ya-boi-leafeon TF2 takes place between 1964-1971. The first year Heavy was about 55. Meaning he was about 62 when it during mvm. That means he was old enough to have grandchildren when TF2 was released. This means that heavy would have needed to be nearly 150 years old just to be within the same lifetime as Zarya.
My Headcanno is that TF2 and OW worlds/timelines, take place in the same universe, but with over 100 years appart from one another(since tf2 take place between the late 1960's and early 1970's and overwatch takes place in the lates 2070's)
Hoovys are rare creatures of peacefulness they lock sashas away in cages and never pick them up they gave up on violence hea us are powerful they are gods they are Zeus's they will kill anything they dont like on first sight without mercy there will be bothingbleft but rubble to show what happens when you aren't favorable to them but gods will always be brought to there knees hoovys stay down but zeus doesnt
share this theory lol according to Mercy's history, she "pioneered a breakthrough in the field of applied nanobiology", very much different than Medic's biological compound of piss, blood, medicine, and other unknown compounds that make up his healing beam. Mercy has also helped in the development of the biotic rifle used by Ana, which can be based on the Crusaders Crossbow, a Medic's weapon. Mercy also has a much different attitude towards harm. She follows the Hippocratic Oath of "Do No Harm", where Medic has a bust of Hippocrates that says "Do No Harm" and uses it as a blunt object. I very much doubt Medic had taught Mercy due to their big difference in ideologies, as well as being 100 years apart. If you want to make this crossover work, it would most likely be that Mercy had found the chemical algorithm that makes healing gun work, and refined it to a less piss-based design. She might have also used the Quick-Fix's ability to equate movement between its target and its base (follows targets that are either blast jumping or shield charging), and used it in the designs of the wings. This also makes works as the Quick-Fix is the first Medigun every created and is found in his laboratory.
I'm just going to point out something hilarious; Heavy being Zarya's uncle most likely means her parents are Heavy's crazy sister Zhanna... and Soldier.
Sadly, i dont think that is possible. If it were the case, then her name would be Alexandria Doe. It's more likely that she is one of the other 2 sisters Misha had, as they would've married other Russians instead of a crazy American with a bad habit of launching himself into the air with rockets and snapping necks. Or would they?
This makes me wonder, if Heavy is Zarya's uncle, then does that mean her father is Soldier? (Since it said in the tf2 comics that Soldier and Heavy's sister, Zhanna are kinda engaged..)
This is actually a crossover concept I can absolutely accept as head-canon. The well executed dubbing and sound design absolutely enhances an already well written and put together comic. *(Spoken in a gravely Russian accent)* Brings tear to eye.
Well, if Zarya is around 30, then the events would've taken place at around 2050. So heavy would be roughly over 130 years old. Which is a lot, but considering how the medic treats him, he's most likely still strong at that age.
@@theonejackal89 The announcer is actually around 150 years old herself because of Engineer's grandfather invention... if heavy has the same invention... well...
Soldier=Soldier's friend Sniper=Widowmaker's 14th ex-boyfriend Huntsman=Hanzo's mentor Engineer=Torbjörn's friend that he met in a bar Spy=Sombra's big brother Pyro=Mei's number one rival Heavy=Zarya's uncle Scout=Tracer's brother Demoman=Junkrat's dad Demo Knight=Reinhardt's great-great grandpa Medic=Mercy's asshole cousin Edit: Does anyone think they can make a backstory for the TF2 & Overwatch I have made?
