    I have both the fixed and floating hinge models of that GF grill (it's the 144sq inch model) and really like them. I use the fixed hinge indoors. I use a $1 plastic clamp from Walmart on the front to apply a small amount of pressure to certain foods (hamburger meat mostly) to remove more grease (like a weighted meat press) and it works great.
    Cute daughter. You can get precut non-skid discs at Walmart to place on the grill's feet so she doesn't accidentally pull it of the counter. They're very cheap and that GF won't budge.
    I've had mine for years and they're both in perfect condition. Thanks for the video.

    Glad you keep cooking with your foreman grill I'm sick of seeing people stop using them.

    I comment on here 6 years ago. I know the George Foreman grill is great but you can use a stove top grill pan and get much better results. I only use my George Foreman grill for frozen burger patties and panini sandwiches nowadays. I have a cast iron grill pan that does the same thing while giving it that outdoor grill flavor and not drying it out while still draining excess fat. I’m not noting then GF grill. It still has its purpose but there’s no shame in combining it with other things

    when i use thin hambuers on teh grill its not a problem but when i use thick burgers on teh grill and cook for 10 min the grease sticks like crazy on the grill makign it hard to clean it up the cooking spray she is using might stop that from happenning as soon as the meat is done cooking i scrubed the cooking surface with 3 wet paper towels so when teh grill cools its easier to clean

    waht i do is i put the grill on top of several paper towels then when the meat is done i rub the stuck on grease with wet paper towels 3 of them so i dont get burnt then after i eat i use a very very wet paper towel with soap i scrub the cooking surface dont use a dry paper towel it can scratch the surface then i take very very wet paper towels and i rub the cooking surface which gets rid of the grease adn soap then i gently dry the grill with dry paper towels i do not rub hard with the dry paper towels do not by the sponge that comes for the grill it is garbage it will ruin the grill i had my grill for 3 years it is in mint condition the cooking surface

    That grill is HUGE! I have the small one, I would be there all day cooking all that chicken. :)I never even thought about Costco selling frozen chicken breast or cutlets, but of course they do! Are they good? What's the ingredient list look like, are there other ingredients after chicken?

    • @OperationHotMama
      @OperationHotMama  10 років тому +1

      They are delicious. I have not purchased in awhile because my family has been on a fish and bison beef kick, so I can't tell the ingredient list. What I do recall is the ingredient list is short. I did a internet search, but could not find the information.

  • @briant7953

    Great video but I would suggest for a health conscience person such as yourself to use a pump spray bottle, from pampered chef, filled with olive oil to Lube your grill. Most of those pressurized cooking oil cans have propane in them. I didn't believe it till I looked at the ingredients. I prefer to have petroleum in my car not my grill, but that's just me. Thanks again for the video.

    • @OperationHotMama
      @OperationHotMama  10 років тому

      Thanks Brian for the feedback and suggestion. You are right. This is something that I have been thinking about, lately. I will definitely make the change.

      OperationHotMama You're welcome. What model is your GF grill? I am looking at getting one but I am not sure if I should buck up and get the large one like you have or get a medium size, 6 serving, one. We are a family of 4 and my wife likes the idea of cooking a work weeks worth of chicken in one session.

    • @briant7953
      @briant7953 10 років тому

      This huge Foreman grill has its benefit of cooking all your meat in a short amount of time. With a family of 4, it would be a great kitchen gadget to have on hand.

    NO NO NO no non stick pray ruins cookware just put some oil on a paper towel and wipe it over the grill. Put a wet towel or paper towels in it when you are done cooking and it makes clean up easy peasy.
