This kit is a godsend for anyone living in a flat/apartment. Money well spent.
I agree a 100%
I used to think these were expensive. Then I got a pair for a bit of a discount on sale. After playing with them for a while I wished I hadn’t waited so long. Total game changer. Love these things and highly recommend.
It just made my day after a hard working day, to see this post and hear you jam Justin. Always a pleasure and exactly what I needed!! Thank you so much 🤙🏻
That lick at 4:49 is so sweet, great playing and video, Justin :)
I have a set and adore them. They aren’t for everyone, certainly, but if you enjoy playing quietly and being completely immersed in the sound, you’ll love them.
Definitely one of my favorite pieces of gear. Definitely the most played. It's just so convenient. I can crank my amps and I still play them most because it's so convenient.
Yeah love this bit of kit, def couldn’t live without them now, totally changed my practice time…
Very useful review! Love the use of the extra hat :)
Sounds Great. Will try
I travel at times for work. Invested in the Waza Air phones and a very small Anygig acoustic guitar.
Despite there being no pickup in the guitar the tone is still picked up by the headphones. Love it!
They're great! Had 'em for two years. Never much played my electric before, and this changed the game. The only issue I have is that they randomly start crackling, the volume fluctuates, and they lose connection a bunch. Hoping that the 1.3 firmware will help. But when they work, they're amazing!
Thank you . God bless you.
Good product! Thank you! 🌞👍
The solo at the 6th minute is awesome
Best piece of gear I've bought in years !! 😎🎸👍🏻
Beautiful playing
I have a pair of Waza Air Headphones and I love them! Worth every penny!
hi justin!! i just wanted to say thanks to you... i am about to finish your Grade 1 course
Interesting product! I agree totally that headphones can be tiring.. Anything that helps this for long sessions has to be good. So nice to hear you play guitar Justin. Really cool! 🎶🌟👍
Great video ty ty ty
I love mine. Great for travelling
These are so neat
Great Review. Thank you. I buy it
I want so much this headphones they sound great , now imagine having this headphones offered from Justin that would be amazing and if have Justin signature that is just amazing perfect . I started to play guitar arround 7 or 6 years ago when i got the 4 chords app from Justin Guitar
Behind the times Justin.. they are a game changer
Got some 'Little river band' vibes going on there👌🎸🤘🎸
These headphones + Justin Guitar app on my iPad is how I've finally practiced regularly for long enough to get callouses for the first time in my ten year ordeal of trying to stick with the guitar for long enough to actually get any progress. I feel like I'm not that many weeks away from getting over the "when does this get fun?" threshold.
So you connect to the guitar app via bluetooth?
@@billprice4209 The iPad to the headset over bluetooth, yes. Then I just adjust volume a bit to make my guitar and the practice songs blend to my preference.
@@mascot4950 Thanks, I was wondering if this would work.
Super thalaiva sema jisaab
Really cool headphones. 😎 I like the beanie head cover, reminds me of the beatnik Era in the pre 60s. Cool 😎 daddy "O". I wander what the sound of an oncoming train sounds like through does headphones. Wicked
I could use a pair !
I got the Vox Headphones, but those are nothing like these. I must get a pair. I spend a lot of time playing on my lunch breaks, at night when the house is asleep and it's not the same with normal headphones on. Brilliant. Boss is...boss...
Great demo - now fingers crossed the giveaway pair comes my way :D
I cheaped out with a Fender Mustang Micro and a pair of studio headphones instead. Lovely. Have to use wired headphones with the Micro and you can't change settings with a phone app which now a days is kinda lame but it does cost less. Cheers!
I’ve basically stopped using my Katana for practice, I just use these. Now I just need Boss to add a wireless looper/foot switch that works with these and all my practice needs fit in a drawer.
Hi
First of all brilliant playing and feel..listening to accomplished guitar players is inspiring as well as entertaining .
Just wondering if the wireless transmitter can be inserted into the output jack of an effects pedal or amp rather than a guitar?
Cool.
They are expensive, but they are KILLER.
Justin nails it. They are the quickest route to fun with electric guitar. Keep them charged and if you want to play a bit … you are golden in seconds.
The tuner stinks….
Seems the entire Waza line including these cans are just all solid gear. I have currently have 3 waza craft pedals on my board.
