Thank you! I needed this lesson! I am a new George Forman grill user, and I appreciate how you made your burgers. Mine will be better now than the first two times! :-)
I recall, having one of the first generation, "George Foreman" machine's which I used for a good 15 years. I could do all my indoor grilling with it. The machine was white. The plates were not removable. But I still deep cleaned the plates and collection recipient on the side. P.S. Someone just gave me a, "new generation" used black one with removable plates. Best gift ever.
I tried this and my favorite part of it was the onion mix. It gives the meat some nice flavor. Although I prefer using a little less than the whole package. Thanks for sharing this!
Great video. Mine just arrived today. I'm watching for ideas and figuring out how to work with the temperature control on mine. Excited. Your video inspired me. Can't wait.
Thanks this was a great demonstration. It was refreshingly honest how you showed it doesn't always cook evenly, and takes longer than advertised, but I don't mind flipping & shifting food around as long as I know that going in. I don't have a proper kitchen where I rent and my diet has become much less diverse since I moved here some years ago - I want to remedy that and I think one of these will help. Thanks again for the effort.
Yes and water already going down slow to start with. I keep used rinsed out empty spaghetti sauce jars with lids just for grease disposal. He will need a UA-cam video for unclogging grease clogs.
Nice to see you fully kneed the meat. Some people just make basic burger shapes & throw that on the grill. You get 'strings' which really spoil the burger. One little tip, get your hands very damp before forming the patties. It makes shaping them much easier, I'm sure the extra water helps render the fat and reduce sticking too.
thanks a lot. just got mine, and unsure, so tonight's the night! I like my burgers very thin. do they cook okay half of what you made? I appreciate you doing this
After moving into a new place and getting food poisoning due to my stove not fully cooking my burgers (30 minutes per side and I was still getting raw meat, on the highest setting), I saw this video and got a foreman grill. BEST INVESTMENT EVER!
I grilled some burgers on the goerge foreman last night. those suckers grill fast. definately keep an eye on them. Like dude said, mine were a little burnt on the top so you might want to turn over or take off sooner
I bought one for $1.50 at Goodwill !!/:) It was $2.99 with a yellow sticker and yellow stickers were half off ! I use it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack-attacks ! It fries eggs, makes paninis, grilled veggies, and of course grills meat . Yummy.
Lipton Onion Soup burgers. Hell ya!!!! I am formanizing burgers with onion powder, garlic powder and paprika right now. Grilled shrimp work great, too.
Hey dude I made your bread just change the recipe a little bit and put it on medium and wow it came out good thank you now I'm going to try to get me a burger press
I literally ran to goodwill after seeing this video. I got a GF grill with the bun warmer for 10 bucks. It was missing the drip pan, but whatever. I can shape one up using aluminum foil paper
Retrobytes yeah I know I could have gotten a newer one. I just felt like saving a few bucks. There’s still folks out there that’s paying like $60 for a fancy version that more or less does the same job. New or used, these grills are all made to last. I still have the same GF grill from when I posted this comment over 2 years ago. I literally just finished eating a burger a minute ago from the same grill while I read your comment lol. Still. Best $10 I ever spent
Putting grease down the drain is going to clog it up. Put the grease in a small can ,stuff your paper towels in it and throw it out. Or throw it down the toilet and flush. That's what I do. Just a thought. Love your videos thanks for your time.
I always use olive oil spray on my grill on both grills after each time I flip my burger, then wash with the hottest! water only with no soap on my grill, scrub food off with my fingers or plastic, to not damage the non stick grills
I noticed the drain was draining a little slow....then your poured in the grease...lol now I get it. I usually just put the grease in a cup or something, I know over time it can clog up the pipes
Be carful you can easily burn you foot in one of those
Will Jones 😂😂😂
I see what you did there with the office reference.
Micheal scott😂😂
This comment is amazing

How do you clean the plates, please?

Grease is what keeps the plumbing business booming!

Time to go to the goodwill yall they always have them people I know still got there's after having them for so long and works great.
You should probably put that grease in the trash so it doesn't clog your pipes like it did mine.
oh well tough. Let one pay for plumber bill

Look up "fatburg". It's fucked up.
No? Even if you have a garbage disposal?
eyeswideawake5 I said it before but I'll say it again, look up "fatburg" here on youtube.
Gross!! I can't even watch that. I don't dispose of fat in the sink. And now...I never will!

Good job enjoyable video you did a great job on the hamburgers thanks for explaining it all to us all your a pal God bless
Good video loved how you demonstrated the cleaning an important aspect of cooking we neglect - good sanitation!
Gonna be cooking burgers for first time on my new GF grill. As I thought, thicker burgers gonna take a little longer than what the instructions say

We want to see George Foreman's lean mean toilet flushing machine
Great Video..... Thank you for posting...

+Andy Leal sure...you can use whatever mix you like ;) thanks for viewing & commenting!!
Thanks for sharing. I've just tried that and it's good. Much better then just putting the beef on those grills.
I grilled some burgers on the goerge foreman last night. those suckers grill fast. definately keep an eye on them. Like dude said, mine were a little burnt on the top so you might want to turn over or take off sooner

You're gonna have some major plumbing problems, brother ...never pour fat down the drain
I was thinking the same thing bro.
Wonder if you can cook frozen bubba burgers. How much did it cost.
Thanks

Dont you just love George and his grills? Making burgers on mine now for dinner.Subbed and scribbed from Texas.God bless.👍
That grocery store, Tops has REALLY good ground beef!
Those look like meatballs. 😂
This video is old. But I suggest using a burger flattener so you have the same sizes -- easier to cook same temperatures.
I like watching your videos, you are very funny too!
how long do the burgers cook for on the grill, thanks!
Andy Leal depends on how you like your burgers
Good demo. Thanks
What do you do for work man? Web design?
Thanks for the video.....but can you spray none stick spray on your grill? I just got my grill last night!
Just for the 1st use only....but that's optional! (That was my 1st or 2nd time using it)
Ok thanks!!
Those burgers look mighty good... man I’m hungry now.
I've literally never seen a soda stream used before.. it's scary!! haha

Best college student investment I ever gotten. No more shitty microwave food and no more fucking around for 45 min with the oven or stove
I just picked up a another foremen grill at goodwill mine stopped as well
You are right about some cooking videos in dirty kitchens or using dirty utensils. Thanks for the video.
The George Foreman in action ! Yessirrr
Try potato buns for your burgers they are a lot softer and don't break up like normal buns
Ken G don’t tell me what to do

Forget the drip tray. Place the grill close to the sink and let it drip into the sink.

Good tip about turning and switching burgers
I wanna reach into the screen and grab a burger!
Good job!
I’m thinking the non flip method might work if you press the burgers a little into the bottom grooves before closing the lid
I'm going to try that lemon pepper and onion mix on my next burger.
looks really good
I have the foreman, now I must get a sodastreem. Cheers
I enjoyed this video
Appreciate you bruh
Easy Peasy...boom..boom..boom!!😁

Yummy burgers! I like making them thick too.

Could you replace the onion mix with bread crumbs?
