Todd I also like the taste of the Shake Shack burger. I get them when in Vegas. We have a Culver's here in Daytona Beach and they have a pretty good burger. But my go to is 5 Guys.
I want to apologize for the delay. I had a couple of editing issues . Some of you caught the problems, and I appreciate y'all for letting me know. The video should be good to go now.
I am a septuagenarian from TX and have been eating Whataburgers my entire life. 2 things about Whataburger; first, context, Whataburger should be compared to other fast food chains, not local or Mom & Pop burger restaurants; second, Whataburger sold out to a national investor several years ago so the consistency may not be the same from store to store. The new owner began expanding Whataburger to other states fairly rapidly. However, here in Temple, TX, if you want a consistent burger meal, many Texans like Whataburger because you can get a full size burger vs the smaller McDonalds and Wendy's (with jalapeños). I don't like the broiled Burger King at all. One last thing, and this is a personal taste issue, ketchup on a burger or any beef ruins it, save it for the fries!😂
@rayswindle9031 thank you for your input. Also, with expansion to other states, it can also affect quality for sure. It happens to a lot of chains. Next time I try another Whataburger, I could have a different experience. ❤️
Did you like Boiling Springs? I had to move to WV to care for my mom from Mooresville 3yrs ago. She passed away and I want to move back but can't afford to due to home prices and taxes. The Boling Springs area seems more affordable but am hesitant to move to a place I don't know anyone. Do you like it there?
I was so excited to try Whataburger after my TX friends hyped it up so much. It's really not that special. It's slightly better than your average fast food burger but it's not as good as Freddy's, In-n-Out, Shake Shack, Five Guys, etc. Their mustard is really good though.
I had the same experience. I think maybe the place we went to must have been "off" or something. It was really not better than an average fast food burger. I'd like to try it again sometime to see if it was just a bad day for them. One thing about In N Out is it is always the same, every time, every place.
So I'm from the west coast and have had In N Out hundreds of times for decades (had it yesterday in fact). In N Out is fantastic, but even it is over rated at this point. We took a trip to Waco, Texas 2 years ago and decided to try Whataburger. I'm not kidding when I say the entire family was shocked at how bad it was. It was average at best. This isn't a competition. I could care less if In N Out is better than Whataburger. Whataburger sucked.
@@toddventure I can tell you it has a strange and distincitve flavor. I mean, it's good but it is unique. I love it but maybe that is because I've been eating it since I was like 16 and I am 50 years old now. But, it's never changed in all that time. And, any locations you go it is always the same, every time. Extremely consistent...for decades. I actually love the fries. I want to try Whataburger again just to make sure if it was a bad restaurant (never happens with In N Out).

5 Guys is a great Go to.🙂
IN N OUT is opening a location in Nashville soon
Cool. Getting closer and closer. ❤️

I went thru the drive thru. Went straight home
My 2 meals were ice cold. Very disappointed. Especially the price I had to pay. I want go back
@@KathyHawkins-x3b my fries were not hot either.
How do they compare to Cook-Out burgers?
@jeffreyquick4871 Cook-Out, I would add to the better list.

@amyxplores810 I did drive around, but it seems it has no designated town center. I do love the area, though. ❤️
@@toddventure Thank you.
I didn’t like the big guy suing the little guy but I’m not going to lie I’m probably going to try it anyway
Definitely try it. 🙂
lol you were 3 minutes from my house
