You answered all of my questions to make the perfect cheesesteak sandwich!
Thanks for the video!
So glad these videos are back!!!
So are we Rob!
Man, what a great video! That was flat out fun to watch! I love my Camp Chef SG24, but it’s tough to do a real Philly on!
Glad you enjoyed it!
In Philadelphia it’s provolone or American. Cheese Wiz is for kids and tourists. Some places use mozzarella in pizza steaks with tomato sauce
Try some cream cheese. It will change your life.
I love making Philly cheesesteaks with onions and peppers
My friend seth and I once went to Reading Terminal Markey in Philly and snagged a great cheesesteak with cream cheese
My favorite cheesesteak: Thin sliced ribeye, onion, pepper, mushroom, provolone cheese served on a baguette.
The cream cheese will make an appearance in the future. That looked amazing.
It was really so good! You will have to try it!
The place that Anthony Bourdain said had the best cheesesteak has onions that are carmelized and thats what makes their sandwich
He is definitely on to something!
Throw the roll open side down on the meat and cheese for a bit before scooping everything up into it. It will steam the bun and give more flavor to the bread.
We wanted to see the melty cheese on top, but that is a good point!
Man.....now thats research for all mankind....Im down...very very well done
From the Legend himself! This means a lot!!! Thank you!
hey I go cheap, I use shaved beef steak in a skillet with salt and pepper then deglaze the skillet with some melted garlic butter until it turns to brown garlic butter that then becomes my sauce
That sounds awesome!!
Now that’s a cheesesteak. Go Bills!
Go Bills!
As a native, nothing is classic about whiz on a steak
No white American!? Shoulda had that one in the mix. Gouda / cream cheese sounds ridiculous though, gonna have to give that a shot. Also, get those peppers outta there! They overpower the taste!
Pure blasphemy!!!
How is that?
@@campchef Green Peppers? No Cooper Sharp? No Long Hots? Other fabrications of a Philly Cheesesteak are just pure disrespect to an actual Philly Cheesesteak. Just call it what it really is...A Steak and Cheese sandwich, not a Philly.
@@MikeG_FL The beautiful thing is, you can make it that way! I can make mine like this!
😂
I make about 100 philly cheese steaks a week at my wonderful Benny Blanco's Pizza in Denver Colorado. Come on down and I'll make you a great one! 🥖🧀🥩🫑🧅🍄🧄
Heck yes! Did we get it right?
No complaints here! 🤤🥖🥩🧀 wish I could sample some of yours!
..our recipe is grilled sautéed onion, mushroom, green pepper & minced garlic, thin sliced ribeye, THEN after cheese melts, we toast in the pizza oven for a thin crisp layer of top cheese and still tender meat n cheese center.
@@anthonychihuahua Oh that is a great idea!!! May have to steal that.
@@campchef I would look forward to seeing that on the campchef channel! Great job, guys!
@@anthonychihuahua what kind of cheese do you use?
