UA-cam probably blocked because of the first rule of Fight Club.
This movie glorifies criminal trash. I have tons of respect for the straight man who works hard to feed his family. Unlike these leeches.
They can carry viruses in videos watchout people!
@@ibashcommunists6847 it's not meant to glorify them lol
@@NobleRaider2747 so thats why it lionized the gangsters until the last quarter of the film. 😁
“As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster” most classic opening line to a movie ever

Paulie always moved kinda slow. But that was only because Paulie didn't have to move for anybody.

How dare you make a Goodfellas Quotes video and not include “I’m gonna go get the papers, get the papers”.
I still regret not doing it. Big mistake, great quote.
Thank u for recalling it

And also when DeNiro says " what did I tell you don't buy anything big and you walk in with a ten thousand dollar mink bring it back bring it back..get the fick out here. .

Young Robert Deniro doesn’t look young at all, maybe like ten minutes younger than he did IRL.
Rather that than that ridiculous deep fake computer junk which looks so fake. Ruined the Irishman for me.
To me Robert De Niro is like Morgan Freeman, I've always seen him in the same way. Even in Raging Bull, just a bit thinner.
@@jaygasper4853
I know, I couldn’t tell when he was younger during the entire movie. It was too much
@@kuotes618
I agree, he did look the same my entire life even…
@@jaygasper4853 has to watch it 3 times for me to really enjoy that movie
Scorsese really made Henry Hill something in the film. In real life he seemed a gibbering mess
seems that way.
Thats the result of drugs and alcoholism. Turns your brain into mush.
I really like the way he pictured him in the film!
Lose your edge eventually gotta have a balance to the madness like Bateman in American Psycho absolute maniac but took care of himself
Henry told Ray Liotta, "Thanks for not making me look like an asshole."
To this Ray Liotta responds, "Did you watch the same movie?"
As far back as I can remember I always wanted to have the makings of a varsity athlete
I tell you one thing though, you never had the makings of a varsity athlete.
one dog looks this way
the other one is looking that way
and the guy is like "whaddya want from me"
Love this one!
One goes east one goes west, so what?
Kinda looks like someone we know
Imagine going to a museum with Tommy
Mona Lisa: And this lady is like Whaddya want from me?
American Gothic: And these guys are like Whaddya want from me?
Starry Night: The moon shines this way, the stars shine that way
And the sky is like Whaddya want from me?
Rest in piece Ray 💔😭
😓
Would have been great to meet him 😒
One of the best movies of all time 😁💯
My bedroom poster agree
For those or us that grew up with those Goodfellas .AT least in my experience ,those gangsters never would jeopardize kids , kept their business secret. Believe it or not that's why the real mob wanted to no part of drugs . Mostly because of the penalties , jail time .And they didn't want kids to get fucked up on drugs .Just like any sports team though they always needed to recruit younger guys to ensure the survival of the mob . The soundtrack is also so very awesome as well !! As the youngest of 8 kids . The progression of the music through the 50s , 60s , into the 70s is so very accurate , real . I can still remember where I was when the news of the Lufthansa heist took place ..Incredible movie ...
Along with Casino.
RIP Ray Liotta
Best dam actor!
Forever our favorite gangster 😭
"As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster, so I could snitch on everybody"
Oh, shit. The painting represents Henry. The murder has split him and doesn't know which way to go while the old man is a metaphor for him not wanting to die young in a hit.
Never saw it that way. You're great man!
Docta Melphi ova heah.
I was on my way home from work and got to watch them film scenes in front of young Henry's house, and the cab stand! It's amazing how they made a location in Astoria look like 1950's Brooklyn!
Good saved memory. I'd Love to be there.

That was Martin Scorsese,s mum who played Tommy's mum..
One of the greatest movies ever made
Every scene in this movie is full of great quotes
Ray liotta was never better
Because no director is as good as Scorsese
He was great as Tommy Vercetti
I´ve met several " Real Gangsters ", and like the ones in Goodfellas, they`ve gotten the concepts " Respect "and " Fear " all mixed up. No one respects a gangster............you fear them, cause they killers. Respect is something that you earn, it`s not something you just get !!!!!!
Tell that to gangster fans. Earning respects is hard works and required strength of characters. The real gangsters are the ones getting profited off someone' s else miseries and the people who fantasize about their integrity ignored that part.
@@Account.for.Comment Well you know...............Gangsters are stupid and violent. Have you seen " A Bronx Tale " with Robert De Niro and Chazz Palminteri ?? Robert De Niros son in the movie, is working for some gangsters, in their coffeeshop, and is getting " seduced " by the money and lifestyle they have, and so Robert De Niro goes to get him out. They argue in the streets, and the son says " The working man is a sucker ". Robert De Niro slaps him, and says " It don`t take much strength to pull a trigger, but try getting up every morning, day after day, and work for a living, they lets see him try that.....then we`ll see who`s the real tough guy, the working man is the tough guy, your father is the tough guy " . He`s trying to teach his son the difference between " Respect " and " Fear ", and it`s a beautiful scene. Take care Account for Comment.
@@onkelmarvin8360 Not all gangsters are stupid, but the wannabes certainly are. A lawyer with a briefcase can steal more than 100 men with a gun, and get to live with impugnity. But it required patience, hard works and intellect. Instead, they went for the high risk, lower reward option.
@@Account.for.Comment Yeah it`s sad, that we`re surrounded by criminals on all sides.
