Like many I have an OTT (and resulting slice) problem and I hope this will help but could you please provide some more detail on how to "get in the slot," "under the plane?" Do you drop your right shoulder, keep your head back, bump your hips-what exactly will help get me into this important position without going over the top? I also tried to find the answer in your book, "The Bad Lie," but it was also a little vague with advice that simply said to "hold your hips steady and just let your arms drop back into the slot." The may seem easy for you, but for many of us, that move is an elusive mystery.
from Cumberland, RI. Great tips.
Good day from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Love your lesson.

Well Done Todd! I've been working on this release for a while now and yes, it does produce a draw. I do intentionally set up for an in to out swing anyway, so I do get draws a lot. Our weather is finally improving in So. California, so I'm getting ready for an active season.
Bonjour du Québec. Like your driver lessons. I wil try it on my next driving session.
Very valuable instruction. Linking in from Tasmania

Good afternoon, I'm from Belgium. 62 years old and playing golf now since about 6 months. I love my driver. My husband hates it. I can reach between 120 and 150 meters with my driver. But I suppose if I follow your leads I will be able to hit further. Thanks for your very perfect understandable explanations of how to change some little things that will improve your golf swings.
Thank you for the kind words. If you like our videos you would really enjoy this www.badliegolfbook.com/

When you talked about the downswing on the driver is that different from hitting irons
Hi Tod, this Subir, from Kolkata, India. I love your videos and follow you. I have questions:
1. This feeling of trying to bring the club down from below the swing circle line - does it apply to irons and 3w and rescue from the fairways as well?
2. I was actually trying to release the wrist/ hand etc yesterday, with mixed results, mostly not so great; esp on the drivers. The timing becomes so critical that the result gets very chancy. What do you say about that?
My miss is a hook to the left.
Yeadon, PA. Where does your club head impact on the golf ball; on the back or just inside the back?
Michigan. Your hook comment is what i’m doing. My hand went up.

Bob from n.h. I have the maxvert driver all my shots all clubs is a stingers can't get any air
Should us experienced golfers also use a closed stance for our fairway woods and longer irons? Thanks from Austin, TX
Short answer is yes. Stance slightly closed with clubface at the target line. We cover that in our book THE BAD LIE which you can find here www.badliegolfbook.com/

From the Golf "Mecca", Michigan originally, now living in Minnesota...and I brought my "swamp hook" with me.😉 Actually, it's more of a dead pull. Is that a result of not releasing the club? Thanks!
