Kenzo EDT Intense is the only fragrance that when i first smelled, i went ''oh wow what is that?''. Immediately hooked, never smelled such a unique fragrance, its kinda addicting. Also a compliment puller, partly due to the insane performance.
Tried the three Kenzo scents today and I totally agree with your review in terms of ranking. It was a breeze for me to rank EDP at 3rd place and went back and forth a lot between Marine and EDT Intense and finally decided to buy the EDT Intense as it was relatively stronger than the Marine. I struggle SO hard to choose one. I wanted something for the summer, I got samples for the 3 and... - Edp is my favourite, but that thing will definitely be cloying in high heat. Even above 20/25° I wouldn't wear it. It's in a tough spot, but I rarely smelled something like that. It's like meeting a bear at the bottom of the ocean. - Edt intense is long lasting but I get tired of the smell quite fast. It's funny because I do not get bored from the edp. But this actively annoys me after a while. - EDT Marine feels like it's fresher but it's still not it. Also I do not recommend to smell the 3 in a row it's super hard to distinguish them. Long story short, I feel they're almost there but not quite. I wonder in what direction they'll go next. But they're definitely on my radar now. Definitely polarising. And all 3 have excellent performance, I was very surprised by the EDT Intense cause it's an EDT. But damn it sure doesn't act like one lol
You had to smell Kenzo Tokyo back in the day. I was hoping they'd continue with that. It smells like a pine forest just after the rain. Omg the vibes were amazing!!! If you can get your hands on that, please give it a try. I recommend that for your Kenzo nose. It's hard to find as it's discontinued and those who know are selling them for crazy money. Alternatively if you can't get hold of that and can get azzaro visit, you'll get the gist of what I'm saying. 👌
marine is SO good. on my skin, a lot of the ylang ylang cuts through and smells flowery and fresh, but slightly darker than you’d expect it to be. it’s one of the most unique scents in my collection, and i got it for a bit less than most designer fragrances. it will definitely be one of my most used summer scents this year! next purchase will definitely be the edt intense based on your recommendation
Initially I liked EDP a lot but I think I came around on it and I find it a bit too dark now, and EDT intense is better as it's brighter to me but my skin absolutely destroys it and it instantly becomes a skin scent. Have not tried the new one yet, but did try other Kenzos like L'Eau and Hyper Wave, both of them are great with great smooth quality but mediocre performance even for a fresh frag by my experience. Great video!
Haven't smelled the Marine, but I prefer the EdP over the EdT intense. The EdP is almost like a combination between a blue scent and a marine, and it might me my favorite fragrance in both genres. The EdT intense is unique, but there is something in there that reminds me of pickle juice, and it makes me subconscious of wearing it in public.

Great video! I used Kenzo Homme EDP, because at a first sniff I was blown away. Although I was so impressed at first, now I can't wait to finish off the bottle. It is good smelling, but so linear and sintetic. It got boring after a while. So looks like I'm not buying this again..Cheers!
Out of all three I absolutely love EDT Intense. It's a very very unique smell, and ended up not buying it only because it can be controversial to people. So these might not be a safe choice but you definitely want check out Kenzo fragrances because they are manly, fresh and unique.
Cool video! This is a unique and awesome scent profile. Amazing performance. FYI, there's an alternative called Wajood by Lattafa. Kinda smells like the EDP and EDT intense with a middle eastern incense touch with great performance too.
I have the Edp and Marine. Edp has definitely a marine fig scent, for summer AdP Fico di Amalfi in the day and Kenzo edp in the evening/night is a perfect combo. Marine is a sweet floral y-lang y-lang bomb with a slightly salty opening, tropical vibe and perfect for a cocktail on the beach. Both are beast in term of performance
Which of them is your absolute favorite? Fico di Amalfi is a nice one.. AdP could learn a thing or two from Kenzo though when it comes to performance 😆👀👍 The blue line overall is a nice one, but the scents are not strong.

