Here's a major problem with this claim Gantz came up with a tiny, short, mid-engine, water cooled, extremely large wheeled car with a different style of chassis that looks nothing like a Volkswagen Beetle. Every single one of his cars look nothing like a Volkswagen Beetle.
What Ferdinand Porsche did is what every single automotive maker has ever done they looked at other designs and went oh wow how can I take that and improve it and that's exactly what happened. Ferdinand came up with a better chassis a better engine and a better design.
For anyone to sit there and say that the beetle was invented by Joseph Gantz is ludicrous because nothing against ever did saw fruition in the Beetle.
I doubt it. The KdF company was Hitlers brainchild (Fraft durch Freude = strength through joy). You should realize that after the war, VW payed Ganz considerable amounts of money. No one ever knew why VW did that.
Also remember: devellopment of a 'peoples car' was Porsche's wish from the 1920's. Hitler just gave him the opportunity to do it.
Maybe when vw gave ganz money maybe he gave up the rights to say he was the inventer could be ...so many lies ..tatra sued vw because vw stole the tatras transmission design ...and maybe was scared of ganz sueing them so they gave him $$ to be quiet could be 🤔🤔
At the opening of the KdF factory in 1938 the drive around in the V2 cabriolet is well known , Ferry Porsche driving, Hitler in the front passenger seat , Prof.Porsche senior behind his son but who is the man in the forth seat? a Gauleiter? someone from RAD? anybody know?
Ganz invented it but porsche made it a more better style..truth will never be told ganz is dead Hitler and Mr porsche... but I think ganz was the one ....
