You can smell the bias in this video through the damn screen Not only did they forget to add more running in a deathbattle between characters that rely on mobility, they didn't even bother to give Scout different weapons I want to see how fast can Tracer fight against a Scout with the Baby Face Blaster
To clear up some things: alot of people are not mad that scout lost, they're mad because the battle was unfair. If you're gonna put up all of tracers abilities in cannon and scouts abilities ingame then ofcourse scout is going to lose, because ingame tracer can only blink three times before waiting for a recharge. They also didn't allow the scout to use the baby face's blaster which is a weapon that at maximum potential will boost the scouts speed by 40 percent. My point being, if tracer gets to use all of her abilities, then why did the scout only get his scattergun, bat and bonk. He has way more weapons. And because i tried to be reasonable i'm going to get a heap of people on my as saying that i'm butthurt because tracer won and that i'm a tf2 fanboy and that i should go kill myself. Great.
Also, i'm dissapointed in screwattack overall because they too jumped on tf2 vs overwatch bandwagon, they're both great games and both of the are completely different apart from some small simularities. It's clear that this was only made to get more views and revenue. Too bad.
From outside look: Girl who can manipulate time will always win with guy who runs fast. Game wise, if tracer is limited to 3 blinks and recall she also has unlimited ammo. But at the same time scout will be limited to single loadout (i don't play TF2 so not sure if you can edit loadout mid match). If we go outside of game mechanics and balance then Tracer fight with Widowmaker in "Alive" cinematic far exceeds in game limitations. Btw tracer also runs faster then every other hero in Overwatch (maybe except for Lucio but he skates).

This guy has seen it all.
Don't forget that the bone he used to kill the bear was made out of egg shells. That means Scout is strong enough to kill a bear with hollow egg shells!
Dark Spike The best part is the soda doesn't actually make him invincible. It makes him so fast that anything shot at him misses. So they made him drink a soda that increases reaction time, only to slow down his movement.
11:58 tracer saying "that's not fair" as she was actively taunting scout by blinking 20 times in a row, pretty much admitting she's using cheap tactics to get a unfair advantage, just makes me laugh

