It was a lot of fun :) These sorts of combined arms events with lots of different sizes of ship are always a blast. I saw the bubble up for the landing site and figured that was where the end event would be so I built a forward base instead of the carrier I was going to build. I'm half way through moving the ASI fleet over there and then Shay mentions that there is more than one landing site lol. Fortunately I happened across the correct one by dumb luck. It's handy to see how the various ships worked out. Like the Bodkin being able to fly on one tank as designed. Unfortunately it looks like 2 of the daggers met grisly ends detonating on the base. To be fair they are not really designed for this kind of assault on heavy fortifications. I just ran low on time so I picked some designs that were quick to print. Love all the harkonan ships buzzing around and the star trek and 40k ships. The time lapse of pew pew noises with drifters falling out of the sky like flies was a nice touch lol. It also shows how much punishment BBC took from the base, geez.
Very fun season, mmost exciting one yet, shoutout to ASI for carrying this event tho and setting up the base, wouldnt have gone as smoothly without it. (Appreciate the closeup at 0:15 :) aswell)
wow what a battle great work form the team and Arron this community is one of the oldest ones in SE im glad its still alive after so many years :D question tho are you working on implementing something with the new update or its still in the works for now???
I’ve gotta ask, how well do you think the drones work? I have tried on numerous occasions to make them work but have never managed it, the AI always seems to bug out
lsg has a discord where there are instructions on how to join, either have to be active in server enought to get a free entry or pay about 5 eur per month (hella worth tho)
I wonder if they'll fix the garbage simspeed performance issues come SE2. For anyone who doesn't get lost in the lego building this game is such a hard sell for many reasons. The whole game reduced to crawling whenever under a little bit of strain is among the big ones. I want SE2 to be more popular and rich to explore than Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous combined but I don't think KSH is up to the task.
eh, if one of my Dreadnaughts were there it wouldent be a match, .78 kilometres long, average of 80 guns, usually a spinal mounted superweapon, wave motion drives for power, itd be a party
They are moderated events. The admin spawn in stuff to match what the players are bringing to the party. If your ship was there then you'd be fighting a LOT more stuff at once. That said there are ship construction limits so that one person doesn't just bring the server to its knees with their stuff.
theres also like a lot of limits when it comes to size thrust and weaponry (on avrg about 15 guns per grid, 7 hydrogen thrusters per grid) so you couldnt even build it legally :)

i think its the gold skin , theres a silver one too if i not mistaken
That would be RetroFuture with a gold like RGB setting
Retrofuture armour skin and yellow works great. There is also a gold skin from the economy dlc.
