It said: "CHEM TRAILS ON/OFF" and it happened to fit perfectly over a switch that no longer had a function. We'd always snap a pic and find some conspiracy group to post it in.
And in other comments: "JeT FUeL CaN'T MeLt StEeL BEaMs". It doesn't have to. While it might not burn hot enough to turn the beams to liquid, it IS hot enough to turn it to gumby. It doesn't need to melt, it just needs to be hot enough that it can't support it's own weight. More than doable with Jet A.

The steel didnt melt. It was just heated enough to soften it just enough. True, fire doesn't melt steel but jet fuel fires burn A LOT hotter. Thats why they "melted" the steel beams. Once one floors beams gave in the beams from the floors below started taking more weight than the design allows. Thats what made the towers collapse in the way they did.

The whole 911 thing can be a bit confusing if you don't consider the "side effects" of flying a plane into a building.
It isn't just a brute force impact. there's jetfuel melting the aluminium of the plane, which if it contacts water from the sprinkler system will explode. (don't mess about with molten aluminium and water, is bad for your health)
Then there's the whole jetfuel can't melt steel beams thing, this is on its face correct. however steel when sufficiently heated yet still far below its melting point has the structural integrity of boiled spaghetti. Add to that some design flaws with the locations of the lift shafts and well.. it's kinda obvious at this point.
So we have design flaws in the buildings, we have exploding molten aluminium and a steel skeleton with the structural integrity of spaghetti.
Now you don't have to be a scientist or a structural engineer to know that building a skyscraper out of wet spaghetti and exploding molten aluminium inside is not going to end well, especially if the structure is weakened by the location of the lift shaft.

The thermite thing that people talk about could be explained by the burning aluminum too, if there's enough metal oxides around where the aluminum is burning it will create a thermite reaction. Even without that the aluminum burns at like 3600 f which is well above the melting point of steel. People think of aluminum as this boring inert metal but get it hot and it's incredibly reactive

If Terry can demonstrate how 1x1=2, I would like to introduce him to my piggybank.
Also, even if jet fuel alone in a controlled chamber may not melt steel beams into puddles, a lot of the other sh*t cacthing on fire sure can. Especially when you involve the airflow dynamics of a hundreds of meter tall building on fire. The intense updraft winds accellerated by every burning floor it passes on its way up through elevator and ventilation shafts, stairwells etc - basically makes the fire on the upper floors become a frickin blowtorch, burning vastly hotter than under normal ambient conditions. Like sticking a leaf blower on the bottom vent of your wood or coal burning barbeque. Hot enough to severely weaken the steel beams supporting the concrete floors, causing the floor to sag and pull the outer walls inwards like a hammock tied between a big concrete pillar and a not-so-chunky tree. The planes and debree penetrated so deep into the buildings, it caused severe damage to the structural, primary load bearing core of the towers. Because of this, suddenly a huge part of the weight of the 15-30 floors above, were now loaded on the outer perimeter walls - which they were never built to tolerate. - And like standing on an empty soda can, if you snap a little crumple/dent into the side of the can - like a perimeter wall crumpling inwards because a sagging, 250.000+ ton heavy steel and concrete floor is pulling inwards on it - That doesn't end well for the soda can.
Reality is, steel alloys (just like most other metal alloys) are not eutectic alloys. They don't go from full structural tensile strength and rigidity, to molten puddle, in one instant phase change. Just think about it. If a steel alloy maintained _anywhere _*_near_* its full tensile strength and rigidity all the way up to its melting temperature - then WTF have all these millions of forging blacksmiths across the world been doing the last 7-8 centuries?? Witchcraft?? Just search "blacksmith steel", and you'll find thousands of videos of people heating steel objects to well far below their melting temperature, roughly around the upper range of temperature inside your average house fire - then go on to shape those really meaty steel objects _just with a frickin hammer._