Fun fact, bonk doesn't make scout invincible by making him invulnerable, it makes him dodge everything, including bullets and explosions, even when fired at point blank. So if scout can attack her during bonk he'd blitz her immesely.
Another fun fact: did you know they did use more weapons namely the Force of nature right here 11:34 Here’s the “scattergun” in the video for reference 11:12
I'm not sure how much i agree with the winner here. Firstly, as others have mentioned, Scout never really runs, and doesn't use his full arsenal. Specific weapons, such as some of his secondaries, like Mad Milk, the Winger, or Crit-a-cola weren't used when they could have made a difference in the fight. The Soda Popper, which Wiz specifically pointed out, wasn't even used. Also, no calculations were done for how impressive his durability feat might have been, or how much strength is required to send someone 80 feet away with a single swing. Not only was Scout not using his full arsenal, he also wasn't exploiting his main strength: his speed. I don't think he even double-jumped once, though compared to the other things that both he and Tracer have done, isn't too impressive, but if you're going to let Tracer use her blink, then it makes sense to give Scout his double-jump.
So...wait....Scout is one of the fastest mercs around....and all he does is stand around and use a shotgun at long range. No skirmishing with pistols, no cleavers or baseballs or ornaments, no Mad Milk, no use of his double jump to interact with the environment....meanwhile Tracer uses her Blink like it's going out of style. SCOUTS DO NOT STAND STILL. WE USE SODA POPPERS TO HOP AROUND THE MAP. WE USE BABY FACE BLASTER TO GET AN ADVANTAGE ON SPEED. WE USE THE FORCE OF NATURE FOR KNOCKBACK AND EXTRA JUMPS. But no, Scout walks around and moves stiffly. This was lazy choreography, especially considering the animation team has proven they can do high speed CQC and gunfights with Snake and Fisher.
Also I don't recall him using his double jump. It would be fun to see each other running around crazy but I feel that the researchers just decide the outcome and the animators just animate based on the notes given. Mostly an error in communication between the two teams where not enough information was given.
But then you realize that Scout is very smug; he acts proud and thinks he can handle a battle without a sweat, and that's what made him lose. It's just like what happens with some Scout players!
@Dolphin Rulez yokay and if that's their logic then...the same applies to scout? He should be able to use his full kit, and he litterally survived like 3 direct rockets. Of course he can't do that ingame because balancing. You can't argue that Tracer's abilities outside of gameplay should be considered but scout's shouldnt be. In addition to all of this; Scout litterally landed a move that *INSTANTLY KILLS ANYTHING* and tracer survives? what?
The problem is that we don't know that either of those happened at all. Their point of impact is never shown to the audience. We even see a Heavy being reduced to paste by a direct hit from only one such rocket. Unless one is willing to assume that Scout is more than three times as durable as Heavy (which we all know isn't the case), then we have to assume that Scout was able to stand up and move away from the rockets' point of impact before they detonated (the only alternative: they just flat-out missed).
It also does matter if it's a direct impact or close, as most rockets will start to explode after the metal crumples against something, giving it an initial damage of the sheer force behind the rocket ontop of the explosion being right on, of possible inside of you when it starts.
@@troodontalon5990 Did you not watch the clip? We literally get the perspective of the rockets hitting Scout directly in the face/chest, sending him flying into Medics window. Plus, he was already injured when he was hit by the rockets, which means he wasnt even at full strength.
@@goodtoaster7808 I did watch the clip. That's how I know that the rockets' point of impact was never shown at all. We see a close-up of Scout's face before he's hit, then the camera cuts again before the impact and explosion to a different perspective obscured by the hill Scout was launched over. We know that he got up and moved away because if he was hit in the face and chest while he was lying prone by rockets moving downward toward him, he would have been pushed into the ground. Instead, he was launched upward, indicating he ran and/or jumped out of the way. Again, if you're arguing this, then you're arguing Scout is more than three times as durable as Heavy, since we've seen a single one of those same rockets reduce a perfectly healthy Heavy to paste. We know Heavy is tougher than Scout and that Heavy couldn't survive a direct hit from a single rocket. What you're arguing is blatantly contradicted by TF2 lore.
Scientifically, one kick from scout could turn treycer into a plasma. His bones are the strongest substance in the universe and he is a literal gift from god

Since that's disabled, how about a response? I remember her being able to use Blink 8 times in a row. It's called the CG cutscenes. And cutscenes > gameplay.
Luigi Marroquin Scout can't carry all of them at the same time, the Halloween spells are required to have Marazmus and are only around Halloween time, and the other weapons wouldn't take care of the massive speed difference.
Are we going to ignore something nobody is mentioning? They counted Tracer's Widowmaker dodge, but they didn't count the fact that Scout was with Miss Pauling and shot a tentacle off the bread monster without even facing it first? There's NO WAY that alone doesn't equal out their reaction time! If Tracer could dodge that last bullet, Scout could've easily dodged the second Ultimate!

