Hi thank you for the video. Is the new multi tenant org working with exchange? Can we provide a user licence in one tenant the access to a cal or a mailbox in the other tenant?
Andy you are fantastic! maybe You can aswer my question: I have global admin access to two different tenats, all of them have external guest on selected in the options. But the guys from the other tenant cannot chat and call my other account via TEAMS. Only if they make a meeting. What is strange is that one guy from my office can contact the others without problems, but only him :D
Nice to hear from you you need to enable organisation communications within teams this is in the teams admin centre. For documentation check out learn.microsoft.com
Is it possible to setup an Azure Virtual Desktop for an external/guest user? I have not been successful but can for "regular" users. I don't know if AVD is supported for external/guest users. Also, thanks so much for the amazing videos!
Let us assume in this way, there is a user in some other tenant, who needs to access my resources which is in my tenant. So he just needs the application alone, so I don't need his identity. Like sending an OTP to his like that. Without creating his identity in my tenant can he able to access the application
With B2B direct connect, yes. But that is limited to Teams Shared channels. With it you can share documents in the channel. Not with B2B collaboration, which is the more flexible and useful External identities solution.
Great explanation! A big help in my studies to become an Azure Admin 😁
Great insights ✨
Thank you Andy
My pleasure!
Good primer, yet so many more questions. Hope you publish more in this area.
Great Explanition, Keep it up.
thanks for this...what's the difference between member and user?
Member is internal to the company. External is just that, a guest.

Honestly I’ve not tried but I don’t see why not. Remember you can only have 1 email though.

Unfortunatley I don't know sorry. The Microsoft Tech Forums.
Can a B2B user access a B2B tenant resources without creating an identity in B2B
Unfortunately, no, there needs to be a guest account for the user which can either be created manually or as you saw in the video synced.

An access package would be good for this, but your users would need an identity governance license. This can also be assigned to guests.
Hey Andy thanks for your effort would you please tell me which is the best tool to do Tennant to Tennant migration for mailboxes and one drive
