The story behind the B-52 crash makes it all the more tragic. The co-pilot and crew repeatedly warned of the captain's dangerous stunts when in the cockpit. He repeatedly would push the plane beyond its limits.
@@collenfisher3635 it's part of military culture. It's very difficult to get people removed from positions especially ones who have been there for a long time. If you Google the accident or read the Wikipedia it tells the story.

Ramstein Air Show was horrific. Friends of my parents lost their lives there and parents from a friend of mine were there and survived. The despair and helplessness of the people, people trying to save burning people, the screams, the mixed thick smell of burned skin and kerosene, the heat, the panic. I remember the first one (B52 crash) when it happened, as I was in Seattle. I was describing it to my mom when she stopped me and said, "I know, I used to work on them." (She worked for Boeing in the 1950s-1960s). That reminded me how much I respect her. :) She is still here, in her 90s.

I believe this is the one where the plane snagged on a barbed wire fence and pulled the whole thing through the crowd. If you can imagine the physical implications of that, you'll understand why that caused so many of the deaths.
This comment is so fking stupid. Don’t go to a concert, do you realize how many people have died being crushed by a crowd? Don’t drive a car, do you realize how many people have died in a crash? Dont go to an amusement park, do you realize how many people have died on a coaster? If your really worried about going to an air show you should not do a god damn single fucking thing in this world
Those clips of planes crashing into crowds at airshows is the sole reason why I don't go to airshows. You never know and they always perform dangerous stunts. Also a fact I found.. The pilot of the second crash survived the crash but unfortunately later succumbed to his burn injuries.
1:50 that took place in Afghanistan, the reason was that armored vehicles weren't strapped with enough straps which caused the plane to lose balance and inevitably crash. Edit: it's obviously not the weight difference that caused the aircraft to lose balance. The last armored vehicle in the cargo rolled back to the area that houses the hydraulics and made the aircraft very hard to impossible to control.
Seeing this gives me the chills for all the lives tragically lost so suddenly. It also reminds me of what could have happened to my friend and me. A co-worker (in his 50's) that we flew with in a small plane on Mother's Day in 1982 had a MAJOR heart attack at our work yard and died just 21 months later in February of 1984. If that had happened when we were flying, then all three of us would have died in a fiery crash like this. Forty years later, that flight still haunts my friend and me.

The Ramstein incident involved the italian Frecce Tricolori, one of which unfortunately crashed because of a bird strike during takeoff one week ago. Yup, overbanking in a BUFF at low altitude definitely not recommended.
Ramstein Air Show was horrific. Friends of my parents lost their lives there and parents from a friend of mine were there and survived. The despair and helplessness of the people, people trying to save burning people, the screams, the mixed thick smell of burned skin and kerosene, the heat, the panic. The most close you can get to feel what hell is like. They told me that even 34 years after the event took place they still feel like it was yesterday when they jumped off the gravediggers shovel. May all of those who found death in these tragic events rest in piece.

One of my AF student buddies was at the Ramstine show. I asked what it was like he said he thought he was going to die. HE got the Huey helicopter started and pilot showed up to do the transport of patients to the hospital

1:50 that took place in Afghanistan, the reason was that armored vehicles weren't strapped with enough straps which caused the plane to lose balance and inevitably crash.

