I would like to see the difference between the stinger set up and the power pack both on 93 and 87 probably not much of a difference all the power on the power pack probably come from the 93 octane and if they would have baselined the truck on 93 would have been nice
Love it, but what about an old 2003 Dodge Ram?? Can you do something like that for a dodge Ram 1500 quad cab , 4x4??
You know these episodes are super old right?
I have an 05 Ram 4x4 quad cab with the Hemi. Honestly they really aren’t worth putting that much money into at this point. Unless you want to start with a fresh long block and transmission first.
Because all Dodge trucks that old are in the scrap yard,
I really wouldn't ask about it
But I have one that runs pretty good still , transmission is still good, and I really just have
Minor things wrong with it. My 4x4 still works good, and everything. I'm not going to put alot of money in it really, just was wondering about a few things. Thanks
Anyways guys, appreciate anyway.
Is it me or do stages 1 and 2 seem to give very little bang for the buck? That's a lot of parts and work for 43hp and 26ft/lb? An intake, exhaust, headers, and tune should make more than that.
I mean that's pretty typical. Bolt on don't usually get you much bang for your buck.
That was 21% gain in power from stock. Apparently you don’t understand how naturally aspirated engines work. That’s a good gain for small tube shorty headers, cat back exhaust and a little hotter spark. Before dynos we’re everywhere, people just assumed they were making 200 more horsepower with those fancy headers.
I understand how engines work just fine thank you. Look at what adding the same thing on say a Hemi or LS based V8 and you will get significantly more than that.
@@bmstylee That’s because the Hemi and LS start out with more power. They still won’t get much more than a 20% bump up in power with those little add on’s. But 20% of 400 is more than 20% of 200 that they started with. It’s all relative. The heads on the ford engine are not as good as the Hemi and LS. I have a 392 Hemi and the Eagle heads are outstanding.
I like how the rotors were labeled for each side and then they put the rotors backwards.
They aren't backwards. If you look closely when they're on the table the left rotor is scooping. Slots don't determine direction on rotors and different brands say different.. The internal fins determine direction. Rotors with strait fins can mount either way.
Honestly banks stuff is way over rated. Banks is mostly full of hot air
