I like how Markus adds variation to the sound. Its not just one thing throughout, he mixes it up with screams/growls and cleans. Its something different. I like it.
Omg I have been a huge VoM fan for a long time, but this out does everything. The production quality is perf, and them sponce style vocals are perf. The riffs are perf. This album is perf.
I dont know what the hell it is about the guitars for the first 30 seconds or so, but holy hell that tone tugs at my SOUL. That riff has been stuck in my head for weeks now!!!

I'm going through my first round of listening to this album and i must say im impressed with what I am hearing so far, dont understand why people hate on the cleans, veil of maya still brought some cool instrumentals and the heavy parts are nice and heavy ;)
I got chills when I they put me in cryo. Carbonite freezing is a little warmer and so are sleep pods. Stasis can be rather bothersome to be honest sir.
Holy production value that shit is raw and dirty... I thought I hated this album until I smoked a bowl and gave it a chance. Jesus. The best VoM to date. I cant see how people call this "generic". I have to admit I said that when I first listened but I wasn't REALLY listening. The transitions and mixing in this shit is great and the chuggy grime still comes in to surprise you every now and then. I do have to say it is vastly different than their previous stuff, which is probably why so many old fans have a hard time accepting the new sound. It was not a subtle transition.
