Thank you for your videos. As I’m still learning, I’ve been beating my head trying to create a shortcut. I would like to create a notification or alert that when a tv show or movie from my wishlist in iTunes goes on sale. Is this possible? If so, how do I go about doing this? Thank you!

This awesome - I was able to build a shortcut from the learning you provided that for the Profit First Accounting System - Where I plug in my Revenue and the short cut divides the amount into the corresponding account buckets, plus I go fancy and set it to send the details to me via email. Cheers for doing this.
Once again, it’s a great video that explains some details I simply overlook while I wrote my own shortcuts. What I learnt here is to put the bunch of grouped data into the list or dictionary and pass it to something... And I found it’s useful and practical. Thanks!

This is quickly handled through the control panel. Long press the data connections tab to get access to personal hotspot.

Thank you Tech Craft, for your helpful intro/refresher to Ios shortcraft scripting.
I guess from your screencast that you are using the ios app bear in combination with the shortcut app.
Is there a direct way to import a comma-separated text from bear into a List (with implicit type conversion) or does it need an explicit type conversation or even, does it need an additional script?
Pointing out the inconsistencies/issues is a huge timesaver.
Nice video. In the get location from photos, can you do the same but with videos??
Absolutely! Any video that has a location attached can be processed in the same way. There are no specific actions for videos, instead the same actions used for images work on videos too. In the Find Photos action, there is a filter option called Media Type that allows you to find just video files.

Hi Rob, can you help me with shortcuts issue. Picture is taken, and I want immediately share or copy to Shared folder
There's no way to trigger a shortcut when a photo is taken, but you can create a shortcut that will get the latest photo and then either share or copy. You can drop that shortcut on your home screen for easy access.
I'm using the same steps you used to display location of photos I choose to see their location. It works when editing, but when I select done and then go to the widget to run the shortcut it does not work. Any suggestions?

@@nickaraiz1490 I just tested this in my widget and it worked ok. What issue are you seeing? Does the shortcut launch? Can you select images? If you can get this far but it's not showing a maps location it may be that the image you've picked doesn't have a location??

The script runs all the way up to showing the map. Is there a way for me to look at the properties of an image to see if it does not have the information needed to be displayed from the camera roll?

How to add an item to a Note? Can’t be done!
If you are still struggling with it, then please allow me to show you my approach to this.
I basically use two commands as follows:
Find Notes > Append to note
If you try adding them I’m sure the next step would be clear but here’s my explanation anyway
For find note I added a filter where it looks for the the name I choose, since I specified a pre made note I have inputted it’s name manually.
How do you charge your ipad without a cable in it?

I watched to hopefully learn some basics of this but sadly even the basics are so far out of my understanding. I’ll just go back to my cave and hope to find pre-made ones that fit my needs.
