If you want honesty from my personal opinion: Stretched tires do not work well on a 350z, unless you are just doing it for looks. Handling, well, I felt like I couldn't drive the car in rain on the highway, around a sort of windy road, or even when I ran the setup while under boost -- It felt like I was far more likely to just slide. This being the case, stretched tires would work well for, say, a drifting setup or for show. As for anything beyond that on this platform -- it makes the car far less enjoyable to drive. The old setup (When I purchased my Z33): XXR 526 Rear: 20x11 +11, 275/30/20 Front: 18x10.5 +20 225/40/18 New setup: Work CR2P Rear: 19x10.5 +20 285/35/19 Front: 18x9 +28 255/40/18 (I think, it's been a few months lol) Handling experience with the 'old setup': Everytime I drove in the rain at over 55MPH, I would slide. The tires were new and name brand (can't remember, I believe Goodyear Eagle GT or BFGs). Grip when flooring it while NA was minimal at best. If I started in 3rd gear at 60MPH, I would have grip, however anything below that I would feel weird understeer happening that was a bit more dangerous to drive. Going around corners or just sharper turns at decent speeds (acceptable speeds) would feel far less confident, making you feel like the car would easily kick out and start sliding. Adjusting coilovers wouldn't change this, although it would help stiffen certain areas (Granted, I also have sways), it felt like it was going to break lose regardless of the changes. Here comes the kicker: I couldn't put on wider tires due to the car actually not having clearance. In order for me to go with wider tires, I would have had to have add spacers and open up the fender, even with aggressive camber. If I raised the car in the front (which would look weird with this setup lol), it would 'work fine' if I went with a spacer, BUT honestly, I think I'd be better off with not doing that unless I had wider fenders (although, a good mod now a days if you want this setup). As for the rears: With that offset and that wide of a wheel, anything wider for a tire would always rub, regardless of how high I put the coilover setting for ride height or how 'stiff' I made the coil. The issue is that the 20" diameter and the 11" wide +11 offset would protrude that much far out with a wider tire setup (295-305) that it would look strange AND always rub. Current Work Wheels setup: Reason I changed is simply due to traction. I was NA and barely at 270whp originally before, now I'm at 400whp and flooring it before felt like I was just not in control. The new setup has traction and it has no issue going around a corner. Likewise, I feel far more in control of the vehicle. All the issues above were resolved, and I was capable of getting a proper alignment that was more in spec compared to having the super 'stancey' setup. Verdict: If you are going for 'that look', you can achieve it BUT the sacrifice for this car is honestly handling. BUT this is all my '2 cents', if you will. Personally, I'm too impatient to drive a car that 'safely', so I think I'd rather setup the car to my driving style instead of to someone elses idea of 'style' on a car. To me, the car looked good with either setup. I just needed the handling to feel on par for me lol.

Dan Zack Not exactly, it means they are wider on the outer side instead of the wheel. Negative offset means the face of the wheel is further in the rim barrel
@@colsutd1663 so say I rocket bunny my z what do I need to look at to get a wide enough wheel because I thought offset means how wide the wheel is from the lip to the other side

I have a 2004 350z touring edition that’s a track/autoX setup. As for offset... most factory/OEM wheels come with a high 20 to low 30 offset. Unless your a hotboi trying to stance the everliving piss out of it and impress cockroaches, dogs, and crawling children.... stick to near factory offset, and roll the fenders. It’s not hard, it’s easy to do, and if you can’t afford $150 for someone to do it for you, you don’t need to be looking at wheels/Tires...
Well obviously Rachel's 18in, gold powder coated Racinghart cp f-tune type-r's are the perfect choice, or else they wouldn't have used them on the cover of Underground 2.

@@davidd6003 Instead they get exhaust tickets and tickets for being too low? I think if you're young and drive any imported car (ex. not a older car or some kind of muscle car) you're probably gonna get a ticket. I noticed this when I had a 99 Camaro Z28 and have a 370Z now. Cops tend to shy away from American car owners because they mostly like American cars because of nostalgia reasons. So you'll never see anyone from the import scene becoming a cop because most people that like imports don't really go into that profession and end up giving a pass to guys that drive a NSX because he remembered when he first saw one in fast and furious.
