Thank you!! Appreciate that you take each step w/ us, & show all the details many others skip. I’m still learning, & need to see every detail (like how to cut the folder in the beginning). Many others skip those little steps, but some of us are visual learners, & need to see it. Idc how long the video is, I appreciate those parts, & your teaching style, it’s easy to understand. I know this video is older, but I just found your page, & wish I’d found you sooner, but I’m following now, & can’t wait to see what else I can learn from you! 😍
@@JesusIsKingForever77 thank you so much! I really appreciate your kindness and your feedback. It's hard to know how much to include and not worry about boring everyone. This helps to know! Thanks 💜
Love! I’ve watched a lot of videos of a lot of different people and have to say you’re an easy watch. Your voice, how you teach, perfect. I have to admit some people just aren’t made to do teaching videos or their voice gets under my skin lol. They’re lovely but some are just extra extra. You are great.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills with us. A tip that may help with the space beneath the buttons is using a plastic bread bag tab. As a young man, many many many years ago a lady told me about that to aid in making a space behind shirt buttons when sewing on/replacing buttons. The bread bag tab gives you the right spacing for your material so it may work here too but it also may be too big of space. Thanks again and stay safe everyone!
This is total gorgeousness! One of the most beautiful folders I've ever seen!! Honestly, I don't know why you don't take the whole hour to do this. I am sure I am not the only one who thinks that long crafting videos are soothing to our eyes and a balsam to our ears after a long working day. I am going to make this. I don't know when but I am in total awe. 💕
Excellent ideas. I appreciate all the little tips along the way, especially the bit of folded s rap under the paper so the brads aren't too tight...I've always had this problem. No need to apologize for the length of your tutorials. I appreciate the fact that you offer them....free. Take care and btw, the new studio is wonderful. The sign story got me teary eyed. Be blessed.
Hi. I really enjoyed watching you create this project. The length of the video was just fine. Take as much time as you need. It takes as long as it takes. Lol. I prefer a longer more relaxed video than one where you feel rushed to save time. Those who really want to learn how to make the project wont care how long you take we just want to learn from you. Thank you so much for sharing
Saved to my TheBookVandalShop folder!! Btw~ the last thing I do when watching great vids is the time!! JS I’m learning the techniques/instructions for this great project.
This is so nice!!! I think it would be great not only as an insert but also a stand alone. Years and eons ago I did a video using the medical tape in a different way. You can stamp on it and then distress it (kinda your own personalized tape) Tfs..I will put this on my must try list. gina
So glad to see someone else using the tape out of the first aid box. I was feeling kind of over the edge. Seems that nothing is sacred when I get crafting. HeHe
Great video and not too long. You are so inspirational will all your videos, they are so easy to follow and you explain thing ready well, do you have a teaching background I wonder. Thanks for sharing.
I really appreciate succinct videos like this. I have a hard time keeping focused because I want to jump right in and keeping it to the necessities makes it easier to do things right!
Thank you so much Dawn, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and stunning and gorgeous folder. I really really love ❤️ how it’s come together and how you give us so many tips and tricks to make creating this easier for us all. And may I say, I really really love ❤️ your nails, they are really really awesome!!!!!!!! Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
My FaceTime crafters started this as our project today. They love it. We did the folder and the left side. We are finishing it on Tuesday. That is as soon as we can get together to finish it up. One of our girls does it from work. Well she owns the business and has 2 men work for her. They do the work and she crafts. It’s a hoot.
OMG... this is so gorgeous! I love your tutorial, it is so well explained. I'm getting ideas to make some with the poems I wrote for my sisters... ( I have 8 of them).. They would love this . Thanks for sharing your creativity...... Colleen
Well I got a good start on it tonight and will have to finish up tomorrow Great little tutorial love these little folio thingys Thanks a Bunch. Hi there, when I saw this I just knew I had to make it. I have never been so inspired in my life. I also happen to have everything (except the sports tape) but I found it at my local Dollar Tree. It turned out beautiful & I love it so much. I also made another file folder that you had a video on. I’d love to show you some pictures but I don’t know where to send them. You are an awesome teacher, you explain everything so well. Thank you for that.

Thank you. Umm, I'm not sure about it acting like archival tape. It has an odd texture and sports tape definitely wouldn't be archival.
I love this project. Blessings and Hugs 🤗
Hockey tape works well too.