Ok I guess I could make one. Years after the events of tf2 and MvM, the red team won over blue after a major battle in 2fort, and other locations of the war between the two companys. Red Mann gives all the mercenaries their pay and disbands after blu Mann's suicide. All the mercenaries decided to leave Australia to move to a country of their own. Focusing on heavy, heavy's brother made a child named Zarya, years later a overwatch member. Heavy was still having his minigun, or "Sasha" with him at his side. And so, the battle came on. Heavy was having his sandvich for breakfast, (SANDVICH MAKE HIM STROOOONNNGG) when a artillery blast sends a wall of his homestead wrecked. Heavy knew what this mean't, total war. Heavy wished to retire to his mercenary ways, but time has changed and he decided to join the fight to defeat the omnics. Fighting the Omnics among with other Russian citizens, heavy was victorious. But he knew his work wasn't done yet, the omnics were still attacking on his mother land and he needed to find his brother and his family. Heavy later found the family but the family was shortened. Having his brother dead enraged him, he would never forgive the omnics, but he promised his brother to protect his family if he were to go to a better place. Heavy lead Zarya and the wife towards the shelter and decided to fight with the soldiers on the surface. Heavy was assigned elsewhere nearby the shelter and trusted one of his soldiers to protect her niece. So then the shelter was attacked and all security from the shelter was dispatched to fight. Zarya was curious and went to the surface without her mother looking. The soldier promising to protect her said that she should've stayed there. But in a second the soldier got shot in the head infront of her face. Traumatized she was lying down the body of the soldier on her about to be detected. (The rest of the story continues on the comic, I'll add another one about scout or engineer sometime)
I hate to be the one who gets all emotional, but seeing how Team Fortress 2 could intertwine with Overwatch so well in this video... It amazed me. Not only that, but the fact that it was one of my favorite Team Fortress 2 characters. I've actually cried during this. Go ahead, laugh. 😂
Wait, in the TF2 Comics, Heavy literally bodyslamed a 40-ish ton bear with no problem, but got taken out by what essentially is Major Crits? Something is wrong here
to be fair, when facing major crits he has his team supporting him. I think Heavy understands fully well he needs his team as much as they need him. here, he's alone, and has someone to protect who can't fight back....yet. also, when did he body slam a 40 ton bear? The largest Kamchatka brown bear, the bear most likely involved in the comic you're probably referring to as it's a russian native, was recorded at 1640 pounds. that's not even 1 ton. Granted it's still about 221 kg's greater than Zarya's record lift.
yea wheres medic and the others they are alive through australium which can cause blood to refresh in other words THERE IMMORTAL GODS (especially when MEDIC CAN BRING A MAN BACK TO LIFE WITH BACKUP ORGANS) in conclusion THEY ARE GODS
remember, by the events of this, heavy would be OLD, like in his hundreds, id buy the idea that medic did something to him (and mabye the other mercs) to extend his life, but that probably wouldn't change the fact that he's most likely got the body of someone in there 70's to 80's
When Heavy came in I at first thought he was laughing. Their should be a sequel where TF2 characters train Overwatch's in a sort of flashback sequence.
scout=inspiring tracer on a treadmill solider=getting solider 76 target practice pyro=showing mei pyroland demoman= showing junkrat how to make bombs heavy= using sasha as a weight for zarya to lift engie= giving torb the sentry blueprints for improvisation medic= giving mercy a healing crash course sniper= training widow and hanzo with bow and the classic spy= giving sombra practice like making it through the enemy lines/w invisibility
Diavolo The Crimson King TM If the lore is to be believed each TF2 character has been fighting for upwards of 50 years with no signs of aging, I doubt they'd have problems lasting longer.
It can be , if you listen the Uncle said that he fight with robots long ago , not omnic but robots and he even called his minigun Sasha aaaand if you really paid attention in 3:18 in his grave there is the heavy mark , the little fist and even in the end they prefer him as "Uncle heavy". So yeah the times are different but everything points to that.
To be fair, I usually consider myself a mobile dispenser, I only pocket when I see an advantage or when I really want to get my ubercharge up a bit quicker, otherwise I'm out there fighting too. I love being a combat medic and I don't hear any complaints from any teammates in most of the matches I'm in. Meanwhile the spy was hiding from the omnics using the cloak and dagger.
