      Lol 😂 I should be good after this! Just making sure I have what I need before snow is off the ground. Will be using a poplar in the next video for foundation forms!

    What is the model of your tractor and winch? Looking to get set up similarly… Thanks

      The tractor is a kioti ck3510se with hst transmission. The winch is a Wallenstein fx66 (6600 lbs of pulling force) and i believe it’s discontinued so the closest option would be the fx85(8500lbs) I think it’s the same size as the 66. If you’re gonna be doing anything bigger, or professionally I would probably recommend a little bit bigger tractor but for yourself, this tractor is great! Thanks

    Is that as high as the skidding winch will go on the 3 point? If so, you run into any ground clearance issues?

      It only mounts in one location, but the 3 point hitch will lift it maybe about 12 inches until the protective cage hits my rops. Only time I had issues getting hung up was with a heavy log that couldn’t be lifted high enough and was on hill area were it got hung up on stumps. Very rarely is it an issue.

    How did you bypass your seat shutoff switch so you can use your winch?

      I haven’t yet. I just put it in neutral and use the parking brake. Their is a 2 pin connector behind my seat that I was told I would have to make a jumper and it would bypass the switch.

      @@CentralMaineOutdoorsman yeah my dealer told me to use a paper clip but that seems pretty janky for a brand new tractor. I didn't think it would even work in neutral and parking brake so thanks for the heads up. That switch is such a pain.

    Which model of skidding winch is that?

    • @CentralMaineOutdoorsman
      @CentralMaineOutdoorsman  Рік тому +2

      It’s a Wallenstein FX66 with 6600lbs of pulling force. I believed they stopped making them. The closest model is most likely the FX85 with 8500lbs of pulling force. You can check out Wallenstein‘s website for the latest models.
