New York Times Co. v. United States (1971) “The press was to serve the governed, not the governors.” U.S. Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black musumeci-v-us-department-homeland-security 2010 there are currently no general security regulations prohibiting exterior photography by individuals on publicly accessible spaces, absent a written local rule, regulation, or order. a federal judge signed a settlement in which the federal government agreed that no federal statutes or regulations bar photography of federal courthouses from publicly accessible property. Martin, Perez v Evans et al Case 1:16-cv-11362 A blanket ban on secret audio or video recording... is unconstitutional when the person being recorded is a government official or a police officer performing their duties in public... Glik v. Cunniffe, 655 F.3d 78 (1st Cir. 2011) is a case in which the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit held that a private citizen has the right to record video and audio of public officials in a public place, and that the arrest of the citizen for a wiretapping violation violated his First and Fourth Amendment rights. Riley v. California, 573 U.S. (2014), is a landmark United States Supreme Court case in which the Court unanimously held that the warrantless search and seizure of digital contents of a cell phone or camera during an arrest is unconstitutional. Turner v. Driver, No. 16-10312 (5th Cir. 2017), is a 2017 decision of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit that established a First Amendment right to record the police. One of the officers involved was criminally indicted for a similar incident around the same time. The court found that: "We conclude that First Amendment principles, controlling authority, and persuasive precedent demonstrate that a First Amendment right to record the police does exist, subject only to reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions." Moore v. Wilson et al 1:2012cv00238 (2012) TIAWANDA MOORE, Plaintiff, v. RICHARD PLOTKE and LUIS ALEJO, Defendants. MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER JOHN ROBERT BLAKEY, District Judge. Plaintiff Tiawanda Moore sued the City of Chicago and Chicago Police Officers Jason Wilson, Richard Plotke and Luis Alejo pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §1983 for violating her constitutional rights under the First and Fourth Amendments to the United States Constitution. She also alleged malicious prosecution in violation of Illinois state law. To summarize her allegations, she claimed that when Officer Wilson responded to a domestic disturbance call at her home, he groped her and made a pass at her. She called 3-1-1 (the City's non-emergency number) to complain about Wilson's conduct, and her complaint was assigned to the Chicago Police Department's Internal Affairs Division, which investigates complaints of misconduct by Chicago Police Officers. Moore's complaint was assigned to defendant Plotke, who, with the assistance of Alejo, interviewed Moore about her allegations against Wilson. During that interview, Moore used her Blackberry to record surreptitiously the parties' conversation. When Plotke and Alejo discovered that Moore had recorded the conversation, they arrested her for violating the Illinois eavesdropping statute. Moore was eventually found not guilty of the eavesdropping charge. Near v. Minnesota (1931) This case helped the Supreme Court define freedom of the press and the concept of prior restraint. When Minneapolis newspaper editor Jay Near attacked local officials by claiming in print that they were associated with gangsters, Minnesota officials obtained an injunction to keep Near from publishing his paper under state law. The law said that anyone who published a "malicious, scandalous and defamatory" newspaper article was a nuisance and could be stopped from publishing such information. The Supreme Court had to determine if the Minnesota law restricted freedom of the press. The Court ruled that the law kept certain information from being published - a concept called prior restraint -- and violated the First Amendment. This case helped establish the principle that the government can't censor or prohibit a publication in advance, with a few exceptions, even though the communication might be actionable in a future proceeding
Why do police feel it's always necessary to lie , and try to extort money, or put people in jail. Doing a legal activity isn't harassment. If anyone is harassing anyone, the guy whining is the one harassing you.
You shouldn't have left. As soon as those cops educated that TSA agent you should have stayed another 15 minutes to show him how wrong he was. In his mind now that you left, he will think he is justified and he is far from it. I don't know their internal policies but it sounds like he needs some more training. He is way too high on authority he does not have.
You my friend are very professional. The way you dealt with that is by the way of education. Plus you are a true gentleman who dealt with the jobs worth like a school teacher. I have subscribed as you are the best I have seen so far. You have my full respect.
camera don't lie. i don't get the fact, that its all on camera. but then they always want to play the blame game on someone. they can never admit that they are in the wrong. it said, that the police get Qualified immunity and so does the government. so, you can never sue them, or ever be persecuted.
The published TSA policy on public photography of its checkpoints reads as follows: "TSA does not prohibit photographing, videotaping or filming at security checkpoints, as long as the screening process is not interfered with or sensitive information is not revealed. "Interference with screening includes but is not limited to holding a recording device up to the face of a TSA officer so that the officer is unable to see or move, refusing to assume the proper stance during screening, blocking the movement of others through the checkpoint or refusing to submit a recording device for screening. "Additionally, you may not film or take pictures of equipment monitors that are shielded from public view." The CUN auditor was not violating any of the restrictions noted in the policy. The three TSA officers all approached the auditor and invaded his personal space, not the other way around, and at no time was the auditor standing within the TSA inspection (screening) area and therefore not interfering with the inspection process, was not blocking the movement of anyone at the checkpoint, and was not in any area shielded from public view. Therefore he was perfectly free to exercise his First Amendment right to audio and video record the TSA activities without interference from either the TSA or LEOs. There is no expectation of privacy in public places and additionally multiple US Circuit Courts have held that the audio and video recording of public officials engaged in their official duties in public is absolutely protected by the free speech and free press clauses of the First Amendment irrespective of any state or local "wiretap" laws.

