For those who don't know, Xeno's Paradox (Sometimes spelled Zeno's), posits that travel between two points is impossible. Imagine that you have point A and point B, and you want to go from one to the other. The paradox claims this is impossible because to reach a point, you must constantly reach the midpoint of those points. But before you reach the midpoint of A and B, you must reach the midpoint for the midpoint, and the midpoint of both of those, and the midpoint of those, and down and down for infinity. The Paradox comes from how in a mathematical void, the paradox makes mathematical sense, but in practice it is nonsense. The Paradox posits that travel is impossible, but we travel all the time, meaning it must be possible. So how is it possible to travel when you should never be able to reach anywhere beyond the endlessly small midpoints between points? The reason this all matters to Sigma is because finding the answer to this would mean travel becomes truly possible, not only possible in a metaphorical sense. As Sigma mentions in his origin video, freedom and imprisonment are both illusions that only exist because of the harness of gravity in a three-dimensional space. Take that away, and hypothetically you should be completely unbound by the universe. Sigma both knows this and has gotten a glimpse behind the curtain at what it would be like to be truly unharnessed. But his harnessing of the harness is not the same as being unharnessed. He is still bound to the universe’s laws, despite being the first person to see past the limits of the universe. Anyway, just thought it was interesting how Junkrat was the person who brought it up. Kinda implies a more learned past than he tends to let on, and a depth of character that he usually avoids showing. Something worth talking about there!

He literally says "like father like son" when eliminating winston im pretty sure he knows lmao
It's possible they had a falling out or something and that's why he said "was".
I honestly wonder what Talon’s actually doing to Sigma, because for SOMBRA, whose ENTIRE THING is manipulation to say “actually fuck that this guy doesn’t deserve it” makes me wonder
Sombra’s not above much, but whatever’s going on with Sigma is apparently crossing even her line.
Also their interactions are just adorable and I love them
Probably sees him as sick and broken. Manipulating someone who understands what is going on is one thing, potentially even a fun and deserved thing. Manipulating someone who's grasp of reality is ...threadbare at best?
Sigma gives off the same vibes my grandmother did when dimentia started hitting her hard.
"You are insane" said Moira
"LOL" said Sigma "LMAO"
As a Sigma, Cassidy and Lucio main, I love that Sigma has amazing interactions with both Cassidy and Lucio. Now I just need a fun interaction between Cassidy and Lucio and my life will be complete.
Well i think you'll be happy to know that Cassidy has a line for getting an elimination with an assist from Sigma! I heard that one after using gravitic flux, and cassidy killed one of the enemies caught in it and said "I could get used to working with Gravity Man" it was so cool xD
One you forgot to include was his nano boost voice line where he just yells "RELEASE ME" it gives me chills every time
I actually love the "Big Sis" vibes Sombra has with him.
Also, straight up asks Widowmaker out on a date.
"Can a fish that never sees the surface know its underwater?"
Why do Sigma and Zenyatta have to be so deep with their voicelines?
1:42 Sigma: **Hits Blunt**
His interaction with Lucio makes me really emotional because as someone with mental illness I use music a lot as therapy. It's extremely relatable and hits home for me.
It does help take the edge off. put something on and you can focus on what's going on instead of everything that is making noise.
I love the Soldier: 76 and Sigma interactions.
from the Soldier interactions, I get the feeling that Sigma actively...refuses to believe Talon is using him. Maybe a defense mechanism of some sorts?
Maybe it's hard for him to believe. Like one of those thjngs you refuse to believe because it would change too much.
It’s cute to see Sombra caring for Sigma.
0:44
I like to imagine that Cassidy was being sarcastic because he thought Sigma was making fun out of his whole cowboy attire being outdated, only for him to realize after Sigma's response that he genuinely thinks Cass is some sort of time traveler.
If you have Cassidy and Sigma in one team, Cassidy says "I could get used to working with Gravity man"
He’s my favorite character, love him. Also has a sense of humor apparently. Everybody except sombra make fun of him for being insane, poor guy…
Soldier, Bap and Widow are either respectful or worried for his health while he's still in Talon. His life definitely still sucks though.
I hope they explain why Sombra is so protective over Sigma. Maybe in the upcoming PVE missions? Though, my guess is that he reminds her an old Tata that helped the child Sombra. Who might got Dementia thus making his behaviors...similar to Sigma.
I think it's something along the lines of him being manipulated while essentially being extremely vulnerable. Given her background, I imagine she has a caring spot for the downtrodden and the vulnerable. When you looks at it, Sombra might be one of the more complicated characters in terms of lore.
@@KumaOso16 either that, or for her own personal interests, it’s probably good to have Sigma as youe ally, look at how she sabotaged the mission on Volskaya for her own benefit. Totally possible
@@KumaOso16 it is also very likely Sigma’s one of the very first kind people Sombra has ever met, and she realizes how genuine he is whilst being used like a garden tool
Sombra works with Talon, but she's always had her own agenda, & she's clearly just temporarily allied with them because it's convenient for her
She's bad, but she's not evil, unlike her coworkers, so it's no surprise that she wants to help an obviously vulnerable old man who is currently being exploited by said evil coworkers
Pain
8:48 One of the greatest Overwatch quotes of all time.
I love all the voice actors in this game but Sigma is waaaay above everyone else. His va is amazing
" IT THRILLS ME!"
Imagine being Zenyatta, your whole faith in the Iris, this God-like entity, all for some floating mental asylum patient to tell you he MET it.
