AWESOME RIDE! Even with the hold he didn't lose focus at all and responded very well to everything you asked him to do. Even a little tired at the end (that was a long course and the ground appeared very soft in places so kudos to you both for getting through it safely!) This horse is all heart and you make a great team. Great job!
I loved seeing the praise you gave him! It shows you really care about how much effort he's giving for you, the kindness you showed towards him was truly beautiful!
I know absolutely nothing about crosscountry since i am a showjumper but I just love how they had like 5 people straight after the course cooling down Caz and Caz looked like he was so proud of how he jumped
That was absolutely mesmerising. Caz was flowing so smoothly over everything! I hope the horse and rider who caused the holdup are both going to be OK. A propos of nothing, it's always so cool when the audio picks up the four beats of the gallop so clearly. 😄
Wonderful to watch live and GoPro! He sure looks like a long format horse and the partnership is deepening by leaps and bounds (pun intended). Way to go and have fun sj
I’m so proud of you Elisa! I’ve been following you for a couple of years and some of them were tough for you but you were amazing today! I cried when you won.
That must have thrown you off seeing that flag!! You were right in rythym and then you see that flag!! At least they stop your time. Did you make time, or were you just over? Caz was a ROCK STAR in Maryland!! He handled Cross Country so well, even after the hold. I do hope everyone was alright. As a Retired Paramedic, that is always our biggest fear at large events like this. A rider and/or horse or both getting hurt. Love from a Retired Paramedic, a S&R Dog and Handler Team Trainer and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖🇨🇦🇺🇸
Well if I could pick a ride from your yard its this boy. He just seems to eat fences for breakfast. What a ride. And horror of horrors having to stop on course. Bleurghh. Make me feel kinda sick. But epic round. Well done.
My cousin just went to a cross country and jumping show over the weekend and I watched her x country on a video, love watching your videos and seeing how trained your horses are!
The commentators said every horse that ate up this championship course should be able to go 4* next year. Is that your goal with Caz? I know you said something about hoping to make the shortlist for Paris 2024 before. So impressed by his fast development with you. He's already totally with you, no questions asked.
OMG I WENT TO THIS EVENTTT. this is at fair hill md right? If so, I went to that event o n the same day. Not sure if I saw you riding or not, but I may have. Those jumps were huge in person! As a horse back riding myself, it looks like a pretty big hike! Nice job btw!
Good job getting through soft ground and hard to keep nerves in tack when you are held up. Was everyone okay? I had to go back in the video to see if I could see that red flag.
Okay. Old school OLD horse lady here. I don't understand the ear glove mitteny thingies. Surely horses used to gallop about without them?! Are they to drown out the boringly predictable YT commentary? Or do they have special significance? Bradley have you marriaged me y'eti?
So I’ve run this horse with them and without them. He’s much more focused with them on and less worried about external noise. Every horse is different and I’ve never used them on xc until this group of horses i have but it helps to keep them relaxed and more focused.
"I'm anxious!" -Said every Eventer ever held on course ;-) Hard to be stopped like this but glad that you two didn't let it get you down. Well done!

Gosh I love this girl. A real horseman. Been following her since the Go Johnny Go days ❤❤❤ so happy to see her win this!

Well done coping with a stop like that , when you’re in the groove and all psyched up hard to power back down and go again! What a horse and rider. ❤
why did she have to stop?
@@mirandarae7335 think other rider ahead had an incident ?
This is a horse for the future. Caz is the type of horse that is needed for the path the sport is now following...
Amazing horse… one can feel his strength and power. His progress is a tribute to your talent. All I can say….. is Paris olympics…. He re ‘we’ come!
Congratulations National Champions Elisa Wallace and Renkum Corsair!
Wonderful to watch live and GoPro! He sure looks like a long format horse and the partnership is deepening by leaps and bounds (pun intended). Way to go and have fun sj
Love riding along with you--Caz just floats over the jumps. What a great string of ponies you've got there!
I’m so proud of you Elisa! I’ve been following you for a couple of years and some of them were tough for you but you were amazing today! I cried when you won.
Watched it for the first time. Great how they treat the horse after this run! I never see that before in horse sports. Thank you for so much love!
I did get to see on Renkum Corsair. You two were amazing. The course was tough today. My group walked it twice for the three star and the five star.
YES! Watched the livestream today, can't wait for SJ tomorrow! We are rooting for you Elisa!
WOW! What a great run for Kaz & Elisa. He's an amazing XC horse 🏇

Your horse would go to heaven and earth for you and vice versa. You have an amazing bond with him
I loved how you where always keeping confident! And giving him pats and saying good things to him/her!!
Congratulations on your incredible win!! Incredible cross cross ride esp with the distraction of the hold. Caz was awesome!
Just awesome - from start to (delayed!) finish! Great strong nerves you both have, and no 'fighting' to stay in control this time! Way to go!
What a team 💕 this was absolutely inspiring!
So so proud of you both. Job well done!!! Best ride ever. Happy days!! Safe rides always. 🤗🤗
Man that horse is quick on his feet, so smart!

