Awesome job! I still think you should continue with the 1/24’s and build yourself a nice little belly dragger. It will look great on your indoor course.
Each competitor was asked to make a 4ft by 2ft board, with the only stipulation being it needs to be accessable at ground level on each short (2ft) end. Since R1 there has been a specific indoor club started using this principle, and i expect more will follow as boards on tables allow for good access for mobility impared RC enthusiasts. Nothing to stop you building your own board/s, then finding a location and forming a club ??
Great build. The design's looking awesome👍. Thanks for showing the runs, too. But I had seen the building video before, so no big suprise on this chassis and motor😉
The Shark did really well. The tires look great. The courses were very tough. I thought it was neat they recycled some material but it needed some texture. You should feel good about your performance. Congratulations.
Phil here’s a good tip for your shocks: you can remove the springs so it sits lower but keeps all the flex. You can also mount the shocks a lot lower down for an LCG setup. Mine crawls like a beast. Idk if you have a weighted bumper but if you don’t just remove it it gives you a 90 degree approach angle. I also run mine with no body. Keeps the weight down.
OK so I want you to recreate the Fonz jumping the shark on skis, but this time it will be a shark jumping the Fonz as a 4wd. Do it, you know you want to!!!!
Bud looks like he's throwing up a Treal masterpiece. It's beautiful. As a monster truck fan, I'm certain this would get team Megalodon would give a fat thumbs up! Well done sir! Great video!! Congrats on that placing jump!!
I feel like slightly smoother tires would give you more grip on some of those smooth artificial surfaces. For real rocks and dirt, sure go with the big lug tires, but painted plastic needs a little more surface area on the tire patch.
Now I have that irritating song stuck in my head. Thanks, I really appreciate that... Lmbo. 😂😂. Love your videos. Just keep baby shark out of them. 😂😂😂
I know this has nothing to do with your video, but I have just discovered the MJX hyper go brushless. The thing is pure insanity. Throw it in your backpack and go anywhere.
Hi love the content. I went to the MK rc event as a few friends were racing. Can you do an educational video on these cars like xray, schumaker etc as they are vastly different to the models you show. Would love to see you try some of these and show how boost, turbo etc works on these.
Would you choose the RGT 18100 1/10 crawler over a Axial scx10 iii base camp ? What has better electronics? Better aftermarket support? And whats better n more capable out of the box?
Ah this is great, my 3 year old has a Megalodon RC and it is absolute garbage but he loves it. I need to pull the body off and see if I can fit it to something a little better. Thanks for the idea!
Rules take the fun out of it just go for it and see how it turns out allot like life itself. You did great and had fun its too bad that competition with the rules themselves ruin it a bit, a tire nicks a wheel and you lose a point indeed.

Ha, nice imagination with the shark body, looks pretty cool to and definitely unusual. Good job Phil and congrats on 3rd. Top job, top video. John
Thanks John… when I found it, I knew I had to use it lol
That screaming crying Traxxas kid was genius. 😂
Crawler shark looks awesome.
Thanks dude
Awesome video, great build, very well driven on the day, well deserved 3rd place overall.
Crawler Shark, do, do, da, do....
It was a fun event… looking forward to the start of the next winter series 👌
Gotta get those little guy racing tires on that lil beast. Makes for an excellent performance upgrade.
Nice job, congrats on making the podium, Phil!
Thanks dude
Congrats on the podium! I dig them Baja tires too and I love me some iceberg rc bodies.
They are such good tyres 👌

Yes, more coming for sure 👌

Thanks dude. Such a capable little rig
@@TomleyRC defo best fun crawler for sure
Awesome little rig! Great job. Would love to have an indoor mini comp here in the land of ice and snow

Yes, I have shown most of it. Hence I didn’t bother showing me swapping the chassis over
I wish I was in a community with this much love for small scale crawlers! Where I live in the US there isn’t anything like this. Awesome though!! ❤
CCXRC has some nice bits for the 24th scale crawlers. Cape Crawlers has good video's/info on suspension and all things crawling. Cheers!
Cheers dude

I plan to use textured paint on that board before next time ! 😉
It was a good fun day. And all the boards had a different feel, so made it even more challenging 👌
Fantastic ride there, Phil! Congrats! 😃
But yeah, toy cars sometimes are a great start for a body! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Yes, this was an almost perfect fit 👌

Congrats on placing👍 Loved that suitcase course!
Cheers dude. Yeah, that was awesome
*Hey bro thanks for the shout out dude. Now we just need to get you down to our course. All 200sqf of it.
Congratulations Phil. Nice job!
Thanks Jonnie

Well done buddy 3rd place is nothing to b sniffed at mate 👏👏👏
Nice video footage, was a close call between us for second place
You were the guy who came second? They spelt your name wrong Lol it looks great fun. 😊
5 points! So close
Man, RC crawling is a whole new world of RC!
12:33 "there's not much more, I could do to it really"
Me: well, you could get a competent driver for it 😅😂🤣
How dare you! 😂
I actually love the look of that shark 🦈 body lol
Yeah, turned out really cool
That’s awesome bro congratulations that crawler looks epic
What a great event, well done 👍🏻
Thanks mate
Nice work there Phil. That looked difficult.
Thanks mate
You could give it 4 wheel steering i reckon. That body is cool 🤘🍻🤘
Yes.. that would help the steering a fair bit as the LWB can struggle
Love the crawler vids
Thanks dude
LOOKS VERY GOOD FUN THAT MATE WELL DONE
It’s was very fun
Oh hell yeah. New vid!
That is so cool! Great job and very different for sure.
You definitely should have been bumped to 2nd for shark style points. Nice driving Phil. Trouble is, now that shark song is stuck in my head.
Well done Phil gotta be pleased with that.👍👍👍
I have a set of the Baja tires and love them and the injora “mud terrain” super sticky and has a chunky tread
Fair play! Looks fun 😊
Dude top 3 is a good spot!!! The shark isn't even my style but I love it!!! Dude you are R/C awesome!!!
Nice!
Wow really mate! Let's go Phil!!🤘👊👍cheers from canada!
I'm absolutely in love
going slow is the new going fast. Great video again
Yes… seems to be getting very popular
@@TomleyRC it’s definitely a skill. I love going fast. I’m working on going slow. I actually think going slow is harder.
Have to say I've been rock crawling for 17 years and now seems more popular than ever.

Absolutely love the shark 🦈 🦈👌😀👍
cool
3 am gang, rise up
Early early lol. 10am in the UK 👌
Do you have an over drive gear in the front? (Or under drive in the back) Helps a ton with crawling and turning radius.
Yeah dude it's a must upgrade for the SCX24 just to get that turning circle better 👍🛻🪨
love the body. You should call it Quint, or Bruce (jaws references)
Yes… although I thing Crawler Shark is gonna stay 😎
@@TomleyRC that will work
@@TomleyRC I will call mine Bruce then
4:36 looks silly but a GOOD silly....maybe I need to make a finding nemo body for mine hahaha

Nice vid! But where did I see this shark body 3 years a go?
Lol he said baJa instead of baHa (phonetic). baHa is Spanish for bottom, for those that don't know.
What transmitter are you using here? Couldn't quite tell from the video shots-maybe a RadioLink?

I think you'll find with minimal upgrades the power wagon will outperform the SCX24 with hundreds invested in it.
Yes, quite possibly
When is the next talbot race going to be