Just got my electric guitar. Already had a pair of Sennheiser hd650 and a Beyerdynamics DT700 ProX. Went to the music store and tried about 10 amps in combination with both headphones and all of them sounded muffled with both headphones, let alone some could even drive the HD650 properly. Then the music store guy gave me these to try, instant wow. Very expensive…but love them, aside from the very decent sound quality it’s so simple to use and makes me grab the guitar more often. *the giro-scope thingy is a gimmick and I turnerd it off altogether
HA love the 2 hats, is there any latency cheers.
Good luck everyone. Though I have a boss katana mk1 already.
That recorded tone was amazing (playing was superb obviously)
Justin, I'd like to thank you for spending my money 🙂 have to get the headphones.
Putting a hat on the virtual head was a nice touch. All that’s missing is googly eyes.
Edit: just had a terrible idea… put the headphones spinning on a turntable so it sounds like a leslie.
love the hat on the headphones....hahaha
Great review. I just wish they didn’t cost so much so I could afford them! I bet Boss would sell a ton of these if they can get the price lower
I this also good if you are using it with your home studio? I mean is it a problem when using it with audio interface?
Bought them 7 months ago...I never thought they would become my main gear other than the guitar itself. I would buy them again. No doubt. The are super useful.
And I don´t even use 15% of the options they offer. In fact, the app is just a huge pile of crap...but, I have two or three tones I like in the presets. Turn it on and practice. I don´t even use the app anymore...
Other than that....thanks a lot for all your work....For me it´s very much like the Waza-Air... I would come back to you over and over again!
Your review is spot on. These are so great when I'm in my condo in Mexico and want to play away without bothering my neighbors. The only thing that is an irritant is that when using it with the iPhone Apple Play (play along) after some time goes by, it all of a sudden the sound begins to stutter and kick in and out. You have to stop down, close out, reload and start over to get rid of that. I asked others on a FB page, and a lot of guys said it happens to them too. Boss made the excuse that it was the location of my wifi. Puhleese! I did all the moving around and repositioning I could. It's a bug and needs to be addressed.
Good night that is some amazing sounding playing!
I have a boss katana 50 Amp And a set of these and to me these Headphones are like that amp But a lot more convenient And the surround sound They produce is awesome The amp cannot sound like that😁
What kind of microphone do you have the headphones resting on?
Will these work with a keyboard instrument in addition to guitars, or is the line-level output on other types of instruments too high for the input on the Waza's transmitter? I'd like to be able to use something like this on both my keyboard and my guitar, but I couldn't find anything in the instruction manual that evens mentions keyboard instruments.
Never mind the headphones …the playing around 6 -7 minute mark was amazing .
Yes, I want to learn to play like that.
Hi. How are you recording from them please - I can see the set up but have no idea what is going on.
You said you were looking for people to give them to and you found that hard! WELL...HELLOOOOO! I'm here!🤣
I’ve had a set of these for over a year and had no idea the ear pieces came off 😅
These headphones are great, they offer guitar practice without annoying the crap out of everybody around you using an amp, even at low volumes. Mine came with a hard shell zip up case. I never knew that you could play a backing track to play along to. My only disappointment is that the model I have has loaded presets which are so bloated with gain and you are overwhelmed with parameters and affects. I only wish Boss offered a choice of Amps like Axe FX and you were able to manipulate the settings as you please.
I'm not sure I totally understand what you're saying but I do hope you're using the app to change the presets and build up the tones you like! You can actually change settings as you please!
Wow this would help alot to get not on the Nerves of my wife so much while practicing.😍🤩
For me it's way to expensive for what I need. I use the Fender Mustang micro and I'm happy with it for a quarter of price of the Boss. And I can also use it without headphone if I want
If I have the headphones a few feet away from my head, can I hear the sound if it's on full volume? I do this at home with my BOSS GT-1 effects unit, as it's quieter than using my amp, so doesn't annoy the neighbours.
The one con you didn't mention though-there appears to be no way to get audio out. You didn't explain how your false head contraption works, but I am guessing it's a way to capture the sound from the phones and get a line-out? If BOSS could add a stereo mini-jack output somewhere on the phones, that would be good. Otherwise what happens if you find just the right tone, and come up with the perfect new solo, but there is literally no way to capture it without getting a different amp?
Should have bluetooth out.
I cannot wait for this wireless technology to become somewhat affordable I’d love to try those but it’s just too rich for my blood as they are priced sadly
You got the hat on top. Hilarious.
