I don not unterstand why Englis shools teach formal English if spoken Englsih is totally different. It is frustraiting. I think I wuold never going to learn how to speak English.
Yes- I can understand how frustrating this would be. Spoken English is so different in so many ways from written... You have to completely train your ears to hear in a new way...
Check out The Clarity Kickstart- this is absolutely where you need to start to change the way you hear and speak English: www.clearenglishcorner.com/waitlist
I first listen your lessons at 75% of the speed and then at normal speed. That works great to me. I'm learning faster than ever. Thanks for your lessons 😀👍

Nunca pensé, pero es la realidad el Inglés son dos lenguas distintas en una , el Inglés formal y el Inglés común y corriente ., y ahora se porque no entendía la tv. O el radio., es una gran clase.
Very true, Moises. It's interesting how so much changes in native spoken English- if you are not used to hearing it it can be quite confusing! So glad the lesson was helpful for you! 😊
Moises Garcia Es bueno que hayas empezado a entender el inglés en la televisión y la radio. P.S. We use English here. Therefore, write in English, please. Thank you for understanding.
Excellent lesson. I'll practise it every day. From the moment I started with your videos, I can't stop watching them and practise all the time. Thank you so much
Thank you kuan an lee! 😊 I always tell my mother when I receive a compliment about my teeth- she invested heavily in orthodontia in my formative years! 😄💕
You have the ingredients of an excellent American English teacher: clear diction, good voice, neutral standard accent. I'm becoming addicted to your videos!
Yes, sachin dey, I sure did! Fantastic listening! 😊 You are hearing the reduction of "should have" as well as the final T at the end of "thought" becoming a Flap T (quick D) and linking over in front of the reduced word "of" becoming a schwa to sound like "thou-da." Nice job!!!
This is an amazing lesson. I never heard these pronunciations. This video made me curious about English temptation. Thank you very much, Teacher Keenyan.
Hi Keenyn, I have two questions regarding Mighda and Musta. The second example in Mighda did you say that " You mighda made them mad." Am I right. and I did not get what you said in the second example of Musta. Would you please clear that for me? Regards,
Everything is fine, but for me there is too much information in one lesson. And too fast. I can't remember everything. I would like 2-3 abbreviations and more examples of use.

Hi mam! How are you? I'm Noman Sikder from Bangladesh. I think, it will be more easy to us to understand your complete speech if you give sub tittle of your speech on screen. Thank you so much mam for useful videos.
Bonjour, got to, dans les dictionnaires, on indique plutôt gotta et non godda, probablement que vous faisiez allusion à la prononciation, mais pour le retrouver dans le dictionnaire, c’est gotta.???
Wow, it is an incredible video, But unfortunately, it has no subtitles to understand, and it's hard for me to understand English videos without using subtitles. can't solve this problem?
To master these reduced pairs, is not an easy task for me. First, I heard about this issue it was long, long ago. The new words have been difficult to memorize. Then, my ears are not good enough to notice every usage of informal language in sentences. The progress is extremely slow. Long route ahead of me.
The way of your teaching fascinating me and you are cute I adore you. You are super intelligent I got a chance to taught by American professors but you are the most special In friendships

Hi Keenyn, Great video! Brand-new too! Question: What prompted you to create UA-cam videos in the first place? How long have you been doing this? Best, Albert
Hi Albert! I started in October 2017 as a way for my clients to have video lessons they could reference repeatedly if necessary and also in hopes of building a library I could then guide students through for independent study. I still aim to do this! :)
Hi Keenyn, Thanks for the info. Building a library is a great idea! I think I would do the same. By the way, you must be a caring teacher; your students are very lucky to have you! Best, Albert
Hi Keenyn, I can see you really love what you do; your videos show! You are a very very lucky person who can do what you love and can work with wonderful people. Cheers, Albert
Great question! You will hear these reductions used often in all types of interactions, from casual conversations to professional presentations. I don'y know if "proper" is the right adjective though... It's more just "common." It is certainly not improper to fully pronounce these word combinations. Does that make sense?
Dear Keeenyn, I thought that kind of butchering the language was for hillbillies, so I have avoided using it for years. Just like ain't, a really shortcut, but wrrong!! In England don't talk that way or do they? Now, I'm repeating AFTER YOU EVERYTHING, 7 or 8 times, or somtimes, until I get blue on my face!!!! Spanish pronunciation can be learned in no time at all!!,since is a phonetic language.
