Until then, Kanami continued to write songs, suggested many times, but wasn't allowed to release. After this song, most of the songs became their own songs. It is a commemorative song that Kanami's composition is recognized and blooms.
Akane is a beast, I feel exhausted watching her play. I only discovered Band-Maid at the end of last year, but I'm happy I did. They always give 500% to their performance and rock legend Jimmy Page being impressed by Akane's drumming means she's doing something right :)

BAND-MAID is an important influence and contributor to the music industry with a continuous, growing worldwide fanbase. But to me, they are just the best sounding, best writers of hard rock music, and the most fun, joyous group of musicians to come along since the Beatles.

If you like ALONE, I recommend Bubble YOLO and Glory. They are funky and cool rock songs. If you want to see another side of them, what about Wonderland? It's a jazzy power ballad with great Saiki vocals and fascinating drum・bass・guitar・chorus.
Alone is a fantastic song. This was the first song I heard where Akane REALLY stood out to me. This was probably the 3rd or 4th song I heard by BAND-MAID. The drums were just so upfront in the mix and Akane has some really cool fills and what I always call off beat feeling drums (I mean that in a good way). She even adds the little bit of tasteful double kicks at the end. Kanamis solo is fantastic as well, I believe there was a bit of sweep picking at the end of the solo. Very cool stuff.
