I ran into Chuck Connors at the Dallas-Fort Worth International airport while I was in the Navy transiting to the Persian Gulf 1987. I was in my dress whites. He was a tall guy and he was just looking at me from top to bottom. We both locked eyes because I almost ran into him as he was coming into the airport.
Looking back the TV series “The Love Boat” back in the 70s, those were the best times of my life. Good old days brought back so many wonderful memories. Glad I was from that golden era and my heart is still beating at 65 years young…😂

We could see Lee major (Steve Austin) and Richard Anderson (Oscar Goldman) but we didn't see Lindsay Wagner (Jaime Sommers). We also saw John Hillerman (higgins) but not Tom Selleck (MAGNUM). What a TV era it was.
Aww I grew up in the beautiful love boat Era. These actors and actresses are absolutely amazing. Many are gone, but not forgotten. Those were the days.

That was a crazy amount of famous faces from the 80’s. It was also fun to watch. I actually got to go onboard the Love Boat (Pacific Princess) in 1987. while I was with some of my family vacationing in St. Thomas. My Aunt & Uncle, from Massachusetts, told us they were also coming and they just happened to be sailing on it. We all were invited onboard, took a tour and ate lunch on it. It was very cool to see but would’ve been even better if Isaac, Doc, Captain Stubing, Gopher and Julie had been there.
& I bet the ones who were too stuck up to go on it because they thought they were too big of movie stars or whatever regret it now. There’s probly inside jokes around Hollywood with stars ages 50- dead (lol) about being part of The “Love Boat club” Although: it WAS completely cheesy & bad. I mean imagine Al Pacino or Faye Dunaway being on The Love Boat doing one of those cheese storylines saying that awful dialogue 🤔 ok maybe not everyone regrets it 😂