They are nice, or so the review tells me.
But I had this need about 10 years ago to learn and keep the noise down. For the same money that these are now I purchased a Yamaha Silent Guitar (SLG 100S) and it’s the perfect tool for quiet (not annoying neighbours or family) practice or playing.
Most importantly do these headphones come complete with a bag of skill? I have two of Justin’s early beginners’ books and I’m still a beginner 8 years on. Ahh well perhaps motivation is a better thing rather than gear….?
Will the transmitter fit into a strandberg guitar input jack?
Best to check that with the Boss people themselves! | LievenDV | JustinGuitar Official Guide, Approved Teacher & Community Moderator
The price for those "amplifier" headphones is insane. I don't think it's worth the 350€ on top of the price for a Fender Mustang Micro when it comes to headphone amplifiers.
Ditch the cap, and not just the ones on the cans 😊
Why can’t I add effects like chorus I can’t turn it on
Do they fit well when the jack is on the face instead of the side?
Can’t confirm but can say that it could potentially be better off. On the side it can be a little bit of an obstacle when sitting on a sofa or whatever. I’d imagine that it works fine on front facing jacks since many popular models of guitars use it.
I use my electric for practice without an amp to keep quiet, otherwise is acoustic, I might be interested in these if can have a metronome play through them while I play ??? Can anyone confirm this?
They connect to your tablet or phone via Bluetooth. So you can play backing tracks, do lessons, and…use a metronome. It works great. I actually use Justin’s time trainer metronome when practicing with this headphone.
My only real complaint is the charge only lasts 90 minutes or so and the worst part is you can't charge them and use them at the same time.😢 While they're charging I use my katana 50.
Mary Spender said the dongle wouldn’t work with a strat style input. Is that still true?
No
So you're telling me there's no annoying cable setup involved, I can practice anywhere AND don't have to bother my neighbours?
Dang, now I have even fewer excuses not to practice...
It's probably because I'm still not fully awake but where do I enter please? Thanks.

@Jürgen Vogel Thank you, found it!
This dude looks like Norm McDonald. Even kind of sounds like him (minus the British accent)
How do I enter the giveaway?

Silly question: can I plug into the end of my pedalboard ?
Yes no problem
There's no doubt I'd be pickup my electric guitar more often over my acoustic with this, but at $600 CAD, I just can't rationalise the cost no matter how I figure it. That price is bonkers for what it is.
I mean not really, decent BT headphones are $300+ and these have tons of features on top of that base of being great BT headphones. Very reasonable asking imo
guys does these work with active fishman magnets?
The lack of line out is my only critique.
the transmitter will NOT fit into some guitars so you need to find out before you buy some ibanez models cant take the transmitter
The Waza-Air app in the App Store is not updated to Version 1.3.0!! Boss WTF 😠
if you want to play with other band members though .. non starter?
so you need a 2nd set of headphones to play backing tracks ?
No, the headphones connect to Bluetooth and the transmitter at the same time.
I recorded the headphones with special microphones, plugged into my studio, and then I'm using other headphones to hear what they sound like!
I find the Gyro to be absolutely awful. You can set it to static to have the amp in front of you and within a minute it drifts way over to the right or left. Same with stage. Starts out behind you and next thing you know it could be anywhere. Big waste of money.
Most important question: do they chug? 😅
Only like $1300
Hmm --- 'hard to give away'? I don't believe you.
There's no a bag for that price ? Ok I' m out !
Note that the competition is exclusively for European residents only. Odd that the US is not included. No surprised that Canada is excluded as is very often the case. These headphones are stupid expensive. I could buy an amazing amp for the same money. Yet another example of over inflated Roland/Boss products.
Yeah, they look bit expensive to me as well, but they are Waza and thats Come with premium. Are they Japanese made?
I am using positive grid spark but this seems even more convenient.
No fair. Can I enter in my name but give my cousin's address in Dublin?
Must be a pain for a yank to not be the center of the world for just a bit.
@@HMFons Naaaa...the US definitely isn't the center of the world...yet you are correct that some narcissistic idiots think they are.
Why is it odd that the US cannot enter. It’s more than likely the shipping costs you effing donut.
400 bucks yikes
So r u giving it for free fr ur fans n followers??
If yes let know will share my address..
Hahahaha 🤣