Bloody brilliant !! What a terrific pony and awesome jockey ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
This horse is a one in a million .. love him
I loved the little pit crew at the end and all the positivity 🥰🥰
От этих видео не оторваться! Шикарная лошадь, шикарная трасса!
Great job ELISA YOU HAVE HIM WELL IN HAND SMOOTH SAILING NO TIME FAULTS THE BEST
Amazing ride. So glad you guys figured out how to get along lol.

That’s the goal for next year
love your vids they inspire me to keep going toward my dreams
Congratulations to you both ❤️ you guys were phenomenal
Wonderful round and result congrats!
the first jump😍😍😍
Awesome ride Elisa! You and Caz seem to "float" over those jumps! Thank you for sharing the experience.
Yas Lawd! Thanks, Elisa.
What a fun run to watch! You two must be in amazing shape 😂
Awesome run!!! 👏👏👏
Great ride!
What an interesting course...
Whooooo! Congratulations on the win.
This video was on me birthday lol You to do amazing and you too are doing so well!
Outstanding!!!!!!
It was such an amazing event. I’m sad that I missed you and caz out on course
This really encouraged me to do the turkey trot at school tomorrow 😊
What a ride! What a team you have become.
There were some hard lines in the course. So unfortunate about the arena exit. But an excellent effort. Congrats!
Great team you two!
Great ride he really listened especially at the hold up and looking a bit tired at the end but overall amazing ride loved the course
As a (retired) competitive athlete, a glitch in the flow of the race can end you. What the heck happened here?
Somebody fell of their horse and they needed to get an ambulance so had told hold everyone else.
Awesome 🙏🤗🐎
🤩👏 marvelous job elisa!! Very proud of you 2! Caz could do it blindfolded I think😅
Great job getting back on the run after they stopped you
Congrats on such a great ride even after a hold.
Wow. Just WOW.
your rounds were amazing this weekend!!!
Whispers of LRKY23…🤩🤩🤩
Stadium looked amazing
It’s my dream to do this someday! Good job by the way!
I’m just curious to what was the hold up for? Sounded like something happened on the course behind you. But other than that, great ride though.
A fence had to be repaired
Amazing ride! Just a Q from a curious showjumper: how did you know you had to wait a few mins to continue the course?
OMG I WENT TO THIS EVENTTT. this is at fair hill md right? If so, I went to that event o n the same day. Not sure if I saw you riding or not, but I may have. Those jumps were huge in person! As a horse back riding myself, it looks like a pretty big hike! Nice job btw!
А от у мене в житті з кінним спортом не склалось, я завжди стрибала окремо: до або після коня 🤣🤣🤣. Але коней все так само обожнюю!
I've watched a million of your videos and I've never seen anything like this where you have to stop.
How do you walk that course? It must be difficult!
Nicely done!
I was actually there yesterday and at the roller coaster jump in this video I can see myself😂 amazin* job tho
Good job getting through soft ground and hard to keep nerves in tack when you are held up. Was everyone okay? I had to go back in the video to see if I could see that red flag.
Great ride, but why did they stop you?
someone fell off and needed an ambulance. when that happens they stop all the others on the course
@@bevakathedementedraccoon ah! Thank you for letting me know, I appreciate that :). Of course, that can happen too, I didn't realize that.
@@arrienl6372 no probs, happy to help
Can someone help me understand if it says 3* but it's titled Maryland 5 star? Are there 2 divisions, like intermediate and advanced?
They call it a 5 star because it is (one of the few in the world) but they also run the 3*-long as well . Kentucky does the same (5*-L and 4*-S)
@@shelaghhall5900 ok now I get it, I thought there were 2 places but I didn't know which one besides Kentucky
what happend? y did they stop?
he is lovely! :)
Why did they stop you? Did something happen to another rider?
Can somebody explain why she needed to be hold up?
Someone fell from their horse. It is the rules all must stop until they say so to continue.
i believe a fence needed repairs, idk though
А почему их остановили на средине пути?
There was a hold on course. Something happened, so they stop all the horses on course until it's been fixed then they start again.
@@shelaghhall5900 Спасибо)
A horse and rider combination of head of them probably fell in a fence and they needed medical attention.
Why was she stopped?
Why did she have to stop? Did someone fall off or something? Someone let me know! I'm really curious.
I think so, as she said that she hopes everyone is alright
she replied to someone saying a fence needed repaired.
You are my idol I do cross country to
Ok, Western rider here. Why did they make her stop?
Someone fell, they stop everyone else on the course to give assistance/get them off the course so everyone else can go on.
At the beginning you said ‘ just listen and I’ll stay out of your way’
Good jump judge
why did you stop for
Мечта..
What happened
That’s a long track
Why did you get held up did you catch up to the evened in front of you too fast cause can sure looked like he wanted to do zoomies!
The lady tells me in the video that a rider fell.
Ahh ok that explains it than
Go for a job!!!