nothing in the animations are canon, he can survive *three* rockets in "meet the medic" but we see his head without the body in "meet the soldier". Assuming he died by one of soldier's rockets, NO WAY he could have survived three at the same time
Please stop saying that Tracer could blink more than 3 times in a row in the lore. In the tf2 lore, the engi could make over 5 sentries at once and all of the soldier's attacks were one shots, so I'm sure Scout technically has some OP unfair abilities of his own.
Another Bleach Bottle let me attent you to one issue here that is tracer main weapon (her chrono accelerator) break during her 1v1 with widowmaker and let me tell you widowmaker break that stuff just hitting tracer on the building, scout can wreck robots on MVM so that little gadget would be done really soon
3:36 that’s more of widowmaker being good at aiming, at best tracer realised she was about to get shot then tensed up. She did not dodge a bullet. Scout, however, can dodge bullets when he drinks bonk! Since it doesn’t actually make him invulnerable, just makes him fast enough to dodge literally everything. So theoretically according to gameplay he can have 12 heavies put their actual mini guns against his chest/ within one foot and he can dodge every bullet flawlessly. He’s absolutely faster in every regard.
In the animated shorts she is able to blink much more, which is what they based it on. The only reason she is limited to 3 in-game is for balancing purposes. She is actually much stronger than she is in game.
Scout's Scattergun does 108 damage at close range. For reference, Heavy has 300 health. Scout's burst damage can be absurd at times; he operates differently than Tracer due to his higher vertical mobility, more consistent movement, and extremely high burst damage. Meanwhile, Tracer's primary is automatic and does little damage compared to Scout's primaries. To be honest, Scout has more options than Tracer. Tracer argues that she has infinite ammo, while Scout does not. However, in TF2, every killed player drops an ammo pack that refills 50% of your ammo. If you fail to kill someone in under 38 shots, you have a bigger problem than ammo. Additionally, Scout runs at 9 m/s. Tracer, meanwhile, runs at 6 m/s. In terms of base speed, Scout destroys Tracer with 50% more speed. Not only that, with the Baby Face's Blaster at full boost, Scout can run at up to 11.6775 m/s. Even with Tracer's Blink ability, Scout can still outspeed her without too much difficulty. In terms of vertical mobility, Tracer is definitely lacking. She only has one jump and no additional movement options. Scout, however, can double jump. He can also make use of the Atomizer for an additional jump, as well as the Winger for 50% more jump height and the Soda Popper for another 3 midair jumps. Using the Winger and Soda Popper in conjuction, Scout can leap about 8.577 meters into the air; a sizable feat, considering that he'd be able to jump up to the third story of a building, and then some. Finally, Scout has considerably more burst damage than Tracer. Using some basic math, we can find that the average health in TF2 is 166.66, while the average health in Overwatch is 277.42; therefore, using proportions, Scout's Scattergun would deal 179.78 damage (more than enough to instantly kill Tracer, with her max health of 150). Something else to note is that, proportionally, Scout has 39% more health than Tracer. In conclusion, while Tracer does have powerful abilities, Scout's overall mobility and burst damage makes Scout better in combat. Tracer's ability to rewind time to before she took damage would not matter, as a single clean shot from Scout would kill her. Scout also has a proportionally larger health pool and a wider variety of options in combat. Tracer simply does not stack up to Scout when it comes to overall combat effectiveness. Get your facts straight, ScrewAttack. Everyone is still salty about the results, and it's been years. You showed clear bias towards Tracer by making her proficient with aim and teleportation. Scout, meanwhile, stood still and constantly missed shots. At least give the two fighters an equal skill level! Not only that, but Tracer teleported way more than 3 times in a row. After three Blinks, Tracer should be vulnerable and instantly killable. And yet, Tracer still won. Edit: I forgot that the Soda Popper's Hype ability gives you 6 jumps in total, and that you can pair it with the Winger. Fixed it! :)
Your comment is overall pretty reasonable, but both Scout and Tracer are far faster than what you said. Scout reacts to, outruns and dodges Sentry Fire in *Meet the Scout* _But how fast is gunfire in TF2?_ You can utilize meteors with a spell, meteors usually travel at Mach 25 speeds at least (www.amsmeteors.org/fireballs/faqf/) - that's 8575 m/s already. Gun Fire in TF2 is FAR faster than said meteors, even when only assuming that it's twice at fast (which is a low-ball already) it moves at Mach 50 speeds - or 17150 m/s. Tracer's easily in the Mach 2.1 / 715 m/s range, if not much higher, via dodging bullets that should generally be much faster than the ones RL humanity has access to - and bullets from a AK-47 travel at the aforementioned speed.
Also Scout is far tougher lore-wise, he tanked four rockets in *Meet the Medic* whilst already being highly injured. And no, said feat is not an outlier, despite what We-Screw-Up-Attack may have made you think.
@@abcdefg7770 While I do acknowledge that you make a fair argument about lore in the Meet the Team videos, I'm taking all of this data from the ingame stats and not in the videos. In game, Tracer can only blink three times, Sentry Guns have perfect tracking, and Scout can only take one direct rocket before dying. And no, Scout is not outrunning bullets from the Sentry Gun. The Sentry in Meet the Scout just really sucks at aiming.
@@thanosdevito Actually, I believe that Scout can only take one rocket launcher shot in-game - they deal 90hp damage according to the TF2 wiki. Even then, if you slow down the video, whilst he's running towards the Sentry Gun you'll see him running at least as fast as the bullets travel. At the end of the day, Scout still easily reacted to and outmanouvered the bullets, so his reactionary and combat speeds are far beyond Tracer's.
@@abcdefg7770 You aren't taking damage falloff due to range and splash damage. 90 damage is simply just the base damage for the Rocket Launcher; its damage can ramp up to 125% on a close-range direct hit and falloff to 50% on a long-range direct hit. I will edit my previous reply, though.

