Kanami started being the main writer and arranger of the music here. First song that was totally composed and released by them. I also suggest at some point you react to the documentaries of each member of the band. They are really good. Start with Saiki, then Kanami, Akane, Misa, and Miku in that order. They get called Pop Punk or Power Pop a lot. But they are so much more than that. They jump genres and even blend them in the same song. They can do it all!

Once they were left "Alone" by their record / management companies to create what they wanted, well... look what they did. Alone's somewhat sad, heavy yet empowering story (topics Miku's known for writing about), up against Kanami's up-tempo, complex yet rockin' music is quintessential Band-Maid. BAND-MAID is an important influence and contributor to the music industry with a continuous, growing worldwide fanbase. But to me, they are just the best sounding, best writers of hard rock music, and the most fun, joyous group of musicians to come along since the Beatles! Thx, Kyle!
