1980s Angle Grinder Restoration
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 лют 2025
- I managed to find a large angle grinder at a second-hand Japanese goods store. It's a Kosoku brand, an old Japanese brand. According to my research, it's the HSF 182 model, manufactured around the 1980s. Unfortunately, it's in a rather sorry state with a seized spindle and switch. The exterior is covered in thick layers of grime, and the screws are severely rusted and difficult to remove. To restore this angle grinder, I'll be sandblasting and rust-blasting each component, and replacing any parts that can't be repaired. Let's see how the restoration turns out!
Angle Grinder Information *
Brand Kosoku
Frequency 50/60 Hz
Type HSF182
VOLTS 110V
DISC Wheel 180*8*22mm, 4300m/min
R.P.M 7000
AMP'S 5,5
I'm very happy to receive your feedback, advice, suggestions to improve myself.

Thank You for your video !
I truly admire those who find an item like this and don't see it as junk but restorable to like new.
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Excellent restoration!! I like a lot of restoration videos, but I also believe that you like to restore, it is better than buying a new one! Stand out for the induced that I thought it was to check and not necessary, the key ties and unties that I thought it would be checked and was restored and the sticker to toast the restoration with the golden key! Excellent work!!!
thank you ❤️❤️❤️
That was awesome... I love how you restored the switch. Creative.
thank bro❤️❤️❤️
Good as new. Great job on the switch!
🥰🥰🥰 thanks
Back to brand new! Great resto!
thank you 😊😊😊
thank you so much i'm glad you like it ❤️ have a nice day

Ever heard of WD-40?????
It's another popular one, you can find it online
@@hbrestoration I mean you should be using it (WD-40) instead of beating the crap out of rusty screws!!!!

I like your videos but please screw down your vise grip tightly, it drives me nuts to even look at! :D Cheers.
I also want to secure it but leaving it free will make it easier to spin
Dude, put some WD on those rusty screws instead of beating the crap out of them.

Зря гайку разрезал надо было диск сломать,я не думаю что он ценнее чем гайка.
The nut was also tried to be destroyed, at that time I thought it could no longer be used. Thank you for that idea
03:50 where is WD-40?
bottom surface is plastic
What happens if used on plastic surfaces??
I find it not very effective when used with plastic materials.
Çok yavaş restore yapiyon beğenmedim biraz canlı restore yapsan🫵🫵😏😏😏😏😔😔😔😔

This is professional. Outstanding workmanship but you get the blue ribbon on rhe switch!
😅
Please use a vise to block your stuff in the beginning you makes me so sad to work like this
There are several reasons why I did not secure the vise 😥
In 1980 WD-40 don't exist 😂