I love sombra and sigmas dynamic, it’s like a brother and sister relationship
*grandaughter and grandpa
Reminds me a lot of Twice and Toga from my hero academia
@@polar6066 granddaughter and *senile* grandpa
siblings i know (including mine) definitely dont treat each other like that 😂
uncle and nephew
Oh nice! I was just wondering if you'd do an updated version for him. Thank you! Plus, i had never heard some of these and the "up top!" "Hm? Up where?" Between him and soldier:76 ( 3:21 ) made me laugh, reminded me of the "based? Based on what?" Joke xD
Hahahaha, that's one of my favourite interactions!
I remember killing Winston with an Accretion attack and the line “Like Father like Son” made my jaw drop
The Soldier high five quote was definitely unexpected.
It seems unlike Jack to do that at all, least of all to someone he barely knows personally.
I love his interactions with Sombra and Zenyatta, but I also like the one nobody talks about, his interactions with Cassidy. I like that Cassidy seems to like him and is always nice to him.
Also he'll also say "Not fast enough" when absorbing Tracer's pulse bomb.
I love how Sombra worries and cares for him.
I like how Lucios music blocks out the voices and the music Sigma is always hearing in his head, pretty wholesome.
I hope Sigma goes through a similar journey as Symmetra where he slowly realizes that he’s a pawn and being manipulated by Talon
Sigma is a real one, ask Widowmaker on a date, gets declined, respectfully accept the decline like a gentleman
3:03 lmao i love this interaction.
This Lucio interaction. Is that a hint towards how Overwatch is going to heal Sigma's mind?
SIGMA is my all time favorite overwatch character, so thank you for making this video and sharing :)
Always a treat when you post
Always a treat when you guys comment!
Sigma: If I work security at a Samsung company, does that make me a guardian of the Galaxy?
Sigma: Why is SpongeBob the main character and yet Patrick is the star?
Sigma: Why is it called “taking a crap” if you are leaving it?
Sigma: If you die in the living room, is it still called the living room?
Sigma: If Jesus can walk on water, does that mean he can swim on land?
Sigma: If money is the root of all evil, why do people ask for it in church?
Sigma: Why don’t your lips touch when you say “touch” but they touch when you say “separate”?
Sigma: Would Transformers have car insurance or life insurance?
Moira: I’m so fucking done
*Moira has left the game*
Sigma with the real life questions, lol
“Like father like son” after killing winston is crazyyyy
As a Sigma main, it pleases me greatly to see so much love for my favourite deranged doctor
Sigma has a very serious face and expression, then you hear his voice lines
Like wha
Imagine if it turns out that junkrat is secretly a genius
it's not very secret ahah he's super smart
I love the fact he has compliments for everyone, I love this big grandpa so much
7:46 “schoenmaker blijf bij je leest” is “shoemaker stick to your last” which means do not criticise matters outside your field of expertise; mind your own business
Everyone: *boring conversation *
Zayara: “ *i s h o o t b l a c k h o l e s a t p e o p l e I d o n ‘ t l i k e .* “
fun fact: there is no sound in space, a violin of planck length can't play music into another universe
i love sigma so much man, hes just an awkward nerd being used by evil but he’s so kind
Sigma on the Midtown map: They say the nightlife here is unlike anywhere else in the world...
I would like to leave before the sun sets.
Bro his interaction with lucio about his music was actually sad
Y’wanna know what’s even weirder: is he even a villain at this point?
The fact he is actually a sweet old guy that doesn't know who he is working for
The first time I heard the quote with Zarya at 6:20 I laughed. Idk it’s one of my top favorite voice interactions in the game and I’m surprised more ppl haven’t mentioned it 😂
when killing winston
"Like father, like son"
that is COLD
This guy is the definition of true neutral. He doesnt care for talon or overwatch. He just likes science
3:20 soldier really trying to feel young huh
I wish he had more interactions with Junkrat.
Just the madmen.
If the two were to team, they'd cause more havoc than the Omnic Crisis!
0:48
Interestingly the guy actually existed
Heinrich Hertz (1857-1894) was a German physicist.
In his honor, the unit of frequency in the International System of Units is called hertz.
I really feel bad for Sigma, at first i thought he was evil because he was in Talon but when i knew that he’s not workin for them and he’s lost his mind... it made me so sad especially knowing how they’re using him, especially Moira, but his interactions with Sombra is my favorite, since she’s in Talon mostly for herself and she knows when someone is being used and manipulated.
8:49
You can REALLY here the dramatic difference with his crazy side when getting a kill and I love that
1:38
might be a reference to "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"
Some of the questions Sigma asks are pretty thought provoking
I always find something new whenever you upload one of these! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
I adore the fact that Soldier 76, the Old Man-iest of the OW characters for the longest time, even calls Sigma "old man"
Hey how come I've never heard the interactions between tanks!
OW2 role queue:Bonjour
"DEATH HAS TRAVELED LIGHTYEARS TO TAKE YOU!"
"...I'm sorry,"
9:26 “gravity is a harness”
I miss his voice line when absorbing Pharah's ult. "Justice has embraced me!"
I genuinely miss his quotes from overwatch 1. When he absorbs Cassidy's deadeye and so smugly says 'Draw' -
5:16 Sigma must be reffering to the music bit because in general relativity the whole point is that gravity is not a force, but instead the curvuture (aka FORM) of the universe that dictates how inertial things move
1:16 There is an intriguing sense of care in Moira's voice.
its manipulation since sigma has dementia and schizophrenia
@@LaughgreatYT I say intriguing because it is out of place, it doesn't feel right.
Not a Sigma main at all but I love his character. So, fun to listen to. "WHAT IS THAT MELODY!?". I love hearing that shii
So no one gonna appreciate the fact that my man Sigma got the courage to ask widowmaker out on a date?
I love how McCree just straight up gaslighted Sigma