Oh my gosh, I hate anyone no matter what class they are trying to solo an entire team, telling the others on their team to stay back or yelling at the medic or engineer for "not doing their job" and pocketing them or giving their lives for them. I've only seen it twice and I just sat there while he called me incompetent for not being his pocket medic and actually healing the others on the team. And there was this guy on a X10 Mario kart server who raged hard at a heavy using natascha. He kept calling the heavy a noob, and cheap. It didn't seem like anyone else was bothered by him, even the opposite team.
Scouts can be whiney little bitches, if you're gonna play scout don't expect to get pocketed. Sometimes I'll pocket soldiers, but only the ones who aren't rocket jumping everywhere, oh what's that? You got blasted mid air by a sniper or an enemy soldier and it's MY fault? I don't think so space cadet! Try blaming yourself for expecting me to follow your jump happy ass all over the map. Some people just love to complain when they know they're in the wrong.
What I like to imagine happened offscreen: **heavy out of ammo, with his leg badly hurt, kneeling in front of an omnic** Omnic: "any last words human?" Heavy: "heh. I have a few." **gets up, and starts walking towards the omnic, as said omnic starts to shoot at him** Heavy: "This map ain't big enough for the both of us" **his HP drops to 250, but he keeps walking** Heavy: "I joined this team just to kill maggots like you." **his HP drops to 200, but he keeps walking** Heavy: **Evil laugh** **his HP drops to 175, but he keeps walking, omnic taking a step back** Heavy: "They're goin' ta bury what's left of ye in a soup can!" **his HP drops to 150, but he keeps walking, omnic backing away** Heavy: "You're all about to have a real bad day!" **his HP drops to 125, but he keeps walking, omnic backing away faster** Heavy: "Ze healing is not as revarding as ze hurting." **his HP drops to 100, but he keeps walking, omnic can't back any further** Heavy: "I'm not done yet, mate, not by a long shot." **omnic stopped firing, but due to the bleed effect Heavy still looses HP, now down to 75** Heavy: "You are an amateur and a fool!" **he grabs omnic's leg and tosses it over, before climbing on it, and going up close and personal, HP at 50** Heavy: "but as my final word, I have this to say;" **punches the omnic's face, breaking it down to bits, as his HP hits 25** Heavy: "I am Heavy Weapons Guy. And this is my weapon." **heavy smiles at the destroyed omnic as his HP finally drops to 0, and he collapses victorious**
Imma take a guess on which order heavy refranced his old team either red or blue.*ahem* Scout, Soilder, Demoman, Engineer, Medic, Sniper, Spy,and lastly Heavy himself
Finally, someone that likes both TF2 and Overwatch! It's almost funny, if it weren't sad. I love that the two Russian characters from both games are family in this. It's almost fitting :D
Sykodelik Games yeah Team Fortress 2 is sort of like the grandfather of OverWatch just to me and if anyone takes that as offensive I'm sorry that's just my opinion freedom of speech
You know what valve and blizzard should make a comic together and tell how the 2 stories are connected. not like in they meet each other) but that tells the tale of how heavy is actually zyara's (sorry if i wrote that wrong) uncle, who knows maybe someone else from the team is connected to someone from overwatch. It would be great. It would work. With Australia growing weak after the australium ran out that around the omnic war thus giving a part of there land. The robots of man vs machine would also explain a portion of the omnics.
Itay Yakobowitz well, let’s look at some of the TF2 comics. Heavy is confirmed to have sisters. It is also confirmed that Soldier is currently dating one of them. If there are connections as we think here....this implies there is the possibility Heavy is her uncle, but that Soldier is her father.
May I point out that even after the first couple of rockets hit you still hear that mini-gun revving, R.I.P Heavy from TF2 you fought hard and died an honorable death :(.
