Awesome cosplay, and those older armor designs were the best. The magnetic holstering of the Magnum is an especially nice touch. At the end I though he was gonna drive off in the tiny Warthog lol.

This is an impressive MJOLNIR Suit! It is really sad that this suit and all the other ones from this contest look so much better than what Showtime, Paramount, Amblin, and 343 could make for the TV show. It show that fans truly care for a franchise.
I have to disagree completely. The Halo Forward unto Dawn, Halo Paramount series and the Halo Reach live action trailer suits are about as good as you can get. Especially Forward Unto Dawn, that suit was SICK. Edit: btw I'm not shitting on the cosplayers suits in anyway, they're astonishing in their own right.
So obviously this is a top tier cosplay. But I love how the only inconsistency is how it's a little... girthier around the waist, which he's hidden with ammo pouches. It's so clever.
Yeh definitely one of the best Halo cosplays. Also wow I didn't actually actually notice the more girthier waist and now that I see it the pouches are very cleaver way to hide that part up.

Got to watch good ol’ Noble add the finishing touches to that suit back before C2E2 this year. Man does some amazing work, and I got to see a Mark VI commission he did and it was damn near just as beautiful.

Good point he did say that the suit was based of the dark horse comic when Linda gets shot so either that's what the battle damage is or its a different spartan.

Am I the only one that noticed this is MkV and not MkIV as announced XD MkIV was only in halowars. (And it is my fav armour set to date) Would really like to see true cosplay of a mkIV master chief. We have plenty of MkV and MkVI. We need some MkIV bois!
Yeh I did notice that but it looks to be a mix of the helmets because they say CEA Master Chief which is Mark V but then it shows down the bottom Mark IV but yeh not sure. Also the proportions on the Mark IV are a little odd such as the really big gap between the neck and the helmet which is why not many people cosplay as it.
@@dennizkucuk835 Oh yeh well Halo wars and Halo wars 2 aren't mainline titles which could also be why not many people decide to cosplay as Mark IV. Also depends on personal preference and if you like that certain version of Master Chief armour.

Yeh its probably one of the best Halo cosplays and I mean his hand do look small but I think the gauntlets cover most of the hands up because they do look massive so I wouldn't be surprised if something got covered up by the gauntlets.
Good point but its a cosplay and it has RGB lights so you know also I don't think its CE even though they said CEA it says Master Chief Mark IV when he walks on stage so it could be a mix between a couple of the suits.

Yeh I guess so but if it was full size it would be way to big like have you seen what a life size needler looks like its massive so imagine how big the energy sword would be.

Yeh that would have been so cool if it had like the Red VS Blue helmet static type voice but all of the suit pieces and padding does make the voice a bit muffled so it still gives off that kind of vibe of helmet static.
Yeh but it doesn't have to be lore accurate and also the most likely reason to why you couldn't pick up energy sword in Halo CE is most likely because they didn't know that so many people would want to pick it up. Also they might have been saving it for after Halo 2 since they needed to polish mechanics and stuff like that and with the addition of the Arbiter they were able to finish the mechanics and make it so Master Chief can hold them too.

Honestly the CE-style Mjolnir is so underrated. Sadly it seems to have been basically removed from canon in recent depictions of the pre-CE era.
Yeh I do really like the CE design for Master Chief. Really that's a shame that's its been kinda forgotten from canon events that happened before CE.
