I will be 78 years old next month and I discovered the L'Oreal foundation that you're wearing and I absolutely love it. As you can tell by my age I have tried many foundations through my life but this one is just absolutely beautiful and looks so natural

Yep I agree, this is a gorgeous foundation and, on camera at least, it didn't look too dark at all. Someone needs to email L'Oréal and remind them that they're a drugstore brand. I just got this and love it! I have oily skin, so I do set it with powder. But it doesn't break up on my skin even hours later (like most foundations and BB creams do).. I'm seriously impressed with it! :D I got the lightest shade and it looks great but maybe slightly too pale, so I also ordered the light and I'm pretty sure mixing the 2 will be perfect. 👍

I’ve found that this stuff works better when you just slather it on with your fingers like a serum or moisturizer . I’m very impressed with this product so far!

Denatured alcohol is in the formula 4 or 5th ingredient....very drying to the skin. Lancome and loreal use it in most of their products. But does look like good coverage for a serum foundation. Thank you!
i noticed that too and its actually in the new maybelline fit me moisturizer, revlon colorstay light cover foundation and this. why do they add alcohol denat in products?! i dont get it
I’m not so hung up about denatured alcohol. I’d rather have the foundation dry down than remain sticky and tacky. To me a little of it is okay for drying down purposes. Plus it evaporates quickly. I prep my skin very well before foundation so I’ve never noticed it drying my face out.
Looks beautiful on you, I ordered it from Amazon it was $15 I think? Anywho I have combination skin and in the summer can get oily, but normally run a little dry I'm almost 60! If it looks this good on me now it'll look even better in the Fall with the hyaluronic acid! So glad I bought it!!
Just found your channel! Love it! I found you because I just bought the shape tape tarte cloud coverage foundation and I love it and wanted to see what others though! I also have this one and I havw oily acne prone skin and it doesn't cover me at all! But it seems so good for my skin I wear it sometimes hehe!

I think people forget that "drug store" products have increased in quality. Maybelline, Cover Girl, Almay, etc., have seriously "upped their game" from what they were in the 90's. I remember when wearing Wet n Wild would cause girls to erupt in laughter, because it was considered cheap, lousy makeup. L'oreal has always been higher priced and with good reason: their quality, innovations, packaging, and adveristing (spokesmodels that include Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Camilla Cabello, Eva Longoria, Helen Mirren, Viola Davis, and Amber Heard) all affirm that. Not to mention, that they OWN Lancome, Urban Decay, It Cosmetics, among others. And the "prestige" brands that people will gladly throw down $40 for a foundation like Smashbox, Tarte, Too Faced, etc., aren't much better in quality (sometimes lesser...), than the ones sitting on the shelves at Walgreens.

Since I'm a light olive tone I have green/gray/violet tones around my eyes. I didn't even have to set it. I haven't had a chance to try the Catrice one yet but all the reviews I've seen were great!
The Catrice one will give you a bit more coverage. I’d say try that one before this one because this is more similar to the Tarte one you already have.

Good question! Lumi never worked for me and it’s been a long time that I don’t have it in my stash. If I’m remembering correctly, Lumi didn’t give me the coverage I wanted and this new one does. The OG True Match is a good one. I think they are super similar but this one provides a bit more of a glow. Coverage is about the same on both. I’d use up the Lumi that you have a then move on to this one. Hope this helps!
Hi. I've purchased shade light 2-3 but I'm worried it might be too dark. Does it oxidise at all? I'm shade linen in the 24 hour infallible fresh wear foundation. I don't have perfect skin so worried this won't feel enough coverage 🤔 x
Not necessarily. Since you have dry skin, you could always benefit from that added bit of hydration a primer could provide. This does have HA in it but try it first the way you typically wear your foundation and see how you like it.

I’m so interested in this foundation! How did it hold up under your mask as you went out and about? I know the masks tend to rub it off.
It’s not too bad. There is some run off but you can easily pat it out and touch up with your fav powder. It’s a winner. The finish is just so pretty.

No I didn’t notice anything. The shades are very forgiving so what you got should work.
