You really need to make such a list for PCVR as well and do yourself a friggen favour and get Eye of the Temple which should be on the top ranks of that list easily. That game is so well made and simply a massive immersion beast since it doesn't use any thumbstick or button controls at all (except for getting into the menu).

This felt like a long sponsor segment. What you did in the video was probably the best choice for the community watching it but for me personally I would much rather see boots on the ground gameplay. Just one person (or more when games are multiplayer) playing the game and showing off the random moments that happen in the small amount of time its shows. Like a sneak peek into the reality rather than showcase of the B-Roll and best compiled clips.

My personal #1 game is Ancient Dungeon! It is hands down the best rougelike I’ve ever played in VR and has miles more replayability than most single-player games I’ve played on the quest. It just has such a nice feel to it that really kept me coming back even after 100%ing it. To top it all off it’s still in early access and hasn’t even gotten out of applab yet so there’s still much more content to come. I Highly recommend it

I appreciate your comment. I’ve really gotten into rogue-likes this year. I bought a switch in July after my Rift S started bugging out, and the employee recommended DeadCells. I don’t have that many hours in it, but it’s definitely one of my favorite games I’ve played in a long time. And then in October I saw DeathLoop went on sale on steam, and after being so excited for the concept when I learned about it in the summer I got it, and it is one of my favorite games as well this year. And now I’ve just replaced my rift s with a Quest 2, and I just heard about a great rogue-like I can try on it 😉

I just got my quest 2 yesterday and my top 10 list for anyone who wants variety and new games:
1.) Contractors (They have in-game standalone mods now to play maps like MW2 terminal and Rust)
    2.) Blade and Sorcery Nomad
3.) Nock (This one is archery meets rocket league in VR)
4.) Beat Saber (only if you mod it)
    5.) Pistol Whip
    6.) Holopoint (Great workout game)
7.) Pavlov Shack (Once you play contractors, pavlov seems graphically challenged on the quest. The mods for pavlov however keep it as a must have game)

    9.) Roborecall
    10.) Superhot

Just as a bit of warning... I've had the game basically since it came out and i'm still having fun to this day. But, for some reason, TWD Saints and Sinners is really buggy lately. I hopped on yesterday to have some random fun scavenging one of my favorite maps and as I engaged a group of ai in a gun fight, my shots were simply not registering, I pulled out a katana in a panic, and after 3 swings at the person's neck to try and behead them, it wasn't working. I ended up using my trusty revolver but when i looked at my gear, the katana was almost half destroyed even though none of the hits had registered. None of the other scavenging runs I did felt as buggy but they definitely didn't feel as smooth as they always do.. The game is still really fun though, this is just a minor concern, any bugs will probably be fixed in no time. Even after years of release, this game is still being worked on semi actively.
Edit: I only encountered this once but, as I was fighting a group of ai, I shot one of them in the torso and as they got up as a zombie, they started coming towards me but the animation didn't work, and it looked like they were frozen, t-posing and levitating towards me. So how much did Resolution Games pay you to put Demeo on the top of your list? 🤣
The game is riddled with fundamental issues which are disappointing. Things as simple as not being able to see health bars of enemies when hovering over them with a card. You can't see where your character was last placed when you pick them up, often leaving you with accidentally used action points after trying to place them back where they were if you decide you don't want to move. The entire board of enemies work their way towards you the entire game, making each level a game of killing the key holder and then running to the exit, which makes for extremely monotonous and boring gameplay. There's no progression system, and the only unlocks are cosmetics. Hell, they even refer to The Elven Queen as "him", which just shows how lazy they were with their voice lines when adding a new expansion. And the game is lacking replay value due to having only 2 dungeons to play (soon to be 3 on the Dec. 16th). The devs had plenty of time to find a resolution (pun intended) to these issues, unfortunately, these issues still linger 6 months after release.
I respect seeing Demeo on your list because I enjoyed it in many ways, but to label it #1 really makes me question things.

I have played every game on this list, and think Demeo is by far the most fun as well.
The amount of immersion you get from it is insane, and it has more of a social element than most of the others. Perhaps your taste is off.

The TeamBeef ports (Doom, Quake, Doom 3, LamdaVR, JKXR) are must have's on Quest 2.
Especially since you can ALL of the ported titles in a steamsale for less than the price of a single Quest 2 store game. Also most of the ports have a demo, since Doom & Quake were shareware and Jedi Knight 2 had an offical demo. The ports are so good that they easily beat your average Quest 2 release most of the time and thanks to old school optimization techniques you get an art style that is pretty rare for VR games. (I.e. using baked lightning textures to fake more complex light situations than standalone VR will be able to handle for a few years).
Also the PSP emulator on Sidequest is a blast.

Ngl The Township Tale actually sounds like a dream to me
Also idk how popular it is, but if it is popular, then you should definetly add Stride too. Any parkour fan will spend wayy too much time in it cuz it just is really fun (some half-game breaking bugs tho, but still fun)

I know I'm not the first to say it, but Walkabout Mini Golf is an amazing game, especially if you have friends to play with. The physics are very tight, the visuals are incredible, and it's all-around very fun

Would love to see a full pc best games or even better ( albeit alot more time consuming) a pc games tier list of all the games youve played on pc including even F tier ones. Thumb up this comment if other people want to see this too! :)

If you’re going to make a PCVR list, you must have Into The Radius VR. It’s the most underrated game of all time, being Alyx level of quality (imo) yet only having a small community. It creates an atmosphere unlike any other game, sometimes you’re so on edge that you get jumpscared by the wind rushing by. They just released 2.0 and I must say, it’s quite beautiful (in the way post apocalyptic wastelands are). And there’s all these little things that you can do to make you even more immersed like loading a magazine bullet by bullet, or cleaning your gun, you can even eat food out of a can with a knife, first time I did it I actually opened my mouth because I was so immersed.
Basically, stalker in VR turned up to 11 gets slept on.

Into The Radius is Alyx quality? On what metric lol? Alyx did almost everything right so getting to that level is extremely difficult and ITR doesn't get close. It's janky, pretty ugly, gives you very little sense of direction and overall needs way more polish to be anywhere near Alyx level.

@@fyre1307 That’s why I said “imo”. I have been hearing of others that have been running into bugs but on my end I’ve been completely fine. I guess it’s also a matter of taste which dictates whether one enjoys it or not. And isn’t ITR supposed to be disorienting? it’s kinda the game’s job to throw you in the deep end. Moving that aside, I won’t hate you for disliking ITR, VR quite diverse after all and everyone’s different.