DAMN THIS IS THE 3RD TIME I WATCHED THIS AND JUST REALIZED... HE WAS DRUNK... LOOK AT HIS BEHAVIORS... Larry the Drinky Too Muchie.. in my Chris Farley voice... LOL😂🤣😜
where did this notion come from that you have to get "permission" to film a person in public? this is insane
New York Times Co. v. United States (1971)
“The press was to serve the governed, not the governors.”
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black
musumeci-v-us-department-homeland-security 2010
there are currently no general security regulations prohibiting exterior photography by individuals on publicly accessible spaces, absent a written local rule, regulation, or order.
a federal judge signed a settlement in which the federal government agreed that no federal statutes or regulations bar photography of federal courthouses from publicly accessible property.
Martin, Perez v Evans et al Case 1:16-cv-11362
A blanket ban on secret audio or video recording... is unconstitutional when the person being recorded is a government official or a police officer performing their duties in public...
The court found that: "We conclude that First Amendment principles, controlling authority, and persuasive precedent demonstrate that a First Amendment right to record the police does exist, subject only to reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions."
Moore v. Wilson et al 1:2012cv00238 (2012)
TIAWANDA MOORE, Plaintiff, v. RICHARD PLOTKE and LUIS ALEJO, Defendants.
MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
JOHN ROBERT BLAKEY, District Judge.
Near v. Minnesota (1931)
This case helped the Supreme Court define freedom of the press and the concept of prior restraint.
This case helped establish the principle that the government can't censor or prohibit a publication in advance, with a few exceptions, even though the communication might be actionable in a future proceeding

keep up the good work! I'm in the Nashville areas as well. Request Scientology visit!!
Will W I’ve been wanting to to hit those wackos. I’ll be back in Nashville soon and I’ll hit it up. Thanks for watching!
His coworkers were knowledgeable, but ol' Larry decided he wanted to remain stuck on stupid.
Old Larry was crying like a baby
Why do police feel it's always necessary to lie , and try to extort money, or put people in jail. Doing a legal activity isn't harassment. If anyone is harassing anyone, the guy whining is the one harassing you.

"I don't work for you!"
😉
Love for you to go and film the sheriffs office there in Pikeville Tennessee A lot of corruption there
Ron Novak Sr. I’ll put it on my list! Thanks for watching and the support!
At 12.14 that Black woman is so bored from no customers she wants to know whats going on.
Does anyone have a Tennessee accent for me to hear?
Good to see, the police are learning, and not violating rights.
Thanks for watching
Good thing Larry never drew his radio on you, he was itching to draw the whole time!
from Canada. great vids and job
frank mcleod thank you sir!
Dude your awesome 👏 😎 TSA the 🏀 🏀 to do an audit on them you rock !!! They are the worst !!!
Your girlfriend thinks you are as well. I'm sorry she hasn't said anything to you yet.
Ragesauce still learning, missing opportunities and making mistakes. Thanks for the feedback. It makes me a better auditor!
@@civilunrestnews1349 yea we're all learning, just made me angry that he treated you that way.
i really like how the police never know the law
"uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I don't know if it's a law or not" says the law enforcement officer
He never once took his hand off that walkie on the fast forward sequence even after.
Love the live music in the airports now! Mayor Turner was pushing for this in Houston instead of giving the fire department a raise
he is sensitive about his picture because of those giant ears
You my friend are very professional. The way you dealt with that is by the way of education. Plus you are a true gentleman who dealt with the jobs worth like a school teacher. I have subscribed as you are the best I have seen so far. You have my full respect.
Didn't you know, you're supposed to FEAR his use of the radio!
The results of our public education system arrived and are now available and on display disguised as TSA in Nashville. Good job and video.
God I bet he was furious, he wanted to play at being in charge and you pissed all over him, Walk of Shame 🤣😂😁
camera don't lie. i don't get the fact, that its all on camera. but then
they always want to play the blame game on someone. they can never admit that they are in the wrong. it said, that the police get Qualified immunity and so does the government. so, you can never sue them, or ever be persecuted.
LOVE IT !!! LOVE IT !! NEW SUB !!! Great JOB !!!
BEACH WALKER thanks for the support!
Professional ! Make more !! Love the music and the Larry dance with the music great editing !!
sue that airport! They have to be ashamed of themselves, calling an elderly woman in a red outfit a "plastic bag"??? (1:29 --> look at that counter)
Airport PD better give the officer some more training before they get sued.
TSA is a federal agency, the Airport PD is not. I know in Tampa International, the Airport PD is hired by the State of Florida.
The published TSA policy on public photography of its checkpoints reads as follows:
"TSA does not prohibit photographing, videotaping or filming at security checkpoints, as long as the screening process is not interfered with or sensitive information is not revealed.
"Interference with screening includes but is not limited to holding a recording device up to the face of a TSA officer so that the officer is unable to see or move, refusing to assume the proper stance during screening, blocking the movement of others through the checkpoint or refusing to submit a recording device for screening.
"Additionally, you may not film or take pictures of equipment monitors that are shielded from public view."
The CUN auditor was not violating any of the restrictions noted in the policy.
Thanks for watching and the comment!
The level of inadequate training for that TSA dooche is astounding. Hes really bent too
i could their job 1000% better than they do.
Did you get in trouble?
mustange550 😂No