To be fair rockets to heavy is not the biggest issue unless the Omnic got a Crocket on heavy if it did his last words probably would have been "random crits are fair and balanced"
After Fortress (2025 Edition) Scout: Jeremy lived a fulfilled life, he got over the woman he used to have a massive crush on and just like his mom before decided to raise kids of his own. Though the women who were the mothers never really were their for his kids, Scout like his mom worked hard for them. And by December 4th 1987, Scout had made sure that his kids were able to live healthy and successful lives. With the help of a certain frenchman. Later in the line, one of his kids' descendants would later date Lena Oxton Soldier - After the days of the gravel wars had ended and with a family he loved and held dear to his hear, Jane Doe felt whole for the first time in years. But there still lingered the want to be a soldier. So upon hearing the news that the government was looking for veterans of old wars, soldier being a "veteran" decided to join the program. In time, he soon trained the next generation of super soldiers. Which included the likes of Morrison and Reyes. Pyro: After the events of both gravel and robot wars, Pyro continued to attend Smissmass events with their team. It was the only time he could show true happiness besides burning things, but eventually Pyro would just disappear. Never been seen by the world or his team, but the stories relating to them would continue. As he could be heard even by the years that followed her time, it's possible even now their still alive. Burning everything with glee. Demoman: With the wars he fought for almost half of his life, Tavish Degroot wanted to do more for himself. And after seeing the inadequacies of his team in comparison to other explosive experts, the aged scottsman decided to change that. So, inspired by the same book that took his eye many moons ago. Demo wrote many books about the art of explosion and bombs, most were lost to time by the time the omnic wars began. But a few copies remain scattered in the winds, with one landing in the hands of one Jameson Fawks. Engineer: By the end of the wars he had fought in, and with the death of his family's longest employer. Dell Conagher decided to pick up his hobbies of inventing to a whole new level, so using what he learned from Gray Mann's robotic army. He soon started work on his own research in robotics. But sadly like his grandfather he would pass on and keep his secrets to his grave, but just like the first Conagher his secrets would be taken from his resting place. And using his work as templates, many within the modern day would come to know of many aspects. Which included Omnics. Heavy: Despite the misgrievances he had with Soldier marrying his mot youngest of sisters, Heavy Weapons or Mikhail continued to support his family. Though not as much as before but here and there as the best uncle, especially to one of his other sisters' children. One of which he grown to love, which lead to him sacrificing himself for. But as the old saying goes, "No one can kill Heavy Weapons Guy." Medic: The times after the gravel war were tough on Mr. Ludwig, with no means to invest in his experiments and his fascinations. He soon resorted to going back to his homeland for further research, but eventually his time came. Not to die, but to be trialed for his humane crimes. And thus, the poor doctor would be sentenced to an asylum for deep treatment, his research also confiscated by the German government. Some of them would be use during the Omnic crisis, while some landed in the hands of Overwatch and studies by Dr. Ziegler and Dr. O'Deorain. Sniper: With no need to hide in bushes and shoot from a far, Mr. Mundy decided that maybe it was best that he took a very long retirement from the profession. But despite this he was not out of the game just yet, as he decided to follow in one of his friends footsteps and began writing. Mostly about the art of sniping and archery from his own experience, these books would be kept in high regard. Mostly in the mercinary world, but eventually two would land in the hands of Talon and the Shimada family. Spy: Despite everything he had done throughout his life, this french rogue did not want to leave this world without making an impact in roots he had made through his son Jeremy. So he provides help when need be, even when his son had passed he still kept going with helping his grandchildren even if they didn't knew it. And by the time his death came due to lung cancer, the Spy died happy.
He probably used multiple prisons as soul farms to essentially farm devil deals (including ones that involved escaping the aforementioned prisons). Probably eventually failed, he’s a miracle worker, not God.
Incredible. I couldn't help but have a light smile and a shadow of a tear. Plus; the little Zarya's "Yes" was bloody adorable. Awesome stuff, thanks for bringing the story to life.
