I would have checked the trunk for whistlin' bungholes, spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker don'ts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or at least one single whistlin' kitty chaser.

One hell of a girl to recognize the beauty of that 57 Caddy. It was the peak of automotive elegance and a statement of what the Fabulous 50s was all about. We will never see those times again. You could build one of today's cars out of just that bumper.

Great show, thank you for giving us an insight into this season's Barret Jackson auction, which is truly a gift...Tyler if I could give you a piece of advice, you should have had someone bidding on the Darth Vader Buick GNX to give to April on your wedding day, I assure you she would be ecstatic that you would give her something so extremely meaningful to her...even if you had to sell your SLR or your Lambo for this gift...after all, what good are a room full of multi-million dollar cars with no one to share the happiness with! Just a thought, God Bless both of you, and I'm so happy for you two...I wish you a lifetime of happiness with God as your guidance!!!

TR vs Countach. So many more Testarossa built compared to Countach.
When an early TR was say, $60k years ago, the Countach was well into six figures.
The Lambo will always be worth some multiple of a comparable Testarossa. 2X - 4X IMO.
With so many great V12 Ferraris made since in relatively large numbers it may take a long time for an early single-mirror to regularly sell for over $200k.

I got a 1991 Pontiac Firefly hatchback 5 speed std in early 92.
Identical to the metro. I drove that as a daily commute to work and back.
I paid $3000 Cnd with 3500 kms on the clock. One timing belt and bakes a few times. One ait sensor. Never did the clutch. Sold it in 2008 for $1000 with 430000 kms on the clock.
Best car I ever had. Love to find another with low kms.

April obvious has great taste in black cars. I agree the 49 is better but cannot fault her choices one bit. The Buick and Cadillac she was lusting over were certainly justified. Truly beautiful cars. Joe Dirt was a whole family movie. So many people really loved it very much. Really didn't surprise me at all. It was around the birth of memes too. Of course there is always." Your my sister your my sister! I'm your sister!" So funny.

Loving you guys on this show and the variety of topics you cover. About 6 years ago I bought a GEO metro convertible at an auction. It had custom wheels and a little "Roll bar". It was actually a lot of fun to ride around in. I always wanted one of those Lincoln Blackwoods but they were either too expensive for me or had fallen into the hands of people that used them as regular trucks and were completely ragged out. There's no way I would have thought the Joe Dirt car would go for that much money but like you said, it sounds like the right guy bought it. Keep up the great content.

My first car was a brand new 4 door 1986 Chevy Sprint, later the Geo Metro, I was 17. It had a 5 speed manual with a Suzuki 3 cylinder 48hp and 57lbs torque. I drove that thing like I stole it all the time, emergency brake slides, hammer on the clutch, top speed down the freeway. Drove it for 110,000 miles and outside of a clutch and routine maintenance it always ran like a champ! I remember they had to order tires for it because it only had 12”. Later sold it to a kid down the street he totaled it in a month

The Countach/Testerossa comment was interesting to me. Having grown up in that era I think the reason the Countach brings more money is they were so over the top in their styling. The Testerossa seems to be a bit more drivable and livable as a car. For instance, in order to back up a Countach you need to open the door and sit on the sill. Also that was literally the birth of the LAMBO doors. Not to "mansplain". Ha ha. Both cars were in movies and TV shows as well as driven by celebrities but man, the Countach was the one in the posters on every kid's wall back then. The Countach is just a more artistic endeavor.

I was not around, and still young, but of driving age when my step-mother convinced him to get a new car and give the Pontiac to my step-sister, who was on drugs, and she drove it into the river while high.
