@@zenkaishogun9358 learning the basics is always a good way to go. Courses like MS 900, AZ 900, SC 900 are good starter courses if you’re interested in either Microsoft 365, Azure or Security. From then, on you can progress forwards with other training to essentially attain an expert level qualification. In terms of content learn.microsoft.com should be your first port of call. Then I would probably create a trial subscription in either Microsoft 365, or Microsoft Azure. A quick tip if you’re creating an Azure account. Create a Microsoft outlook account specifically for this as you will get 30 days use. You can then create another Outlook account, for another 30 days. That’s the way to practice and learn. Beyond the tech believe in yourself you can do it. It’s hard work but extremely rewarding and I wish you the very best of luck. All the best, Andy

This was an AWESOME tutorial on Active Directory. It's a lot of information so eloquently compiled, discussed and explained. I have been trying to get a handle on acquiring knowledgebase and career opportunities in Active Director because I want to morph into a Cybersecurity Analyst/Engineer role (Identity and Access Management) in the near future. working in IT support desktop engineer, on and off and my current role doesn't really require me to do anything on the AD except if users have issues with their account but that simply just to see if they're locked out or to check if they are in a group or a member of something in the company. Mostly i'll need to escalate to service helpdesk and then a system admin will do the rest.

Thanks for this! I took a few Windows Server courses 5+ years ago, but haven't really put much of it in practice other than in virtual labs. I work in school IT support and we use AD regularly, but as techs we only reset passwords and occasionally move computers between OU's. That's about as much as we work in AD so a lot of it I've forgotten over the years. Still a great refresher!

Thanks for the refresher helps to see the screens to jog the memory after being used to Azure management. Youd be surprised how many companies are still on AD I've found out recently. Yep cloud is the way to go I've just got my first cloud cert need to pick specialty.