I bought Kenzo Homme Eau de Parfum last year and actually was a blind buy at which I was so happy I did! The most unique leathery aquatic I've ever tried or owned! It reminds me of sitting next to the beach on a very expensive leather couch taking in that salty ocean air!
Great breakdown, nice work 👌 I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on a Kenzo for some time, and it looks like Marine is probably the one for me - easiest and most versatile to wear, it seems.
Today I just sniff tested the EDP in perfume store in the mall, with a mind that I avoid dominant Marine and Leather notes in fragrance and I wondered how bad it would smell if those two mixed together. But surprisingly it didn't smell awful, even it was my first time sniffing marine fragrance without feeling sick. And the leather here seemed like from Suede that was still acceptable to my nose. I think this EDP belongs to those dark fragrance club with encore noire and maahir black. And I think if one day I feel like should add a dark perfume to my collection, this should be it because of its versatility.
I try all of them but i bought edt marine because it's more versatile and best smelling one. Edt intense smell better than marine edt in the opening but drydown isn't really good. And edp is too dark for me. But the performance is just god level. İt does not left your skin maan.
I have the EDT blue green one. Love its fresh slight sweet scent with aromatic depth of wood, smoke, and spices. Really love the beautiful bamboo bottle. Just ordered the EDT Intense to explore more of this line.

Nonetheless, the Kenzo range is amazing and your rankings are on point. Kenzo Intense is BEAST MODE. It smells like your skin after being in the water for a long time at beach. 🏖
I smelled the EDT Intense and didnt dislike it. I ended up going for Dior Homme Sport 2021 over it but would consider picking up Kenzo EDT Intense in future.

I've had more compliments on the intense than any other of my other blue aquatics combined it's unique interesting and works well in heat or the colder weather the edp is a projection monster and during cooler months really stands out ...great line if you have got bored of bdc dylan blue sauvage dullness
imma share my experience here my favorite of all time was old Kenzo homme night (sort of limited edition), then i bought kenzo homme EDP and it absolutely does not look like him, the one that is most similar to it is EDT intense

@@rottenrebels I have not smelled that one before. I know the original Kenzo pour Homme, they reformulated that to death, and I smelled the new EDP, and I really loved that one. It gave me enough of the old school Kenzo vibes without it smelling like paint thinner . ( the reformulation smells so sharp ) so I will buy that. They did not have the edt intense at the shop, so I have not smelled that one. So I can not compare it to the edp version or the Marine version. But I try to stay away from blind buys. I hope this answers your question 👍😁
today i treid the marine version on my left wrist and jpg le beau paradise garden on my right... they smell very simliar, i think the kenzo smellls a lil bit better better but jpg is louer and longer lasting.... wich one should i get :D:D:D help me decide it?
Very unique trio to me too, all fairly similar and obviously related but with a different twist and possibly better suited to different times of the year. Even the lightest one (Marine) is extremely strong and long-lasting!

I tried the Marine EDT and for me (a lover of freshies) it's the best one, easier to wear as it's lighter, without being weak (far from it!).

