Volvo City Safety is calculated to protect collision in the city max speed 50km per hour not if you drive like a madman over 150km per hour, but right speed safety develops over time it's about how good the camera is!

My 2023 American XC90 has the park button problem. Made me almost hit my garage wall several times. Piece of shit car. Never buying Volvo again. How can your whole brand be about safety AND THEN THE CAR DOESN’T PARK WHEN IT’S SUPPOSED TO!?!?

For those thinking that such “screen off” issue is due to being a brand new model or the OS being a preview… it’s been a while since all Android based Volvos do the same; black screens, reloads, cameras going off while parking, lag, a dozen taps to adjust the AC, 4g signal on or off for no reason… the engines, drive quality and materials are top notch… but the infotainment system is just a mess to say the least.

How did no one notice that you can not do quick high beam flash because of the headlight design? That would be a dealbreaker for many. Also, WFT Volvo with all touchscreen controls.

As for the seat memorized position, that works as documented… it is assumed (I’m afraid that doesn’t probably work for you) that positions are saved for different drivers, so, if you press the button BEFORE you sit, the seat moves to your preset position automatically. On the other hand, if you wanna switch from inside the car, once the door is closed, you can still do, but having to press the button (probably as a safety feature in case one driver is way taller than the other and you mistakenly press the small one’s position being the tall one; if not it’d “squeeze you” hehe). Btw, the seat position is also saved in the key/profile, so if you share the car (both my wife and I share ours) use your own provided key and forget about all these things, as the car detects the key and applies the whole profile, with the seat position being part of it. What I haven’t read about is the double click feature to tilt the rear view mirror manually (the 360 camera works fair enough and so I haven’t needed it), thanks for the tip!

9:00 to me i think Volvo could make the camera pop up on the driver gauges when driving close to something. And when reversing the 360 camera pop up in the big screen and I think Volvo should add the back up camera in driver gauges too.

I am willing to bet that old "mannerisms" or bad habits, combined with apathy, complacency, and permissive labor laws protecting underperforming employees and -yes- unions protecting sub-performing employees have anything to do with this. Of course Chinese employees are younger, more eager to make a difference, and very competitive since they can be replaced instantly with a milion others. I wouldnot mind buying a superiori chinese product if well built. For those thumbing their nose, may I ask- do you have an iPhone, a Canon camera, any major brand computer or device? Then you are already using well-built superior Chinese tech. Nokia and Ericcson have factories in China....ahem.
