Thank you keenyn! Could you please make a video about the pronouciation of -s or -se at the end of the English words? Because sometimes it read -z, and the other time it read -s, which make me confused. Thank you!
Pranab- so sorry to be this delayed in responding to you! I am behind in comments... This has been fixed- thanks so much for bringing this to my attention!
I have a favor to ask: How do you pronounce "lily" as "responsibility", "ability or "formality"? For me, a Japanese, it sounds like "lildy". Does it have anything typical in American English? Thank you in advance.
The ending sound in memorial does not rhyme with the eel sound at all. They are quite different. It is me-mor-yal not me-mo-reel, isn't it? Yet, you are my greatest coach ever. I do love u and your crystal clear voice.I have gained tons of knowledge form your coaching on American accent.
It's a super quick "eel." The sounds come much quicker in the suffix. The word "eel" would have a more prominent E as in GREEN sound because it would be emphasized. However, I use the example to draw attention to the sounds themselves, which are the same, and for the opportunity to share a pick of the wee bit creepy and fascinating sea creature... 😊
Hi Keenyn, I have some problems to pronounce of these suffixes such as: - ed, -ly, -ary, -ery and prefixes like -con and words which begin -com for example comment, commitment
When NT is before -IAL, such as ESSENTIAL, POTENTIAL, SUBSTANTIAL, do some native speakers also prounounce TIAL as CHuhl instead of SHuhl? Also, do you say MENTION [ men-shuhn ] or [ men-chuhn ] ?
I've learnt new pronunciation from thank you so much and keep going on we really benefit your videos i and my little sister we also download some of your videos to memorise the key point thank again and again 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you for the lesson. I'd say that eels are not creepy but tasty! The Japanese word for eel is unagi. If you do a Google image search for unagi, you will see lots of images of mouth-watering unagi dishes!!!

9:54 I hear "i+al" but not "eel" - mater+i+al. And so in all similar examples
