Idea for the steering wheel buttons funcionality. ..from a xc60 recharge perspective... DRIVE MODE selection. Is unbelievable how hard and unsafe is to change the mode (say to constant AWD) while driving at night under pouring rain.
Wow, a big shout-out and thank you for mentioning the seats - I bought an S80 in 2006 and last February sold it and purchased a 2023 XC60 Recharge Ultimate T8. The thigh area of the seat is so uncomfortable I had to end up getting 2 seat cushions to make it tolerable. In the S80, I never felt uncomfortable. I hang out on Volvo chat forums and some have mentioned the same issue, while others don't feel the discomfort at all, it's a very curious situation. Appreciate your video - though I love just about every aspect of my new Volvo, your points are valid.
9:00 to me i think Volvo could make the camera pop up on the driver gauges when driving close to something. And when reversing the 360 camera pop up in the big screen and I think Volvo should add the back up camera in driver gauges too.
Thinks I love about volvo are. 1. The easy controls, I don’t want a Benz or an airplane, I hate overcrowded controls. But I don’t want a full screen like Tesla either . 2. I used the handle a lot, I go out to off read a lot. 3. The remote control bottles are useful since I can used them in my pocket. Without taking the out. Those 3 points are the things I like about volvo. But I have the 2021. Not the newest one, you describe
Regarding the unused left and right arrow steering wheel switches, I’d like to see Volvo use them for cycling through drive modes (defaulting to AWD if so equipped on the first click for quick access) and the right button for battery charge mode if so equipped (defaulting to Auto). There’s also no need to even go to the center screen since those modes always show in the drivers display as text and icons.
I think the lack of any major updates to the Sensus system in the SPA cars also shows Volvo is not on the level of other premium legacy car manufacturers (even though none of them truly have great infotainment software in my opinion). The very least Volvo could’ve done is implement full screen apple CarPlay for the Sensus system. It’s a shame that my Volvo, barely a year old has an infotainment system that feels like it came from 2012 and is full of bugs and major issues and sadly Volvo is not at all willing to help or listen to its customers.
That piss me off too. They abandoned Sensus for basically not that old premium cars and develop only AAOS for newer models. So bey bey full-screen CarPlay or CarPlay Waze on driver display.
Key fob is fine. No inadvertent activations like fobs with buttons on flat surfaces. 2023 XC60 Ultimate seats are very comfortable. Display issues are nits. Too many ads in this video for its length.
The 2023 XC 60 doesn't come with the black under-the-hood thermal and acoustic barrier pad lining!! And dealers don't have them to sell as a part/accessory!! BIG MISTAKE!! 😡
I can't believe that. Their must be something wrong. Korean spec model have that for all models. I have inspected new car as a business so you can check it my another site. blog.naver.com/revolutionary19
@@allaboutvolvocar2 Yes. I mentioned that to the Orlando, FL dealer, where I bought the car. Guess what?!?! The representative there was puzzled when he opened up the 2023 XC 60 floor model hood and saw I was right!! He went on and opened the hood of a 2023 XC 90 and there was a pad lining in there as opposed to the XC 60 model. Then I asked about purchasing a padded lining for the XC 60 - after researching the issue, he came back to me and said there's NO one available for the 2023 XC 60.
@@cloureiroIt must be treated under warranty it means they have to place a new pad on your car without costing if you didn't take away pad lining on purpose. I assume you didn't of course. I just can't believe how they handle your issue.
Thanks for mentioning the lack/absence of sunglass storage in Volvos since no other car reviewer mentions them!

Thanks for your comment. Only kinda you who had experienced old Volvo seat can notice uncomfortable spot on new Volvo seats.

In my script, there is a huge complaint about volvo camera logic already. Just watch and like it later. Thanks.

Never used any key button other than lock/unlock. The others aren't important for me.

Yeah good idea if they reimprint icon on the buttons instead arrow symbol, ur idea would be good one.
I have MY2023 XC60 and completely agree with you!
Volvo became crappy when it became a Chinese company

Also, there's no way to turn on and off head up display without scrolling through tha Android menu
These are hardly deal breakers! 🤔😲🤔
Funny enough, Mazda has copied Volvo's modern key design.

Did you ask the issue about pad lining you mentioned? I'm wondering how your local dealer will manage your car pad issue.
