Brody, Bam Bam and the Nightmare were my favorite wrestlers that Oliver managed to. He just didn’t stay around very long in any of the territories I grew up with. Must be cause he kept going back to Florida.
I remember that he was only in the WWF(E) for just a very short time & he won the "Battle for Bam-Bam Bigelow" as a face & then suddenly he appeared on Pro Wrestling USA managing "The New Samoans" as a heel but that was only for one taping & about 4 house shows.
According to Luger he politely asked Brody in the locker room what happened. Brody said to him "its not you kid". Meaning problem with the company., Brody was infamous for this.
The most heard theory on the Brody Luger situation was that Luger was backstage before the match bragging about his about to be signed Crockett contract and it rubbed Brody wrong. Funny thing is there are several different theories or stories on what happened after the match some or that Lex ran out never be seen again. Others are Brody came back and Legra. Ask him what was going on very politely and Brody just sort of shrugged. It’s really hard to tell what happened after the fact because there were so many different theories.
Brody never really revealed why he stopped working during his match with Luger. Whatever issue he had with Luger should have been handled privately, not during the match. Very unprofessional of Brody who always wanted to do things his way.
@@PassivePortfoliosThe more I hear about Brody, the more I start to possibly believe Invader might have acted in self defense. I can’t remember what wrestler said this, but they believed Invader did defend himself because he personally saw Brody pushing the guy around over a payoff. There might be more to the story than “Invader ambushed Brody in the shower with a knife”. Who knows?
@@lodi70005 We will never know but that version of the incident fits right in with Brody's persona, if he did not get his way. Brody just did it to a guy who did not put up with his BS.
Its funny when they talk about territory cooperation. BUT if they tried doing supershow together they'd argue whose do the main event, their champions have to go over and who makes what money.
Shout out to the legendary Oliver Humperdink🔥

was he brought in to replace Captain Lou?
I don't think Oliver had anything bad to say about anybody.
He was a good guy off character. We attended the TV matches at 107 Albany and had some contact with SOH.
did you know sullivan? I loved Kevin what was he like?@@PassivePortfolios
@@PassivePortfolios I once heard he was a gourmet cook.
@@johnroy9654 He probably was, just like Ox Baker was. He always looked like he did not miss too many meals.
Big daddy dink
I'd like to party with him!
Survivor series 87 😂
Awesome!
Hump!
Isn't Sir Oliver Humpty-Doo 3rd Dead? He doesn't even look sick here.
Listening to a Has-Been on a Saturday night. God im old & boring. 2:34
Boring manager with zero charisma.
He's on the C tier list of managers along with Frenchie Martin
I found him entertaining.
But I love hearing great wrestling documentaries or shoots.
The problem with Humperdinck….There wasn’t much of a difference between him and Albano. They were essentially the same act.
His best manger era was with Kevin Sullivan family with woman and Luna vachon