2) Cannot die to a direct-hit rocket which deals 111 HP (unless launched by a Direct Hit Rocket Launcher) unless he uses the Sandman which reduces his Max HP from 125 to 110
3) Has the precision and consistency to hit a baseball WHILE running and still stun someone
4) Can literally deal crits and heal himself in many ways
In other words, any massive damage that does not kill him will most likely just be met with Baby Face's Pistol or the Mad Milk, or just plain trolling with the Wrap Assassin or Sun-on-a-Stick, assuming Scout realizes that an overheating device is more prone to explode and is "already on fire".

If you can smell the "bias", you should take a shower and cope harder
This needs to be remade the right way. With scout as the obvious victor
Too bad.

If we go outside of game mechanics and balance then Tracer fight with Widowmaker in "Alive" cinematic far exceeds in game limitations. Btw tracer also runs faster then every other hero in Overwatch (maybe except for Lucio but he skates).

Tracer: *kills Scout*
God: _And I took it personally…_
Also, doesn't it seem pretty dumb that tracer can just take scout's bonk and scout is just TOTALLY helpless to do anything about it
i agree the fight shouldve been much more intense, tracer would still win though
recall is op
But then you realize that Scout is very smug; he acts proud and thinks he can handle a battle without a sweat, and that's what made him lose. It's just like what happens with some Scout players!
But scout has like a million weapons that gives him a bunch of attributes meanwhile tracer has two guns some bombs and teleportation.

In addition to all of this; Scout litterally landed a move that *INSTANTLY KILLS ANYTHING* and tracer survives? what?
@Dolphin Rulez ah, my bad, i thought you were arguing for tracer winning. Have a good one

“Real Name: Unknown”
HOW CAN YOU GET SOMETHING SO SIMPLE SO WRONG
This is scout if he removed his Movement Binds.
I'm no rocket scientist but I'm fairly certain that whether a rocket lands on you or right beside you makes no difference.
agree.

Please stop saying that Tracer could blink more than 3 times in a row in the lore. In the tf2 lore, the engi could make over 5 sentries at once and all of the soldier's attacks were one shots, so I'm sure Scout technically has some OP unfair abilities of his own.

I feel like this fight should be redone with all the cannon that’s been revealed in those games as of late
I rememeber tracer having only 3 dashes and not 235
I remember the scout not being able to under when using bonk.
In the animated shorts she is able to blink much more, which is what they based it on. The only reason she is limited to 3 in-game is for balancing purposes. She is actually much stronger than she is in game.
I remember scout running and gunning not standing around
+Gutted77
I remember the taunt kill of the Scout do 500 of damage and Tracer having 125 hp (I dont play Overwatch, So im probably wrong)
He can use the Sandman Taunt with the effects of the bonk at least.
Scout reacts to, outruns and dodges Sentry Fire in *Meet the Scout*
_But how fast is gunfire in TF2?_
You can utilize meteors with a spell, meteors usually travel at Mach 25 speeds at least (www.amsmeteors.org/fireballs/faqf/) - that's 8575 m/s already.
@@thanosdevito
Actually, I believe that Scout can only take one rocket launcher shot in-game - they deal 90hp damage according to the TF2 wiki.

