I own a pair. It really works well in a sense that it is not tiring to play for hours like with standard audio interfaces. Boss nailed it in making you forget that you are listening your bass through pair of headphone, there is a good sense of space. Standard mobile bass amp like The Phil Jones Bighead does not even compete. Can handle a low B without distortion.
I use my Boss wireless pucks with a short cable and a male/male connector - the male to male connector will tuck into most guitar strap loops and holds it fine for practice, so I don't snap the thing off. I'm super clumsy so I had to find a solution because I always bang up my instruments and if I hit the puck plugged straight in I will certainly break it and maybe what it's plugged into, so I pigtailed it.
Please take note: The Waza -Air Bass headphone transmitter will not fit in the output jack access hole on the Ibanez bass guitar. An extension is required. the transmitter is too wide and/or the hole is not wide enough.
I have a headphone amp and run my effects into that but I got the Waza Air Bass anyway. It’s great for when you want to play/practice anywhere and everywhere around the house and on the go.
I like the faces that Frank shows when playing. Awesome. Good review. About the gear: good idea. But even when you lose the virtual sound position of the amp in the room, there is a lack of an audio mix out plug. And, about 400-450€ is to much. I think 300€ would be ok.
It’s really a shame it doesn’t record. It has an App - recording to you phone should be a thing) - am I able to connect my bass with a cable to my boss effects processor and attach the doggie to the processor?
@@honeybucket The Fender Micro has some settings that are great for bass. And it’s only $90 + you can use whatever headphones you want. The Boss looks very cool but the Fender is definitely suitable for bass.

Hi there. Nice video, thanks a lot. Is it possible to listen to audio files from my phone while playing the bass line? And do you know if plug the transmitter in the headphone output of an audio interface is working?
Try Nux Mighty Plug! Does the same but with your own headphones, can stream additional audio via bluetooth and functions as a audio interface over usb for recording. And is so much cheaper!
is there really no such setup where you can connect what you hear on your headphones to your amp? Or maybe a dongle to go from phones to USB or whatnot? I mean, it would be highly useful, and it doesn't exactly sound like a physical impossibility.
I just bought a pair and the sound of the bass through the headphones is fantastic. However, I can't figure out how to hear audio (music from my iPhone) simultaneously, which I understand is possible. Everything is paired via Bluetooth and I've followed directions but still haven't been able to hear music through the headphones yet, even tho everything appears to be connected . Anyone know?
Are these different in construction to the original waza headphones? Seems like a cash grab. Bass could have just updated the original app to include bass amps and effects. Can’t wait for the acoustic and keyboard versions. :/
The drivers are likely totally retuned - possibly a different capsule entirely, and almost certainly different cavity dampening. You could probably modify your original Waza to sound similarly present in the low end, but most people wouldn't be comfortable doing that. Source: I do headphone design stuff at work
Great video as always! I love how you guys just keep digging up stuff that I'd never get the chance to audition on my own. (BTW, you need to do some Frank Itt bass face merch! His bass face is nearly as epic as his bass playing!)
474€! If you have already an amp ( with all the in’s and out’s) and a good headphones no need of this. Better spend your money on some good pedal effects

Who needs this?? Every parent of a musical child, that's who.
true
IMO, no one has a better bass face game than Frank Itt.

Sounds really good, and Frank is killing it as always. Great video.
Thanks Bass The World for creating this video so we could hear quality samples and benefit from your great review! Much appreciated :)
Dear Santa, I would like these headphones and a BasstheWorld hoodie. Thanks

That Bass face 🔥👊🏾

Frank is Rock'n it !!!!!!!!! Rock on FRANK!
Thanks for the video! Is it possible to run an app, such as Yousician, in parallel? (So have both the Bass and the app sound at the same time)
I haven’t tried, but it’s supposed to work I think
Unbelievable!
it's awesome!!!
Hi, can I use this with other app? Like youtube or online classes? I mean, for practice
Can I not just plug the transmitter at the end of my pedal chain?
You can
Can I plug it in the headphone output of my amp to be able to play with all my effect but without having a cable for my headphone ?
Hi ! Are they good to listen to music too and movies ?
Is the flat really flat? I want to use my helix tones with this.

Does it have Bluetooth to play things from the phone, like play alongs?
What a wonderful device. We are living in the future lol
This is awesome!!! I need!!!

Thank you Gregor. How does the Boss compare to the Fender Mustang Micro in terms of features and flexibility?
I'm not familiar with the Fender system
Fender's doesn't do bass so it's not really comparable.
@@honeybucket The Fender Micro has some settings that are great for bass. And it’s only $90 + you can use whatever headphones you want.

@@grizelda4526 Fender themselves said it's not designed for bass.
@@honeybucket oh it works just fine for bass. But I would love a comparison of the features and performance between the Fender and the Boss systems...

Love that stingray!!!!😍😍😍

Can you charge the transmitter while it's in use?
I guess so

You can stream audio via Bluetooth with the waza’s, they have more features and they sound so much better than the NUX imo too.
The next hot shit I'll buy. Thanks for testing
I don’t think the battery is replaceable in these headphones or the other Boss variations of the wireless format.
How do I use chorus with the apps on Tone Central?
There are folders with effect types
@@basstheworldofficial These are still very difficult to use, hard to figure out, etc.

How do I change the tempo on the drum patterns?
In the App
can the wireless plus use on ibanez sr bass?
Doesn’t fit unfortunately
How does it sound when used with a 5 or 6 string bass?
Sounds good

Do you have the Waza selected as the audio device?
Disappointing that your merch only ships to the US
And to Europe!
450 smackeroos though!
All this needs is a headphone jack mod, a socket installed so you can plug a cable in ;)
Ist schon nice, habe die kopfhörer auch, aber die waren etwas teuer. Würde sich mehr lohnen würden die 100-200 euro weniger kosten

They’re asking stupid money for it imho. Nearly €500 …wtf.
But Why?
Shut up and take my money! 😀👍🏿
omg this German English so funny
Can't see this working with a WAL bass.., I don't think the jack plug will fit in... 😞
boss audio SHIT!
it seems letterally useless
Yes, Frank
