Love the video
Hate the video
That Cam Am is by far the best looking and coolest sounding said by side I've heard. Thanks Roman, Andre and Tommy for the great review. Keep those videos coming TFL, you guys are awesome.
Best machine ever. Once you own one of these. A off road truck isn't necessary. I jave a ram limited with air and a can am for the of road prefect combo. Luxury on the road and payment
You should start a ATV/side by side /off road only rig auction site
My dad bought one. We just went out in the muddy swampy trails of Georgia and were absolutely COVERED! It was a blast tho.
Hands down!! That is much more capable to tackle anything! What sucks? No heat...lol...bet y'all got cold.
"It's snow issue" in 1 of those to conquer that terrain. :). This is why I keep coming back.
Just curious how episodes are assigned to the TFL Studio channel. How does this end up on fast lane truck and not on TFL off road?
Good question
Excellent question. They confuse me with their dozens of channels.
🤷♂️
Yeah I was thinking the same thing.
Who cares.. Killer content regardless of which channel it's on. Trolls wherever you go! Thanks for the entertainment! I look forward to the next video, whatever channel YOU decide to post it on...
OMG I love it every single second of this video! It make me feel like running at the store to buy a side by side and drive to the mountains! I love off roading so much! Thank you for sharing all of this with us. I hope you keep doing more videos like this one with different models and more affordable ones as well!
You guys are awesome....haven’t seen Nathan in a while hope all is well....Always love the great content and info gents!!! 👊👍🇺🇸
Proud to see a product engineered in Québec on your channel!!
looks like hella fun and i can imagine standing there taking in that view.. nice
Hand down this is one of the best channels on YT!!! I love all of your channels and content
Yess
Those side by sides are incredible, but I HATE how they aren't street legal in most places. If a Slingshot can be street legal, why not these???
The most capable X3 of all. X3 XRC: "HOLD MY BEER."
@@lorxnzoplays2270 he did not say 4 seat, go back and watch the video again...
It’s the most capable 4 seater, but you’re right the XRC would kick this things butt
Wish I could off road with you guys in AZ, between my me, my dad and my brother we have three of these CanAM turbo RRs.
You must be rich to own 3.
Once upon a time, in a far place away, there was a guy with name Roman wich had a serious and tough 4x4 channel wich I really loved. Today at this place, I see the same guy, not hungry any more, with 7 Channels of Nonsens, kind of Late Night 4x4 Show with swinging porn music in the background and its all about entertaining more and more people, insteed of keeping what it was, the best 4x4 channel ever .... R.I.P. and welcome to sad Reality.
Yup it's like watching infomercials for the newest Big-Boy toys......such a snooze-fest.
Not gonna mention the 30k price tag...
Excellent video guy's!!! Thanks Roman n Andre ☺
You guys should try aerial nomad.
That is a fantastic idea, almost forgot about that thing
go to a big mud park in the south like in louisiana y’all would have fun
Just an FYI, helmets are not required on a side by side in the state of CO, unless you are under 18...
Why take a chance
@@BullittKid08 just telling you the law, not making aspersions on people wearing helmets...
I can see you are just informing them, but I would want my skull protected by a helmet. Great comment. 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
I really enjoyed this, your content is excellent.
*I think that get Dirty is part of the fun!!!*
Dress for the dirt.
The front shocks have 22 inches of travel the rear has 24 inches. The shocks are internal by pass. Set the ride height to 17 inches. High/low speed adjustments full soft counter clockwide. Rebound on the front at 17 clicks from full open the rear at 12 clicks. Front cross over at 1.5 inches above the slider and the rear at 3 inches above the slider. This will improve your ride by 50%.
Looks like it needs bigger tires. Much bigger.
Great fun with a super machine,..but, you know, I miss Nathan's running these machines around.
How and where is he?
I'd like to see some Roxor Content.. Maybe a "long term" TFL off road test rig?
Lol, good video. Must say though, as a long time quad/SxS guy, you guys were pretty easy on that canned ham! She is way more capable than shown here. Could of hung that driver tire way higher in the air than you thought before flipping as well. They are amazing machines. Good stuff!
Great video and great SxS! But no way will I ever get out of my l, well now 2021 RZR Turbo “S” 4 Dynamix ... Just an unbelievable sick car for my desert riding and Mountain riding! It’s perfect for both!