Opponents are stunned by the size of his balls -Wiz
WE seriously need this to be review cause honestly both the characters dont even follow their own abilities.
DEATH BATTLE: the force of nature is scouts most powerful weapon
Also DEATH BATTLE: dosen't evan have him use it.
No they did use it you know where?! right here 11:34
Here’s the “scattergun” in the video for reference 11:12
@@GameIdiots69 yeah the scattergun
Not the force a nature
@@Luigi-mx5pc it is shown has the force of nature but the model is the scattergun
@@GameIdiots69 well that's kinda weird
He does show to use both the Force of Nature and the Scattergun
Realistic version: Scout constantly running while insulting tracer, and drink bout 3 cans of bonk and using his pistol and shot gun, and also winning.
there is no way scout is subdued by tracer, he only has Ms Pauling in his mind. proven by the comics
truly a loyal man
This Video: comes to the conclusion tracer would win
The comments: “We are hitting doubt levels that shouldn’t even be possible.”
No truth was ever truthed like the truth that you have truthed.
that scout wasn’t a pain in the ass to the tracer by moving like the human embodiment of a fly so imma give it a lot of doubt
@@carlthesanellama3633 if he's not whereing lime is he really at his best.

Death battle comments in a nutshell.
Why u cast a F2P as scout. Look at competitive scout mains. Those guys even make aimbotters miss.
"I fear no man, but that thing" *shows competitive scout mains* "It scares me"
TF2 scout normally: a lil op. competitive TF2 scouts: *allow me to* *introduce myself*
I actually heard with the old Baby Face Blaster stats (pre-nerf) that scout moved so fast, he *literally moved faster than his hitbox*
@@AnakinFury that was an actual thing as a sniper main it was the most infuriating thing ever although I do feel for scouts who loved the blaster because rather than fix the hitbox valve just nerfed the blaster into the near unusable state it's in now
I love how scout just after almost being blown up is just like
“As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death”
Overwatch vs tf2 will almost never be fair because the mercenaries arsenals are mostly straightforward and are all balanced around rough simplicity. A fast guy with a bat. A raging american with a bazooka. But all of the overwatch characters have really advanced and powerful tech.
E.g Reaper's never-ending supply of shotguns and Genji's funny Bury-the-Light dragon sword.
"Hey! That's not fair"
Blinks 30 times in a row
*We show them at their best potential* sounds legit
Randy Savage Canonically, she doesn't have a cooldown on her blink. She used it constantly to strafe Doomfist
Exactly
Screw attack shouldn't *screw* over their viewers by not showing and using all the _true_ facts
Caribou tracer easily blinks more than 3 times in a row in all of the animated films and shorts
"While he's got a Pistol for pin-point accuracy"
- Shows gameplay footage of missing every single shot
seriously who hired a Gibus to stand for TF2
What about the crit-a-cola that makes Scout’s weapons strike with mini-crits or the Mad Milk that heals per shot?
If the goal was to take in ALL their weapons armour and abilities you missed out on quite a few from the sandman, flying guillotine, fan-o-war, and wrap assassin to the big ones like the Baby Face’s Blaster where in its peak Scout moved so fast that he out-ran his hit box: Scout moved so fast, not in a short or comic, but in the game itself, that he out-ran bullets. Plus that taunt kill would’ve shattered that thing around traser.
When you realize that tracer will glitch because her middle thing is diasbled because it was used to control her from dissapearing from time
First of all, it's called a chronal accelerator. Second of all, when that happens, it doesn't mean it's disabled, it just means it's out of blinks.
Little did Tracer realise she was actually fighting Spy the whole time...
bruh, that's a plot twist
Plot twist scout was fighting spy
._. oh me Gerd. Or spy was fighting Spy
So that's my he had a limited arsenal!