+AgitatedChicken plus soldier is going to be alive and extremely powerful. He took kill me come back stronger pills owned by his roommate merasmus. He could lore wise be in overwatch with no problems
Reality's Savior I'd see heavy as Zarya's (great)Grandfather because if the time. It would be cool if Zarya had a line like "I had a grandfather who was just like me."
When Zarya was running away from the omnic Heavy was fighting, she found herself in an omnic scrapyard. She knew it was bad news and tried to run but five broken omnics already detected her. All hoped seemed lost... until..... Two rockets came down from the sky and blew up two of them then suddenly, a man came down from the sky and shoved a foldable garden shovel in a third one. Zarya recognised this man. “Dad?!” She said. He smiled “It’s alright cupcake, your Dads bout to give these tin cans the American boot!”
Hey! this is a little bit random, but do you guys mind telling me where you guys found thing video? like was it through tumblr/tiwtter/reddit or what evers, I'd really like to know! please and thank you!
I was scrolling through Overwacth Zarya Comic Dubs and it was the second one that I saw. I figured I'd give it a shot and in no way was I expecting Heavy to be her uncle. Although, that would make a lot of sense. Also, I think it's awesome. :)
If Mikhail (Heavy) is Zarya’s uncle, that means that Soldier is either her other uncle or her father (depending on which of Mikhail’s sisters is Zarya’s mother).
This comic is one of the sweetest things I've seen of Zarya. It tells her story well on how the omnics took many of her people and how she grew up with a strong role model like her uncle.
You know, it warms my heart to see tf2 and overwatch getting along! Good on the maker of the comic, and good on this channel for its amazing voice work

I'm gonna bet $20 that Medic was Mercy's medical school professor, before he got tenure and lost his medical license... a second time.
Make sense to mi after all Medic have the original medic gun and can revive persons.
I'm gonna bet that Medic discovered immortality and is fabled as a crazed scientist in Switzerland's alps.
according to Mercy's history, she "pioneered a breakthrough in the field of applied nanobiology", very much different than Medic's biological compound of piss, blood, medicine, and other unknown compounds that make up his healing beam.
Aaron Tiaokhiao well Medic does have 8 souls...

Zarya: "And that is why you and I must become best friends!"
Mercy: "Um...but Zarya, I'm Swiss."
Zarya: "Swiss, German, same difference."

Heavy: "You are an amateur and a fool!"

It would be great. It would work. With Australia growing weak after the australium ran out that around the omnic war thus giving a part of there land.

Scout: Jeremy lived a fulfilled life, he got over the woman he used to have a massive crush on and just like his mom before decided to raise kids of his own. Though the women who were the mothers never really were their for his kids, Scout like his mom worked hard for them. And by December 4th 1987, Scout had made sure that his kids were able to live healthy and successful lives. With the help of a certain frenchman. Later in the line, one of his kids' descendants would later date Lena Oxton
Soldier - After the days of the gravel wars had ended and with a family he loved and held dear to his hear, Jane Doe felt whole for the first time in years.
But as the old saying goes, "No one can kill Heavy Weapons Guy."
Medic: The times after the gravel war were tough on Mr.

Tf2 heavy is Zaria uncle confirmed
indeed
On the tombstone it translates to "Misha" which means god like in Russian
Creeperboy935 It was Heavy real name, but thanks for the translation!
Creeperboy935 , hahah, nice joke
Actually it means bear
Creeperboy935 nope Misha is bear or short for Michael
ShadowPlayz , yep
When Zarya was running away from the omnic Heavy was fighting, she found herself in an omnic scrapyard. She knew it was bad news and tried to run but five broken omnics already detected her. All hoped seemed lost... until.....
Two rockets came down from the sky and blew up two of them then suddenly, a man came down from the sky and shoved a foldable garden shovel in a third one. Zarya recognised this man.
“Dad?!” She said. He smiled “It’s alright cupcake, your Dads bout to give these tin cans the American boot!”
Late reply but HELL YEAH! Soldier coming to the goddamn rescue!