Explaining the lack of cascade pumps for the sprinklers and how the fire would probably cause the steel to buckle because of carbon...etc etc .. I'm an electrical engineer I didn't get it... As for Decoding the Unknown, it IS one of my favorite channels of Simon. If you're curious about it, and enjoy the general flavor of this channel, Decoding the Unknown is a natural next step. I find some of Simon's other channels just a bit too clinical and polished for my personal enjoyment (still VERY well presented information, if you're just interested in learning), but Decoding the Unknown has more of the reactionary improv and fun of this channel. Kevin and Katy often write for Decoding the Unknown, but I believe both have had cross-over scripts at this point, and both are absolutely on point with this channel. Whats bad is the original hypothesis for chem-trails specifically separated what they were talking about, from normal contrails. Chem-trails are suppose to not be white, their suppose to spread out over the sky, their suppose to act differently to the contrails that you always see, but people are idiots and don't even source their conspiracies to their origin. The hypothesis also wasn't exactly wrong at first. When the hypothesis first came about, people were just starting to experiment with things like cloud seeding, but the media wasn't paying any attention to those new groundbreaking discoveries and experiments, in the 1960s or so, plus some of the experiments were done by government agencies like DARPA, and so were classified for a time. So you ended up with random people seeing cloud seeding experiments across the mid west and they freaked out, creating the chem trail conspiracy. It's basically another case like Roswell, the conspiracy is the coverup itself.

Architect here. We rate building for fire resistance up to a certain number of hours in order to safely evacuate occupants. The fire resistance rating for the twin towers was 2 hours before the protective barriers surrounding the steel would be burned away. Right around the two hour mark the steel began to heat and deform allowing the next safety measure to be enacted. Buildings of that height have to be able to fail in the safest way possible, so the support structures were placed so when they failed the building would collapse down rather than the danger of it tipping over and destroying the other tower or the other buildings in the area. The towers were text book for their construction and even manage to hold up properly despite the accelerant of the jet fuel. Unfortunately the nature of the impact cut off all the escape routes from the floors above, something we have since changed in the fire code.

I used to convince people in college that ducks were flightless birds - they had webbed feet, and spent most of their time floating in the water, and could not fly. Crazy how many people believed me - as I usually stated this “fact” while walking by the campus duck pond! If you waited a few minutes you’d SEE a duck fly in, or fly from the water to the land, etc. I always made sure to let people in on the joke, though sometimes convincing them ducks could fly took longer than convincing them they can’t.

just in case he finds this video and reads these comments: if you have four boxes that each contain four apples how many apples do you you have? that's 4 (boxes) × 4 (apples)=16 (apples) = 4×4=16. now if you have one box containing only one apple in it, how many apples is that? 1 (box) × 1 (apple) =1 (apple) 1×1=1
    to go a step further
if you have two boxes each containing eight applies (2×8=16) that's exactly the same as having 4 boxes of 4 (4×4=16) or one box of 16 (1×16=16), isn't it?

that said, you've got your sums back to front, it should be [eight apples]×[two boxes] 8×2=24! How do you like _them_ apples?

Oh and just a thought, if you put the two boxes in a box you'll get 48 apples [8×2]×1=48

About 911; most buildings would not fall down with that type of crash, but due to the style of building and the kind support system they had it was a perfect storm. There is some really interesting real engineering stuff on how those towers were designed. It was a really good design except they didn't plan for planes full of fuel crashing into them. I don't think even the terrorist knew the building would collapse.

My favorite chemtrail clip I've seen, aside from the lady spraying vinegar in her back yard to make clouds go away, was a guy living on a lake, the kind where people launch fireworks from, and he said that the levels of metals such as aluminum and strontium, like you find in fireworks, that he was testing the water for.... for no apparent reason, had increased over the years: thus chemtrails are killing us all. Who could have predicted that annually releasing metals over a lake would increase the ppb counts of those same metals in that same lake?

As a professional metalworker and production machine operator here in Germany I get really annoyed at people going on about that the planes couldn´t have brought down the WTC. Especially the "Jet fuel does not melt steal beams" argument. First of all, yes jet fuel burns at 800 degrees celsius. But thats when its pure and sitting in a beaker. If you throw Kerosine on a giant pile of wood plastic and paper, ignite it and blow in a lot of air it gets incredible hot, even up to the melting point of steel. Like for example if you flew a plane into a high building that already has strong winds blowing up and then the convection sucks in even more air.
And second, you dont even need to melt the steel. Thats the point where you know people talk without a basic understanding of how steel and its strengh regarding heating it work. I know this because I went to a school to learn this. And its quiet simple, steel has a heat stregth curve, meaning, the hotter it gets the more strength it looses. Up to 500 C it linearly looses its strgth ending at a loss of 40 percent of its strength at room temperature. Over that the loss increases rapitdly and at, funnly enougth, about 800 C it has lost 90 percent of its original strength. From that point its a flatter and linear decline till it reaches its melting point, which is what makes it a wonderful material to forge as it has a wide range of workability. But what this tells you is, that the 800 C that jet feul burns at alone is absolutely enougth to anihilate the load bearing capabilitys of a structure making every part on those floors fail at once, leating to the straight collaps we see in the videos.