EDT intense was all coconutty for me I couldn't get anything fresh or marine...all sweet and coconutty..was really excited to try this on but boy my disappointment...
There is something I don’t like about the line, I find them cloying and I can’t use them. But I must admit the scent trail is pretty good in the air when I smell it on other people… and the performance is incredible, beast mode fragrances, specially the EDT Intense.
Depends on what you already have and what you're looking for (clones vs originals) but I think you can't go wrong with the EDT intense here. There's also the Chrome line which is versatile as heck and very cheap at discounters (the EDP is amazing for that pine note). There's also Dunhill which are stupid cheap at discounters and the quality is very good (Icon Absolute is in that Oud Wood kind of vibe). On the clone side, Frank Olivier make some cool, crazy inexpensive clone of BR540 (Pure Addiction) and Chanel Platinum Egoiste (Pure Homme) and if you're into oud, they have a clone of Dior's Oud Ispahan (Oud Touch). Hope that helps. :)
as it's coming onto the warmer weather i can thoroughly recommend Bentley silverlake if you can pick it up at a discounter.... i got 100ml for around £29 on eBay last year (nearly all from the Bentley line is very good and priced really cheap from discounters). i also avoid clone houses like lataffa and armaf as I usually end up disappointed with them and end up giving them away or binning them altogether
@rottenrebels i sprayed the EDP in my jacket November, i washed it a couple of weeks ago trying to remove the the scent but even after washing the scent is still there. So 4 months and a wash later it's still performing. And on skin I get around 16h with very good sillage for the first 4h.
@@rottenrebels it's up there with some of the strongest performers i have like sauvage elixir would rate it a 9 or 10 as i work 12 hour shifts wore it a few weeks ago and could still smell it strong off me when i got home, that's why i only go with two sprays for work as people would complain that they couldn't breathe 😂
my opinion. My brother got the darkest one for his birthday about a year ago. No ones touched it not even him, women have smelled it and hated it. I myself hate it with a passion and find it to smell like salt water fish and its not a good or a fresh scent. It fills the room and is thick. Wasted money for sure

Kenzo jungle is a nice fragrance if you haven't tried it yet, probably the most realistic cardamom fragrance
The edp is too salty right from the opening. It's a show stopper for me. The edt and edt Intense are more forgiving. Still need more try.

EDT intense was all coconutty for me I couldn't get anything fresh or marine...all sweet and coconutty..was really excited to try this on but boy my disappointment...

There is something I don’t like about the line, I find them cloying and I can’t use them. But I must admit the scent trail is pretty good in the air when I smell it on other people… and the performance is incredible, beast mode fragrances, specially the EDT Intense.
So you enjoy getting a whiff of them, but don't like wearing them 😉 Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Kenzos in this video, appreciate it! 🙏

What are your recommendations on affordable men's fragrances, everyone?
Depends on what you already have and what you're looking for (clones vs originals) but I think you can't go wrong with the EDT intense here. There's also the Chrome line which is versatile as heck and very cheap at discounters (the EDP is amazing for that pine note). There's also Dunhill which are stupid cheap at discounters and the quality is very good (Icon Absolute is in that Oud Wood kind of vibe). On the clone side, Frank Olivier make some cool, crazy inexpensive clone of BR540 (Pure Addiction) and Chanel Platinum Egoiste (Pure Homme) and if you're into oud, they have a clone of Dior's Oud Ispahan (Oud Touch). Montblanc individual Is one of the best cheap fragrances I bought in a long time.
as it's coming onto the warmer weather i can thoroughly recommend Bentley silverlake if you can pick it up at a discounter.... i got 100ml for around £29 on eBay last year (nearly all from the Bentley line is very good and priced really cheap from discounters). i also avoid clone houses like lataffa and armaf as I usually end up disappointed with them and end up giving them away or binning them altogether
marine is for me, because its so hot right here.
edp is nuclear so go easy on the sprays guys, it becomes really cloying if you spray more than 5 sprays
How would you rate the performance of the edp from 1-10?
@rottenrebels i sprayed the EDP in my jacket November, i washed it a couple of weeks ago trying to remove the the scent but even after washing the scent is still there. So 4 months and a wash later it's still performing. And on skin I get around 16h with very good sillage for the first 4h.

@@rottenrebels it's up there with some of the strongest performers i have like sauvage elixir would rate it a 9 or 10 as i work 12 hour shifts wore it a few weeks ago and could still smell it strong off me when i got home, that's why i only go with two sprays for work as people would complain that they couldn't breathe 😂
Do not buy Kenzo Homme Intense because it has been reformulated and the smell is different and it lasts for half an hour.

EDP smells like cola in the opening for two hours , intense and marine i have them both 😎

my opinion. My brother got the darkest one for his birthday about a year ago. No ones touched it not even him, women have smelled it and hated it. I myself hate it with a passion and find it to smell like salt water fish and its not a good or a fresh scent. It fills the room and is thick. Wasted money for sure