You know a bomber cannot be flown that way even at an airshow.
That's where it was.
@@sFOREVERJAVKSON i just wanna know why did he do this stupid move?
@@JosephMuhammedAli
All I remember is that it was an airshow and he was showing off because that kind of aircraft isn't designed to make those kind of manouvers.
There was a copilot as well that died, it was stupid.
@@sFOREVERJAVKSON of course. It’s impossible for Travel Airplane to work Vertically 60-90°. Else it’s gonna lose the power and the Gravity is gonna pull it nearer and nearer. He’s a Terrible pilot
@@JosephMuhammedAli
Yeah it was pretty brutal the first time I saw it back then.
Even though I knew nothing about flying planes I knew that he shouldn't have been doing that.
Holy Crap! That last one at 9:06 is so sad. The pilot managed to get the giant airliner off the ground for a couple of minutes after it was damaged during that take off and then sadly crashes soon after😞thats really heart breaking and terrifying. Too bad the pilot couldn't manage to do a safe emergency landing.
@3A-2 he stalled the plane , it could have been avoided but very unlikely he had aynwhere to safely do an emergency landing
@@alterateawful6709 The cargo was not strapped correctly and all went to the rear on takeoff. Center of gravity drastically shifted causing this stall. Unavoidable and unlandable after the shift occurred.
@@DFWCASSANOVA do u have the source? because cargo is usually not heavier than half of the plane
@@alterateawful6709 doesn’t matter…takes very little weight to change the centre of gravity
@@Housey1985 Moreover, if I remember correctly, the cargo - some armored military vehicles - got lose, crashed into the back of the cargo bay and damaged hydraulics there that were needed for steering the plane.
This is heartbreaking 💔 please help me with that heart put back in pieces I love your videos keep it up friend 😔

Lmao
Lol at the car getting clipped.
Imagine having to explain that to your insurance 😆
5:58 Stayin alive has to be the most perfect song for that moment. Seeing the pilot eject was a moment of happiness.
Could someone put together a list of the names of the incidents with time stamps? It's really frustrating to not be able to look up details, given that for each one of them, I'm screaming WHY??? I found out a couple of them, but not most. E.g., 4:16?

Bro. 1:35 is the scariest to watch.
The other planes crashed but a lot of them looked natural as the crashed. They kinda just glided into the ground, whereas this one you can see the plane flying erratically which would be crazy to witness
Right? The way it stalls and almost hovers is super creepy.
It haunts me forever. The grey skies the slow eerie motions like time stood still and then the worst of the worst thing to happen. I find it so sad too. Air crashes are always more sadder than anything else.
@@deprofundis3293 that’s the worst part. Imagine actually being on the plane while that happened smh
@@ushiwaka19 airplane crashes are one of the worst things to me.
To actually experience it and know you are about to die as it girls towards the ground

The person the ejected, has so much little time to get out. Thank fuck he or she managed to eject in time ✌️

And here I thought a water landing was the safest landing technique
@@SG-fm9wd same
@@astronoman008 atleast you learned your lesson on what would happened if you try landing on water
But seriously though if you pull a “miracle on the Hudson move” you need to get out immediately cause your plane gonna sink and your pretty much a dead man if you don’t know how to swim

I'm not scared I'm sad... the family the friends... I cannot feel how they feel... it must hurt so much
Did you like it?
@St Matthew "be scared" is the worst and stupidest advice i've ever heard in my entire life
@St Matthew No it doesn't. Objectively you are more likely to die in a car crash than on a plane, even adjusted for the number of trips taken. Life is a gift, so don't squander it being a pussy.
@St Matthew "It is estimated that the odds of dying in a plane crash are 1 in 9,821. For a better perspective, that is 1 fatal accident per 16 million flights. Whereas the odds of dying in a car crash are approximately 1 in 114."
@St Matthew you sound like a pussy LOL
I’ve seen individual videos of many of these crashes before, somehow the emotional impact is even greater when shown as a compilation. R.I.P. all poor souls whose lives were so tragically cut short.
Aviation disasters have always intrigued me , as an adolescent teenage girl I feel a little weird to be fascinated by such a thing… but here I am I guess
Its normal to be curious about death .....it makes us appreciate life even more , work hard when your young ....u will be 50 before u know it ....make hay while the sun shines as it ďoesnt shine forever
nah your fine, humans have a built-in morbid curiosity for seeing disasters
thought i was the only one 🤔
Me too, I always feel bad for pilots who tried their damn hardest to prevent disaster but to no avail. The last words are what always get me.
3:10 WHO TF IS CLAPPING?!?

7:47 that pilot who ejected must’ve felt very thankful to survive
Ejection seats are designed and tested at the lowest altitudes possible. Watch the old steam car on rails ejection seat test videos from the 50s and 60s. THAT is why they shoot you so high away from the plane.
