Such a great thing you both are doing, using your fame as a platform to raise awareness for very important and needed charities like this and also topics such as health care and diagnostics and autism in particular which hits close to home for me as a parent of a now young man who is on the autism spectrum.
I agree my son was diagnosed with autism which then got me thinking and now I am also diagnosed with autism. These guys are the ones who got the ball rolling for us.

at the time didnt realize how lucky me and me bro and sister were, when my dad had to work in the school hollidays we use to have to go to work with him and sit in the tractor on the pan while he turned the plane around, one time he got me and me bro a flight in a c130 herculese while the army were doing training jumps out the back off it over fort george!! was awesome!! he sadly pased away with cancer as well in the end, you are both amasing so awesome your doing this!!

It was event at the Inverness Airport called Run the Runway, a Maggie's Highland event, and they said as much at the conclusion. They said far more than "awareness".
