Loved the betrayal of the mother by the son subtext in this scene
Lee ripped open a bandage and tried to back out of pouring the lemon juice mixed with salt water.
@@charleskinsey2077 Disgusting metaphor. It's not even accurate.
@@Onigirlihe selfishly opened the kamala wound back up (to discredit her) then tried to not bother getting the reason why.
He was right though, she is a mad dictator.
They're cycling through key moments of this show much faster than before, but in this case, I don't mind. It's such a damned good instance of what made this show great.
Yes, Lee comes out looking like a jerk, but from a legal standpoint, it's the right question to ask. It's not easy for him. Despite their occasionally strained relationship, the citizens of the fleet need to know the kind of leaders Bill & Laura are. Both in good & bad ways. I do feel their discomfort & sense of betrayal, but they WERE wrong in this case.
Lee was always my favorite character. He sticks to his principles even if it makes him unpopular.
I always hated him, he always made the dumbest decisions.
Loved the trial of Gaius Baltar, the fleet heaping all their sins on one individual. The complexity of Baltars character always fascinated me, he personified the Human condition of the duality of our lives at times.
She is Guilty as charged, Guilty of injecting the Marijuanas...
And eating the meths.
lmao
Fact: Laura Rosalin wasn’t elected into the office. She continues the term of Richard Adar. Got back in office by taking over Gaius Baltar’s term.
Madam "Never Elected" President Laura "Airlock them all" Roslin
If New Caprica hadn’t been discovered Laura “Madam Airlock” Rosalin would have won.
Lmao Roslin could be truly petty at times. She knew that line of questioning was fair game. She just wanted to make the little boy feel bad haha 😂
She is so "special" and sinless - how can anyone dare to criticize her ...
Is that sarcasm?
@@2KOOLURATOOLGaming yes
Probably my least favourite character on the show
4:51 the moment Lee realized what he had just done.
2:10 Somehow the idea of a President consuming extract of Kamala is even worse today
Are u referring to Kamala Harris?
Side effects: Hysterical laughter mid sentence for no reason.
That blew up in Lee's face, especially with Dee.
'Was partly glad Lee exposed her drug use here. Roslin was a pill sometimes.
*almost all of the time.
*All the time
The look on Lee's face after learning why she was using again says it all. He was kicking himself.
"His associate."
Don't think I'm even close to this part yet. I love ruining shows for myself lol
Me too. I just can't take when I don't know what happens next.
@@evgenkhersonets880 Sad!
Lee Adama: Are you taking kamala, madam president?
Laura Roslin: YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH!
LOL
Please, bring back the Admiral Adama mourning Kara death video
Indeed. Did this channel ever address why that video was removed?
adama was like wot?! 1:20
What I really hate about her and Adama in a sense that they are so obsessed of knowing it all that they continue to threaten the lives of others when they don't swing the same way. Survival is one thing an autocratic dictatorship that pretends to be a democracy is another.
The followup scene with Dee and Lee must be included. For me that is the full circle. Lee started something, Lee failed but the conclusion is Dee's reaction.
Requested leagelagle to do a full autopsy of this episode. It got a dozen likes. Maybe others mention this to him.
I argue that he only need to watch the courtroom scenes to have a full picture about the topics. He dont need to go through the series prior.
Powerful.
4:01 What does he mean he’s trying to cover something up? The prosecutor? The president?
He's referring to Admiral Adama.
I wold love to watch the series but question is where? I am region blocked on Peacock
Late to answer, but i torrented it on pirate bay.
You can look at Bill face at Lee the president cancer was suppost to be scerct
5:21: That moment when you feel like a complete douch.
She was hepped up on goofballs for a lot of this show, let’s be honest.
Nevertheless..
Idk why the title made me laugh but it did. I suppose b/c she was friggen using it b/c she was dying of cancer and I its worded oddly here. The stupid title makes it seem like Lee caught mom smoking a doob in the closet.
Gods Lee was such a little brat after season 2.
Worth it to do this to the President for Gaius.
???
To be fair he kind of had to expose it as horrible as it was to do so.
Kamala sounds like Kamala 👂
Was she taking Kamala the drug or the Kamala salad?
Or Kamala the Harris.
I hated Laura Roslin for every second of the series
So self-righteous yet a criminal herself.
A woefully unqualified president that they wrote as qualified. She has almost no moments of self-doubt, going from sec. of education to president and they just write her as if it was always meant to be.
What????
Ditto.
You can see in Laure face mr Adam's you are Skeptical like everyone on this ship.
About meeting tomorrow.
The truth is, my cancer has returned. And everyone on this s*** thinks I'm faking cancer to win an election.
Never really much liked Lee after this. Rather I liked him a lot less, hard character to like in general.
And I never liked Roslyn.
This is why i liked him so much from a storytelling perspective. He's a ''it's the right thing to do'' person but written in a way that makes him unpopular with the characters in the show and people irl rather than being a pillar of rightousness loved by everyone.
The amazing thing about it is you like and dislike a character at different times throughout the show. Hating Baltar to liking him towards the end. Like Felix to hating him.
he was doing his role as defence attorney properly. Failing to ask her a relevant question because it was embarrassing for her would've been negligent and unethical of him
If anything, him doing this made me like him more, not less.
We gotta get Biden to admit his somehow...
Oh my god I just realized the VP is called Kamala.
Lmao
