. Huda has a really good product that has become my favorite. I think the highlighted and wet look is over done. But it all comes down to personal preference and what works well with your skin and comfort.

Queen love your look here and your technique 💋💋💋 Have to use it for my brows💗💗💗 Thanks
@lattitutorials your looks are awesome
Before i even know what Baking is.. i always used to apply Ponds Powder (yes the white loose powder which lot of indians girls have used as growing up) and dust the excess off lightly with my face towel.. it worked just fine! When i discovered baking i thought i am a genius 😁
Haha I feel like this is in retaliation to MrJovitaGorge's video lol, she was saying that baking is completely unnecessary.
Kymberly Stallard SAME!!!!
And she is right its not necessary it doesnt look good imo.
The comment I was looking for!
And Jovita isn't wrong. Like Jovita said, every normal human being has creases under their eyes and so do I and whenever I have tried my hand on baking, fail, they get into my crease and looks cakey and messy.
And specially in a country like India, specially the states along the coast line are so so humid that your makeup starts melting in two seconds no matter how many times you've baked your face.
Therefore, Baking does NOT work for everyone.
I feel that too!

She looks really different in this video. I don’t know why but she just does lol
Her brows
Maybe also her colored lenses, these look weirdly natural in comparison to the ones she usually wears
botox
Too much botox
She got Botox or something around her smile area
She makes it look so easy and flawless! I've never baked ... May just have to try now.
Can we still bake if we have fine lines under eye where the dark circles are? Wouldn’t baking make my skin dry and more wrinkly under the eye?
this happens to me too! I just do a light powdering under my eyes
If your under eyes are dryer then baking can look cakey and creasy
Baking helps if u really live in hot country, your make up last all day if u do bake it with a good powder aside from that, make it extra damp and squeeze excess amount of water if u do baking then your make up will long last, flawless and less cakey. l got an oily face and live in a hot area and this really helps 😁 l bake my whole entire face btw. So my make up last long. 😙
Even l don't use setting spray its good to go for whole day. l don't recommend this to dry skin people coz it surely looks super dry but it will surely last all day.
I need this powder but i literally have $2 to my name :(
Yes Omg Huda. Last couple days o have been baking my eyebrows and yes I am hooked. This is so genius. Many thanks guru. We are not worthy of your greatness 🙏🏽
I have wrinkles under my eyes so I can’t do it
Manal Weshah you can have botox
I have too but you know what if i don't bake my under eye look worst than few wrinkles
Oz Yalcin I do have Botox but still looks wrinkly because it’s so dru
I’m older too and have wrinkles but I use a under eye mask for 20 before my makeup and it looks sooooo much better. X
Oz Yalcin i did feller but in vain
What products do you have on your lips? Love it ! 😍
No, no, no, no, no, no and NO. You do not HAVE to bake your skin, UNLESS your job is to spend time in front of cameras. Whoever has worked in the film or television industry, even in the theater, knows what I'm talking about. The excessive makeup used by most influencers in their videos seems desperate in nature. So, to repeat myself again, big NO for baking.
Many people prefer the before look (which i respect because we all have different opinion) but in my opinion the after is so much more better, don't get me wrong like i love dewy looks and stuff but in my opinion it was waaay too dewy or oily and a lil dark but the after looks really nice and organized and brighter, I really love it + i really want to try baking but some areas in my face is kinda dry soo idk plus i don't own one lol
+ lookin' pretty as always huda 🥺💕.
I’m am totally going to do the eyebrow baking
I never knew that
Reading the step by step of baking has helped me see that there is a detail that I had not done before and that is applying the powder with a damp sponge and with this I have really seen a big difference, my makeup blends perfectly and There is a perfect layer without too much product. As a recommendation, I think it would be great if you could share the application of the blush after baking because I guess it wasn't applied very well because I must be touching it up throughout the day.
Mam u are soo gorgeous and I’m a huge fan of yours from 🇮🇳 india
