Christoffer, thank you so much for sharing your story. I am a 55 yr old retired psychiatrist/neurologist. I was on bicycle 5.5 yrs ago when hit by truck. I have same leg amputations as you. I have struggled with many things. Now being re-fitted for leg prosthetics. You inspire me. I too, was athelete before accident. Tennis player and swimming, bicycling. 98% of ppl my age with our injury never walk again. I'm in that 2%!! I aspire to get as good as you! You are doing great my brother-keep up the great work!

Thank you for your comment. I'm glad to hear that you are in those 2% and that I have inspired you. That really inspire me to keep on whit what I do. So, thank you once again and keep up the good work. Mabey, we meet one day 😊

My mom is 74 years old and she is a quadruple amputee as a result from UTI specticimia. She worked very hard to get in shape to walk with the protheses legs. The orthopedic surgeon told me not to give my mom false hope and she would never walk again. After reading your comments, one thing I notice is that all three of you are very athletic and active in sports. My mom climbed the hills almost everyday before the specticimia took her limbs. She is walking around with the prothesis legs and the ability to walk again restores her dignity too.

So glad you survived! It’s funny how you mentioned it was cold when you had your accident. I’ve read that UK soldiers injured on the Falklands battlefield survived injuries that otherwise would normally be fatal. The very cold weather conditions slowed down their bodies circulation stopping many from loosing all their blood until help arrived. If the night had been warmer they would very likely have not survived.

This is so inspirational. I am shocked on how you overcame all of the things in your way and also have the courage and confidence to talk about all the things that have tried to stop you. I have been faced with many difficulties in life nothing like this but I know the feeling of waking up in a hospital bed without even knowing what happened and I am happy to see that there is hope in near future because of people like you I have never had amputations but I have had open fractures and many many broken bones were I can't use that limb for a few months but I can't imagine living without them. I am happy you are still living a life that is motivated and still patient. I have been moved by this story. I hope you live the best life from here on. I just got out of the hospital after being really really sick the past 10 weeks and I seen this and I am moved and I went around my house showing everyone this video. I hope that those guys watch this video and hate themselves to the point were it ruins there life and i know it's not nice to tell people this but for them I feel it should and that you lived for a reason and that's to be able to laugh in there face some day and say nice try but good will always win.

Hi Christoffer, i've just discovered your channel (subbed) and really enjoying your content. A year ago I decided to start my own channel about loosing my left leg (TKA). What an amazing story, I lost mine through paragliding (story posted on my channel).
Your story is radical, I really feel for you. I was looking for trouble doing extreme sport, but to loose your leg due to the reckless cruelty of someone else is near unimaginable for me. I have great respect for your courage after what happened.
Thanks for great content, keep posting please.

When I was a kid maybe about 13 my friend and I were playing around some train tracks. Putting coins and stuff on the tracks train came along slow stopped engineer got out came over to us he saw what we were doing from a switching yard. He told us about a kid that tried to run Infront of his train he was killed never forgot it said took many years to get over it where he didn't think about it, we reminded him again. I could tell he was upset we told him we stay back away from them. You still hear of kids getting killed playing around train tracks once in a while. Although your accident didn't involve playing around the tracks does show how easy it is to simply trip trying to run over them and end up being run over.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, in Sweden where I live there is every year one ore tow accidents involving kids on train tracks.
