So when doing mine I used the stock frame rails and axle to keep everything lined up and square. Used the stock rear axle to mark the location of where the axle would sit on new rails so tire sat right in wheel well. I wouldn’t cut the stock frame till the new one is all welded on and rear axle mounted.
Man, if only I knew a builder that could build me the dream truck I had. Black '92 S-10, bench seat, 4.3, mint condition, kinda like the Sonoma GT which was basically a Syclone without the turbo an 2wd. Only add back the turbo an convert to 6-speed.....a man can dream.
Massive meats = weight and drag! But if you'd rather have the look instead of the go, there you go! I've known a couple people who've had tires that big under an S10, nothing but cuttin' and weldin'! 👍
@@RobbyVsGarage no,,,i ordered the rear 4 link from Art Morrison,,,told them my ride height,,size tires,,and rim size with backspacing,,,they welded everything frame and ford 9"
I'm 56 and I took off a Chevy 1500 bed by myself three times let me tell you that Sh.t is no Bueno as a body man and RV technician painter I got lots of home projects myself from our 65 SS Impala and a friends 79 or 80 short box Chevy van I don't get much time to finish to work on the Impala like I did a few years back work in mesa AZ and live on 91st Ave sucks
Brother, do you know how many people have fire and pitch forks in their eyes for cutting an original rust free bed up? . ROFLMFAO !!!! that's funny!!!. As they walk out of their house and see the rear of their beds dragging the ground because of rust lol.
Wow that one is cherry to begin with. Back-half it and send it!
I went to that get down show back in 2018 when it was at the water park.