That’s what I had always said also. I owned 2 turbo s machines, last week I traded one in for a 2022 x3 xrs. The new can am is unreal, suspension, comfort , and power, the dynamic turbo s has nothing on the new can am
Man that looks like an absolute blast!
7:46 Take it easy, Andre. It is not going to that tough like it would in Godzilla F-250
you guys live and play in an awesome part of the US!
can-am and Rotax have an interesting relationship. I don't think the client has spec'd the new motor yet.
BRP (CanAm, Skidoo, Evinrude)has owned Rotax since 1970.
I was worried about these two out playing alone until I saw Tommy in the back seat. He can't stop them from getting into trouble, but he can call 911.
I just can't get past the goofy look of the limousine edition.
I was thinking the same
I think it’s sweet
Massive Cool thanks for the change up great video
That looks so much fun..
Great video guys!
Try using low range at lower speeds. I can’t believe the belt didn’t burn up on the “articulation test”
You have no idea what you are talking about. Do you even have one?
@@morsecode5447 no, I have a Polaris xpt. It's the same concept though. Anything under 15mph you want low range.
This scenery is amazing!
Sorry guys, you took the wrong one. The 2 Seater makes the Job far better.
You guys have the coolest job ever lol
Ya need to air the tires down to 6 psi and run the sand dunes of Death Valley or Glamis.
Better to get paddle tires for the full experience.
Anyone else interested in a modern Baja Bug with these mechanicals under an old Beetle body, keeping it street legal?
There are a few out there that folks have done. They are slick
Something just seems right about this idea
Independent suspension is the next step in evolution for off road vehicles.
How much is that ride...anyone know?
My 04 Jeep Liberty could have done all of that, with heat, no truck and trailer or helmet head :p
I would still wear the helmet but the rest is spot on.
I LOVE the maverick it is so off road werthy
Great video, having the scrambler s there doing the same trail would of been even better.
Great vid. How much for this wonderful toy?
So because you towed it to the trail with the Trail Boss, this video gets uploaded to the TFL Truck channel..? And once again the Trail Boss gets about the same amount of coverage as in the other videos...
With the Can-Am X3 Turbo RR I could do the San Diego to Yukon Off-Road Mountain Line Run in only a few weeks! That back seat and rear cargo area seems to have enough room that I could put a whole months worth of food, water and gas in the back so I can stay in the back-country and NEVER have to come into town for the entire trip! Hmmm... five 80 litre Jerry Cans and LOTS of MRE's, Freeze Dried Camp Food plus Water, tents and some fishing poles and you ARE SET for your month-long pandemic bug-out!
You can STAY in the Winter Colorado and North Coast British Columbia/Alaska backcountry for a very long time with this vehicle!
For the NEXT TEST, please take this CanAm X3 and see how FAAAAAAAAR it can drive distance-wise until you completely run out of gas, with ONLY you and one passenger, a full tank plus FIVE extra 20 gallon (75 litres) Jerry Cans of Gas and some food/water/tenting/fishing/camping gear as a long-range off-road load-test!
Based upon my real-world experience and some basic math, the CanAm SHOULD be able to get about 175 miles (281 km) on one 10 gallon (37 litre) tank.
If you bring FIVE 20 gallon (75 litre) Jerry Cans along, even though that is a very heavy weight (one gallon of gas = 6.2 pounds or 2.8 kg) of 682 pounds (i.e. 110 gallons or 2500 litres of onboard fuel), the maverick SHOULD be able to take the weight of the Jerry cans and other cargo if you split the cargo into the back seat, and racks.
You normally subtract a minimum 20% distance penalty for all the weight of the driver/passenger, fuel and cargo so that SHOULD get you to around 1536 miles or around 2472 km AT THE THEORETICAL MAXIMUM possible distance if you drive at a comfortable and fuel efficient speed!
That is FARTHER than the driving distance from Los Angeles, California to Tulsa, Oklahoma (1434 miles!)
I am VERY CURIOUS as to what the actual linear distance off-road would be in the above noted off-road driving scenario!

I saw where a man walked across Antarctic by using this online company that custom made energy food. I wish I could remember the name of the company, but they customized everything for the trip. Excellent idea for the trek.
