    Wow, great lesson. I knew that Americans dropped their t in certain words because of the video you made. What I didn't know is its dropped in between two constant as well. Another awesome video!! 👏👏👏
    The T is definitely the trickiest consonant in English. It has a lot of ways to be pronounced, depending upon its position in the word. Sometimes it disappears after an N such as WINTER becomes WINNER. But what made me shocked most was the fact that the T appears between the sounds NS = NTS for example SCIENCE is pronounced like SIEYUNTS and ONCE and WANTS sound the same WUNTS. It's crazy, isn't it? Haha! I love❤pronunciation.

    • @ClearEnglishCorner
      @ClearEnglishCorner  5 років тому +1

      Oh my goodness, Adair José! I have never thought of it this way. I suppose the perception of /t/ in inevitable as the tip of the tongue pulls away from the alveolar ridge moving from the /n/ sound to the /s/. You always have such interesting observations! Love it! 😊

    • @adairjoseartes3645
      @adairjoseartes3645 5 років тому

      @@ClearEnglishCorner Certainly, I think the insertion of the sound /t/ between the /n/ and /s/ makes the articulation easier. It might be another topic for your videos haha!
