I love a lot about the US, but the one word that describes your culture is *superficial*. Norwegians aren't afraid to talk about close, personal things and we take pride in caring for each other. We cherish "true values" more than striving for the perfect facade.
@Roy Khan she became famous pretty fast after her career started. I don't think she'll change much. She's had a good portion of success already and she's stayed the same. I don't think she will ever go full diva like many superstars do, not only in America.

But she's always respectful and humble when she meets fans.

So interesting to hear them talk about their different dialects. The areas being discussed would be so close together in the USA, there would not be a difference in accent, let alone dialect. Cool that a country has maintained the uniqueness of speech in each localized place. Also, I'm sure the interviewers would not have brought up Viktoria's bi-polar diagnosis without her permission. She may feel that discussing it as a family could help others with their struggle.
Norway is seriously long even in an American context. For example longer than between Boston and New York. There are some serious differences in dialects between those two cities in the US as well!
Wow, Victoria is so beautiful! She's so quiet but has such a strong presence. I also think her face looks like a dark haired dark eyed version of Aurora, but their personalities are very different.
Her life seems so great. And on top of that, she had the possibility to grow up in a house on a isle in the middle of beautiful Bergen, had supportive parents and a very wonderful relationship with her sisters, hence at 20 a music career and I am sitting here trying to fight my PTSD... :/ I love her, but I am so jealous of her wonderfull life and upbringing.

On the shallow surface some people's lives might seem pretty perfect but you don't know them at all. We assume things that aren't all the time in our lives

I've just become a fan of Aurora's this Fall and wondered how she came up with all these creative and often beautiful outfits, and now I know. Besides her music and wonderful voice her hair and makeup have always caught my attention too. I used to be a professional photographer and worked with a lot of top LA makeup artists and stylists so I can appreciate it when I see such clean and beautiful looks on Aurora. My cousin is a publicity manager in LA for music talent like Pentatonix and I hear about him running all over the country for work. So, Aksnes sisters, I've got to say you are all very talented and hard working! I like the term Team Aksnes, are mom and dad involved too? I have a short list of people I think would be fascinating to spend the day with. Angelina Jolie, not only because of her acting but directing and humanitarian work too. Drew Barrymore, again actress, producer, humanitarian. And now I've added Aurora for many of the same reasons. An added plus is that all my great grandparents are from Norway, the Lofoten side of the country, and I'd love to know someone from there and learn more about their society and customs, and who better to hear about it from other than a brilliant and creative girl like Aurora?