Hey! this is a little bit random, but do you guys mind telling me where you guys found thing video? like was it through tumblr/tiwtter/reddit or what evers, I'd really like to know! please and thank you!
UA-cam suggestion box.
same
I was scrolling through Overwacth Zarya Comic Dubs and it was the second one that I saw. I figured I'd give it a shot and in no way was I expecting Heavy to be her uncle. Although, that would make a lot of sense. Also, I think it's awesome. :)
Chi-chi I'm subed so it showed up in my suggestions
спасибо за то что уделил внимание Заре и нашел такую душевную музыку!
I love this comic.
Zarya is not a character who gets a lot of recognition, it's nice to see a comic for her.
If Mikhail (Heavy) is Zarya’s uncle, that means that Soldier is either her other uncle or her father (depending on which of Mikhail’s sisters is Zarya’s mother).
2:12 that is the cutest yes I’ve ever heard in my life... 🥺❤️
*yis!*
SOMEONE SFM THIS NOW
"Sobbing intensifies"
Spy stop cutting those onions!!!!
I see you everywhere dude
A SPY IS CUTTING SOME ONIONS
GENJI GET BACK TO THE PAYLOAD
This is the kind of Overwatch-TF2 content I love. No toxicity. Just curiosity and respect.
This comic is one of the sweetest things I've seen of Zarya. It tells her story well on how the omnics took many of her people and how she grew up with a strong role model like her uncle.
Heavy bought shitty upgrades if he couldn't stand up against one mega bot.
well maybe the Medic was off to fight other omnic mega bot with his blautsauger and Ubersaw somewhere lol
Indeed
or he ran out of ammo
Spack Jeeka engineer didnt pootispenser here medic didnt ubercharge him and soldier didnt used buff banner
or maybe he didn't die to the one omnic but to a more epic battle.
I love how grumpy Zarya got why she heard about "Mann Vs Machine" event.
I except this head canon.
TF2 the style is very cold war - ish. The cold war was still ongoing in the 80s but when I played TF2 I thought of like the 60s or 70s though
LegosaurG remember he's good friends with the Medic who has learned to bring people back from the dead by the time MvM comes around
Not to mention Australium remember that? He could have used it to extend his life but hey it's a theory a GAME THEORY!! *theme song intensifies*
LegosaurG the Medic can bring people back from the dead with out australium By MvM
You mean accept?
Ah yes Heavy was Zara's uncle and heavy best friend is TACHANKA
You know, it warms my heart to see tf2 and overwatch getting along! Good on the maker of the comic, and good on this channel for its amazing voice work
Heavy: I’ve fought robots befo-
*flashback to Wave 666*
@@memebot4320 I feel your pain, fellow soldier. I had never seen that much red...
We’ve beaten the wave. Get to an upgrade station and prepare for the next one…
Then all you hear is "HEROES NEVER DIE!!! >:D"
still brings me to tears after all this time!
An outstanding comic
In the end, he was credit to team.
I'm not crying!
Ok, I'm crying.
Im not crying either, its-ummm...there's something in my eye, yeah
CRY SOME MORE!
Still love how even though he sounds rough after all the years he still sounds like the heavy we know & love 😢
That......makes sense actually. I cant see this as anything other than canon....
And if we make Tf2 and OverWatch canon, could that mean that Junkrats treasure is some Austrailium?
52nerfguy WOAH that would make so much sense! Perfect place, perfect circumstances!
that would explain how he can survive giant expotions
HOW HAVE NONE OF US NOTICED TAHT
Read this comic a while ago, I would LOVE if this shit was canon.
can we all agree that this was wholesome and that it makes the heavy mire human than we thought
MISHA NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Heavy no MEDIC MEDIC WHERE IS DOCTOR!
As someone who loves both games, this is simply beautiful, you did an amazing job!
SIf someone made a good SFM video of this, I would totally watch it. This deserves one its that good.
Colin Masterson guess you gave me an idea
FazNET no, just no
