    So when the battery is isolated will the van e.g. my crosstrak receive solar power top up or does the isolater need to be on for the built in solar regulator?

      Hi Adam, battery charging is not affected by the isolation switch, the switch will only turn off all the output circuits.

    Going to put a cover over our Jayco Outback for the winter so no solar charging.
    Do I have to charge the batteries by plugging in occasionally or will it stay charged ok?

      @Danny Jones, if the isolation switch is turned on via the Jhub, output 1 will remain active to charge the Jhub tablet which is stated in the video. If you are finding that there is still a load on the battery, then you may have a “phantom” load in the system. Diesel heaters, inverters, radio or even CPAP machines can be “phantom” loads as they are direct to the battery and not seen via the Jhub/J35 system.