Great fun.
I wish video was more then 11 minutes long
Is that side by side shaft drive or chain drive. Suspension sure looks very similar to Arctic Cat snowmobile AWS from years ago.
I have a friend that has one of those, a two seater. It spends about half it's life in the shop. Quick and fun but not a fan of the breakdowns.
I have this exact model. They are very reliable if you spend the time to take care of them. With that being said, there are a lot of yahoos who beat the mess out of these and their rides are basically being rebuilt or upgraded whenever they aren't on the trail.
To bad all these trucks and toys these days are only for the rich...
Gotta wait for them to sell their trucks and toys then scoop in for a great deal. It’s how I landed an $80,000 rigged F-250 for nearly half the price. I’m sitting on a Can Am waiting for the same type of deal to come through.
You can buy used, or get a Polaris Ranger, Honda pioneer, etc for 1/2 the price and have a blast!
and you need a truck to tow them and a huge home to store them
@@joshc606 I have a 2020 ranger 570 full size for the farm, it was pricy to for what it is and You can get a golf cart with more options 😂 but it works good and rides smooth, I just would like a 4 seater for the family to go out and enjoy. The ranger was 10,500 with a roof and windshield, would be cool if the offered a 4 seat base model for around 12ish but 20k is to much
@@andrewsbbq
Average cross over can only tow 3500 lbs this plus a trailer large enough to put it on it gonna be pretty close to that sounds like a good way to overheat a transmission man.
Do they make an enclosed can am with heater and ac?
Windows?
You can add windows and a heater/AC unit in the aftermarket. CanAm sells a number of different windshields themselves as well as lower door inserts and plastic sealing kits.
You need to drive it like you stole it , not like a bunch of old ladies lol , just kidding, good job guys lol 😂
What happened to Nathan??
My WR250 sitting in the garage..
hold my beer:
As Nathan would say, "Can-Am don't care!"
Where’s Tommy??
Did I see an old VW Bug pass you?
I didn’t see anything to challenging in the video. But if your at all serious about talking that thing somewhere challenging. It needs a winch.
Same game for years now as far as dirt, mud, water entry, but hey Can Am, Polaris wants you to buy the mods after you spend $30K on the bare bones ride.
That's the fun part lol.
You should carry a small red flag 🚩 to immediately communicate 🛑 STOP. A second or three would have caused a flip like you said. 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
You kept talking about “off-road” but you never left the road. I could drive a 65 Pontiac up that hill.
You've got to remember that cameras do not show hills very well at all. That being said, compared to the off-roading done in my area, this is nothing as far as articulation, mud, steep angles, and trails.
Hope BPR won't abandon this brand like they did for Evinrude.
How about series defender limited vs ranger northstar limited🤔
Where is the OHV sticker registration on that machine?
Seems like you would actually learn about the vehicle before doing a video like this. Glaring mistake. It has 3 4wd settings. Trail. Trail active and Full Locker. You missed the. Last most important one
Jealous is all I can say, I want one and to be there.
Race it against the TRX!
Should have rolled it. Would have learned more.
Must be so nice living in a free state being able to ride a sxs without getting arrested
which model is this Can-am the defender?
That thing is soooooooooooo long.
These are all expensive hobbies IMHO. I wish I had the money to buy a side by side and a trailer and a pickup to pull it and I need a daily driver. I would love it for you guys to take one set of vehicles (maybe a side by side, trailer, pickup, daily driver, maybe a mobil home or not) and add up the total annual expenses either total cost or monthly payments plus ancillary annual cost. My guess is that you will be over $100,000 per year not including the actual price of every vehicle, I would find it very informative. Love you guys, love all 7 channels and I watch them all as soon as I can. Keep the vids coming and I will keep on watching. 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Andre is a better driver than Roman!
why are you wearing helmets😐
You complained about the heavy steering in four wheel drive.
Check out the Honda I-4WD system. I've owned every 4WD to AllWD system and I'm very impressed with the Honda I-4WD.
ua-cam.com/video/DzunshpPhlE/v-deo.html
No heavy steering thru corners, high speed or slow or in ruts. Seamless operation.
You can register for street use in Texas.
That can am is a lot bigger than a Honda by far
Can't drive that on a public road here in Oz
