The ASI "carrier" is a repair frigate from homeworld, cant remember if it was 1 or 2 but i know that design. Hell all their ship designs are homeworld inspired.
Just realised MOP's base is a sort of recreation of Watchpoint Alpha from Armoured Core Six! The NEPENTHES at the bottom is what made it clear, that's so cool!
The RAB one is truly special, creating monolithic shapes in space engineers that actually look good is probs the most difficult thing to achieve and all whilst keeping things functional and just a nod to a Dune vibe, but still enough originality, its just unmatched. Best build I've ever seen in the game. (That reimagined ornithopter...)
I wonder if the imperator Titan is Aquila Ignis after it was destroyed by the eruption of Magma City (read the book Mechanicum for more details), reclaimed and repurposed as a Marine Fortress.
If you're wondering about my weird alien stuff, that's from an asteroid that was placed and edited in the world file. All my stuff is just build around it.
Not really, most of my stuff is made for my personal use and includes a lot of designs that are 'grown' off the wrecked and destroyed ships of others that I wouldn't be comfortable sharing without their permission. As for my bases, they are pretty much all made specifically for the terrain their in, and wouldn't look good anywhere else.

I cannot for the life of me find a server with even half of this going on that isnt running like complete dog poo. Sim speed is alwaaaaaays so slooooow, along with other gameplay issues. Quite a number of months ago, i was playing on the most populated server you could get on xbox and the owners constantly blamed server providers but even when they went to self hosting it was running bad. Is there no way around this unless the admins are constantly at work cleaning stuff up?
They have automated cleanup that removes anything without a beacon periodically. As well as active admins running around looking for issues. And there are block and grid limits to keep a cap on what each faction can build. And because it's a whitelisted server anyone that keeps building stuff that breaks the server can be booted if absolutely needed.
ASI scares me, i haven't gone public with a faction ive been building for 2 years know as the ISU or "InterStellar workers United" and everything from the colors schemes to the industrial themes is very similar and i swear i feel like thay used the same references ive been basing my ships on. In short its freaky how similar our factions are but ultimately its a coincidence and cant be helped, ive curated my build style since the console release and im not changing it now lol.

The NOD base/ships are 40k chaos inspired , inside a Emperor class titan.
Oblivion is the Tom Cruise movie mentioned, with the spherical drones. They'd look more menacing with the skulls.
